Heart of Christmas - Week 12
Hi Everyone, Week 12 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop and only 7 week until Christmas Scary!!!!
Where has the year gone?
This week I have gone for a Classic look card and I am using the Dashing Deer Bundle yet again. (I Love it)
I have only used the Thick Very Vanilla and Gold Foil Sheet for this card and the only other colours used are Early Espresso and Tranquil Tide for the ink. Using the Swirls and Curls Embossing folder to give the front of the card just that little more depth, I really think it sets it off prefect.
I mounted my layers onto dimensionals to lift it away from the rest of the card. My mum loved this card so much she made one the same while staying with me over the weekend.
I kept the inside very simple as I just didn't think it needed much to keep the classic look.
If you would like to purchase any or all of the items used in this project you will find them in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue and the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. Please give me a call or email so that I can help you with your purchase.

Colour Creations - Grapefruit Grove
Hi Everyone, Here we are at Grapefruit Grove Week: not sure of this colour, it is a beautiful colour but not one I think I would use very much.
I have chosen to use the Grapefruit Grove as my base card and added a Whisper White layer and then another layer in the Grapefruit Grove. Before added more layers on the top.
With the DSP from the Share What You Love Suite, and one of the pearl doilies.
I Finished the front of the card by stamping in Grapefruit Grove ink and adding some pearls in the same colour.
I kept the insert very simple so that the card can be used for many an occasion as I don't have any female birthdays coming up until next year now.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call or email. Details can be found at the top of my blog.

I Started with a Garden Green card base and added the gold foil layer and I stamped the stars in Garden Green on the Whisper White before adding this to the front of the card also. Using my layering circles framelits I cut out a circle in the Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper and placed this in the centre front. I then cut out the rein deer and edges from the Dashing Deer dies and glued the edges at the top of the card and mounted the deer on dimensionals over the green circle. I stamped my sentiment from the Merry Christmas All stamp set and mounted this also on dimensionals to the front of the card.
I then added a Whisper White insert and stamped in Garden Green to finish off the card. Colour Creations - Gorgeous Grape
Hi Everyone, We are at week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop and this week the colour is Gorgeous Grape. Well I did struggle to find a project for this colour even though it's a beautiful colour. I ended up CASE-ing from a pinterest that I found and loved so I'm going to thank the lovely lady who's card it was. Thank you Kylie Bertucci.
So this weeks card I used Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Whisper White card stock and the Tropical Chic stamp set.
I stamped in Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay to get the array of colours and I used White Embossing Powder for my Sentiment. I also added a few Clear Rhinestones just to finish it off.
I layered my card stock the same on the inside and outside of the card and stamped the leaves in the same colours as well.
I love this stamp set as I believe it can be used for both male and female cards.
All Items used in this project are in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call or email so that I can help you with your purchase.

Heart of Christmas - Week 9
Hi Everyone, This week I am using a feature stamp set. I hear you all asking what is a feature stamp set? Well on my Facebook group "Di's Den for Stamping crafting and Tutorials" I have used this card to feature the stamp set. I know it's an oldie but it is still in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue, and I love it.
I called it "Peeping Rein Deer" I started out with an Early Espresso card base and added whisper white to the top of the front of the card that I have run through the big shot using my Softly Falling Embossing folder I added the wood texture DSP to the bottom half of the card and a small piece of sparkle glimmer paper to look like snow on the very bottom.
I then stamped my rein deer using the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and then punched them out using the matching punch. I coloured in the antlers using markers and then added wink of Stella to add a little sparkle.
I stamped my sentiment using versa mark and gold embossing powder and I added a red Rhinestone to the middle rein deer's nose. I then mounted them to the front of my card using dimensionals.
I stamped my insert and glued this to the inside of the card. As I made this card to feature on my Facebook group, you will find a tutorial there for all the measurements required. If you would like to join my group please go to the page mentioned above or it you would like to purchase the products used to make this project please let me know by email, phone or PM so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Garden Green
Hi Everyone, We are at the G's with our colours this week, and the colour is......... Garden Green.
This is not a hard colour for me as green is my favourite colour. This week I decided I would do a novelty card for a change. So sorting through my stamps sets and chose "Bubbles and Bubbly"
I stamped the lady in the bath onto whisper white and on Garden Green and the feet of the bath onto some silver foil sheet I then cut them all out by have and added the green bath and silver feet onto the white stamped image. I used my white gel pen to give the bath some dimension. I then stamped a small piece of copy paper for the shower curtain and folded it so that it was on one side of the bath. I also cut a very thin slither of silver foil sheet to thread through the curtain to give the appearance of a rod. I then thought if I coloured around the edge of the card to give the look of being wet it would add the hot bathroom look.
I added a shelf for the candles and then placed my image on dimensionals and mounted it to the front of the card and wink of Stella to the Bubbles in the bath. My little mat was cut from a piece of card and afterward screwed up and flatten out to look like the bathroom mat next to my bath.......lol
I then stamped my insert and mounted it to the inside of my card. Just plain and simple but says it all.
If you like this card and would like to purchased any or all of the products used in this project please give me a call so that I can help you. All Items are in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue.

I coloured the flowers using the blender pens.

Colour Creations - Fresh Fig
Hi All, This week the colour is Fresh Fig this is one of the 2017 - 2019 In Colours and sadly it will end next at the end of May. I for one will be sad to see it go as I really love this colour. My card this week was inspired by a lady in Germany I couldn't understand what she was saying but I got the general idea and ran with it.
I started with a Fresh Fig card and using my Layered Leaves Embossing folder I emboss the leaves I then took my Versa Mark pad and patted it all over the sheet added my Silver embossing powder and then brushed off the parts I didn't want embossed to give a patchy look I then heated the powder to set it. I mounted this onto my card front. I then added a silver foil sheet layer and then stamped and embossed in silver the Dandelion Wishes stamp (Page 118) and the Sentiment from the Petal Palette stamp (Page 119) .
I then added this to the front of the card so that it looks like a card on a card. I added another sentiment to the inside of this card and I also used magnet to hold this flap down nicely.
I added my insert using whisper white card and stamped again from the dandelion stamp set. I love this effect and I think if I made this card again I would slightly enlarge the card on the front to make this into a gift card holder. Great for all occasions.
