Week 42 - Colour Creations Showcase - Rococo Rose

Hello All and Welcome to week 42 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Showcase. We are now getting to the pointy end of the colours and this week I we have Rococo Rose. I love this colour unfortunately it will be leaving us this year as this colour is from the 2019-2021 In-color Range. Being a beautiful Dusty Rose I find it so easy to work with.

As it's my Mum's Birthday this Saturday 3rd I thought I would make a lovely card for her to cheer her up. She is still in hospital as she has had to have a 2nd hip replacement as the 1st one didn't work. not a nice way to spend your 89th birthday that's for sure. Plus we can't all visit as you are only allowed 2 visitor per day. I started my card with a Rococo Rose Card base and added my layers starting with Just Jade and then the Butterfly Brilliance DSP I then added a flower from the Always and Forever bundle and a Silver Butterfly also from the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle. I stamped my Message and layered using more Rococo Rose card and White and finished off the front with Gold Enamel dots.

For my writing panel on the back I stamped the flower and YOU SO VERY MUCH and cut out the LOVE from the Always and Forever bundle and I think this says it all.
It's sad to see so many of these items retiring so soon but I know I will be using them for quite some time yet.

Week 41 - Colour Creations Showcase - Rich Razzleberry

Hello and welcome to week 41 of the Colour Creations showcase, This week our colour is Rich Razzleberry. This is a very rich plum colour and not one of my favourites as I find it hard to work with. But I have managed to come up with a card using the love Artistry Bloom DSP along with Peaceful Moments Bundle and Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.
I made a fun fold card that is called Bi-Fold Shutter Card. I started with the Rich Razzleberry for the base and added a white layer before added the DSP layer, for my insert I turned the layers so that the DSP is under the white layer (easier for writing your message).

I used the DSP to make my poppy from as well as I thought it would add interest to the flower. I added a white ribbon to the bottom of the ovals and then cut out 2 butterflies from silver foil sheet, to finish off the front of the card I added some silver metallic pearls.

My insert as you can see has the DSP behind the white layer I then stamped the tall poppy and coloured using the blends in Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. All my stamping was also done in Rich Razzleberry. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue except the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle with will be in the New Annual Catalogue, but can be purchase now. If you would like to purchase any or all of the products used in this project please give me a call, email or PM me.

Week 40 Colour Creations Showcase - Real Red

Hello and Welcome to week 40 of the colour creations Showcase. Our colour this week in Real Red a lovely bright Red that reminds you of Christmas, but as we are closer to Easter than Christmas I wont have a Christmas Card for you nor an Easter Card.
I decided to dig out an older set from the Annual Catalogue that I haven't used in a while.

Pampered Pets, I used the DSP as well as the bundle to create this Birthday Card. I cut my dog and cat from the DSP and used another piece for the windoe of the card. All my stamping is in Real Red ink and all from the same stamp set. I did use the layering squares to create my frame for the DSP.

My insert reflects the front of the card with more dogs and cat cut from the DSP and Real Red layer. I did keep it very simple but I thought it really did let the recipient know what I was trying to say. I have a lot of birthdays coming up in April so I'm sure it will get used for one of them.
If you would like to purchase any or all of the products used in this project, please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase. As these items are all from the 2020-2021 Annual catalogue some of all of these product could be retiring at the beginning of May so please don't wait to long.

Week 39 - Colour Creations Showcase - Purple Posy

Hello and welcome to week 39 of the Colour Creations Showocase. This week we are showcasing the beautiful 2019-2021 Incolor called Purple Posy. It's a really lovely soft purple and I will be sad to see it retired in just a few months time. I decided I would team this up with the next shade of purple in our colour range Highland Heather, as I think they go together really well.

I started my project using a Highland Heather card base and layered with a Purple Posy and True love DSP I then added the Scalloped linen ribbon in Purple Posy as well. I then stamped my flowers from the Forever & Always bundle and using the blends in both light and dark coloured the flowers and leaves. before cutting them out. I mounted them onto the card front using dimensionals and added a touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers. I then cut out the word Love in Highland Heather and Purple Posy and mounted them together on the front of the card I stamped the work YOU using Highland Heather and added some Pastel Pearls to finish off the front of the card.

My insert is  comprised of a Purple Posy layer and a white layer that I stamped the words FOREVER & on Highland Heather I then cut out the words Always and glued them together to place on the inside I also stamped, coloured and cut out the smaller flower to glue inside. I just thought the inside of this card needed to be eye popping as well as the front. All the items used in the project can be found in the Annual 2020-2021 Catalogue or the 2021 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of all of these products please give me a call, email or PM so that I might help you with your purchase.

Week 38 - Colour Creations Showcase - Pumpkin Pie

Hello all and welcome to week 38 of the Colour Creations Showcase. This week we have Pumpkin Pie as our colour. It's a beautiful rich Orange and my second favourite colour so I have found this quite easy to work with. I decided to used the Rooted in Nature stamp set and an Autumn theme for my card as we are coming into this time of the year when there are so many lovely colours on the trees.

I started with a Pumpkin Pie card base and added a Pear Pizzazz layer that I run through my embossing machine with the Subtle Embossing Folder, I then added a Pumpkin Pie layer on an angle before stamping a white layer with White Embossing Powder and the leaf stamp. I used Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry ink pads along with my blending brushes to colour the white card to give a lovely muted background. I then stamped my sentiment with White Embossing Powder and heat set it before cutting it out using the die from the So Sentimental bundle. I mounted this to the front of my card using dimensionals and then added 2 Pear Pizzazz and 2 Pumpkin Pie leaves and some Gold Enamel dots.

My insert I used another Pear Pizzazz layer before added the white layer of which I stamped around the edge the same leaves as for the front of the card. I then stamped my sentiment using Pumpkin Pie.  I don't know who will get this card yet but I'm sure I will know the right person when it's time.
