Week 28 Granny Apple Green - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 28, can you believe we are in November already. Where has the time gone? This week we have another green for you that we are featuring, it's called Granny Apple Green and it really does look like an Apple. I wanted to do something I don't normally do and that was to case the catalogue. So I search through and found this one Using the Lily Pond Lane Suite. Adding my own twist along the way.

I Started with a Basic White card base and added a Granny Apple Green layer. I then used the deckled Circles to put out the DSP from the suit and another in White to place under it. Using Balmy Blue on the white to give the appearance of water. I then cut out the reeds and lilly pads from Granny Apple Green and the flowers and rushes from Peach Pie. I also cut the wings to the duck in Peach Pie and the main part of the birds in Basic Gray. I put the DSP layer up on dimensionals and added my sentiment to the top left. Finishing off the front with the Dappled Dots.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card with a Granny Apple Green layer and then another Basic White stamping front in inside with Granny Apple Green and placing some more reeds and Rushes in bottom corner along with a frog on a lily pad.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2024-25 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue except the Deckled Circles which are an online Exclusive. If you would like to know more about these product, please feel free to contact me.

Week 8 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Lemon Lolly

Hello and welcome to week 8 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is another of the new colours called Lemon Lolly. What a beautiful bright Yellow and a really happy colour. Lemon Lolly is part of the Subtles collection. I have chosen a tri fold card to highlight this lovely colour today.

I started with a Lemon Lolly card base and added Granny Apple Green for a layer and then the DSP from the Bright a Beautiful papers. Even thought in the catalogue it doesn't list Lemon Lolly it does on the packaging of the DSP.  I used the Sweet Citrus Bundle for the fruit on the front and inside stamping the rind of the fruit using Lemon Line Twist and Lemon Lolly for the Flesh of the fruit. Finishing off the front of the card using the Stylish Shapes Dies for the tag and iridescent Rhinestones.

I also added more fruit to the inside of the card to carry the theme over. This is a really lovely Happy card, and I love the colour combo that I used.

I used the other side of the DSP for the middle section of the card. All the items used in this project can be found in the current 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card design please feel free to contact me via Phone, Email or PM so that I might help you.

Week 28 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Melon Mambo

Hugs Diane xx
Hello and welcome to week 28 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this week our feature colour is called Melon Mambo. It's a beautiful bright pink, and one of my favourite colours in the Stampin' Up! range. I have chosen a lovely fancy fold card this week to show case this colour. it's called a Diamond faceted easel card. I think this card really does bring out the best in these colours.

I started with a Melon Mambo card base and my layers are Granny Apple Green and the beautiful Hues of Happiness DSP. I also stamped the inside of the card using the matching stamp set for the outline of the flowers stamped in Melon Mambo. Finishing off the side stopper for the easel with the lovely Bufferfly Brilliance dies and Gold foil card. I also used the lovely Glossy Dots Assortment.

Where do you write your personal message I hear you ask? well that is done on the back of the card. As this is a 5 3/4 inch (14.6cm) card I added a writing panel to the back of the card, with plenty of space to write.

This card does lay flat and fits into a 6in (15.2cm) square envelope. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card design please feel free to contact me via - email, PM or phone.

Week 24 Colour Creations - Blog-Hop - Granny Apple Green

Hello and welcome to week 24 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Granny Apple Green, and as green is my favourite colour I really enjoyed making this card. Being part of the Bright Collection I thought it would be nice to make a Christmas card.

I started me card with a Basic White card base and the layer is Granny Apple Green that I die cut using the "Split Card Textures Dies" that you will find on page 174 of the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.  I then wanted to have a play with the Window Wishes Bundle Found on Page 36 of the July-Dec 2022 Mini Stampin' Up! Catalogue. So I set about doing my scene and then added my window. Placing the candles on the window sill.

I added the garland over the window and used the little ribbon die to place at the top. But it looked a little bare to me to I added the Festive Pearls in all of the 4 colours to add some bling. I finished off the front of the card with my Merry Wishes that I tucked behind the candles and added a few more pearls.

My insert as normal for me is very plain. I added the candles again in the bottom right-hand corner and my sentiment. I then place this onto another layer of Granny Apple Green card. I know I used a fair bit of bling on the front but I was happy with how this card turned out. I need to play with this set some more.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue and the July-Dec 2022 Mini Catalogue as stated earlier. If you would like to know more about this project or the product used please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 20 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Granny Apple Green

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop from the Art with Heart Team Australia. This week our colour is called Granny Apple Green it is part of the Brights Collection and one of my favourite colours.

I thought I would make a Christmas card and I Love the Penguin Place Bundle (Page 33) in the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue. This is called a Triple Easel Card and I love it. I started with a Granny Apple Green Card Base and using some Basic White I make my own DSP using the snow flakes stamp from the bundle and Granny Apple Green Ink. I then used my Blending Brush and more of the same colour to lightly colour the white to a very pale green. I then used the layering circles to cut out the stoppers and the pictures along with the Penguin Place stamp set for my pop up images.

It's so cute and I think it really pops in the Granny Apple Green. I attached the pop up images and stoppers to the card using dimensionals and a touch of Wink of Stella to the Christmas Trees.

I stamped the inside of the card on the left-hand side under the middle panel from the same stamp set. This will leave plenty of room for writing my message at a later date. Keeping this card with only the white and green theme was very easy to do, and I think it is effective.
All the items used in this project are from the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue and the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of all of these products and you live in Australia, please give me a Call, PM or Email so that I can help you with your purchase.

Hi Everyone and Welcome to week 19 of the colour creations Showcase from the Art with Heart Team Australia. This week our colour is Granny Apple Green, and as Green is my favourite colour I really had fun making this card.
I chose the Tree Angle Stamp Set from the Aug-Sept 2020 Mini Catalogue and the Dies from The Right Triangle Bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.
I started with a Slim Line card in Whisper White and then added a Granny Apple Green Layer. My next layer was White again and I used my Sponge Brayer and Granny Apple Green ink for the bottom half of the card and Soft Sea Foam for the top half. I then stamped the snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes Bundle in Balmy Blue. I Stamped a variety of the Trees onto white card. I also stamped the trunk of the tree and then placed them onto the front of the card. I add some gold stars to the top of the trees to finish them off.  I added my Sentiment to the top and a Sliver Snowflake then a few Wonderful Gems just of finishing touches.

My insert was layered the same as the front of the card I also stamped some snowflakes in the top left-hand corner and one of the Tree Angle Trees down the bottom. All my Sentiment Stamping Front and Insert were stamped in Garden Green.

Colour Creations - Granny Apple Green.

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=2929

Hi Everyone we are back again for the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, and this week the colour is Granny Apple Green I Love Love Love it. (well that's not hard as green is my favourite colour)

I have CASEd the Holiday catalogue for this card as I really did love it and if I do say so I think it turned out just fantastic.

I used the Granny Apple Green as my base card and added Real Red and Whisper White Layers to the front of the card. I stamped my leaves using the Christmas Pines stamp set. I then added the string for the lights. I cut my light bulbs from card stock in Real Red, Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green and the tops from Gold Foil Sheet. I added dimensionals to the back of them and after working out where I wanted them placed I used my daubers in the same colour inks to add a hue behind the lights before attaching them. I used my white gel pen to add the shine mark on the bulbs I think this just finished off the lights.

Adding the dimensions to the back bring the front of the card to life. I stamped my sentiment on the front in black as I wanted the contrast.

I added the same layers to inside of the card. I stamped more leave and another string before adding the 3 sentiment bulbs saying Merry and Bright!

All the items for this project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2018 Holiday Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call so that I can help you with your purchase.

Colour Creations - Gorgeous Grape

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-20-gorgeous-grape/

Hi Everyone, We are at week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop and this week the colour is Gorgeous Grape. Well I did struggle to find a project for this colour even though it's a beautiful colour. I ended up CASE-ing from a pinterest  that I found and loved so I'm going to thank the lovely lady who's card it was. Thank you Kylie Bertucci.
So this weeks card I used Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Whisper White card stock and the Tropical Chic stamp set.

I stamped in Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay to get the array of colours and I used White Embossing Powder for my Sentiment. I also added a few Clear Rhinestones just to finish it off.

I layered my card stock the same on the inside and outside of the card and stamped the leaves in the same colours as well.
I love this stamp set as I believe it can be used for both male and female cards.
All Items used in this project are in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call or email so that I can help you with your purchase.
