Week 22 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Garden Green

Hi Everyone, welcome to week 22 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Garden Green, and as green is my favourite colour I found this one really easy to work with.

Garden Green is part of the Regals Collection, and goes will with most other colours.  I decided this week I wasn't going to make a card, I wanted to do something a little different. So I have made a Birthday Reminder Calendar.

I started with  Garden Green card to make my holder and using the Party Puffins I stamped the front layer of my holder. I Stamped the front layer Message using Garden Green Ink. I coloured my puffin using the write markers. The message came from the Days to Remember stamp Set.

I then stamped the months of the year in Garden Green onto my panels. Adding the amount of days in each month, stamped in Memento Black. I made my cards double sided, and the space below is so that I can add the names of the people who have birthday on that month. I used the ring from the stamp set to mark the days that I wanted to remember.

Such a lovely idea and as I haven't added the days of the week onto my cards, only the dates I can used this year after year.  All of the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project or the items used, please feel free to contact me via email, PM or Phone.

Week 21 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Fresh Freesia

Hello and welcome to week 21 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Fresh Freesia. This colour is part of the 2021-2023 In Color Range. It's a very pretty Lilac and so easy to work with.

This week I have chosen to make a fancy fold card that until last week I had never heard of, It's called a 3rd Fold Card.

A really different design than I have every seen before. But I thought I would give this one a go. So I started with a Garden Green card base and added my layers in Fresh Freesia and them my DSP layer Tea Boutique. Adding a topper using the Cup of Tea Bundle.

As you can see the card looks like a gate fold but that's the thing it's only a half gate fold. The insert I layered with just a Basic White stamping in Garden Green and Fresh Freesia. I also added the same layers to the Right-hand bottom corner so that when the card is closed it looks symmetrical. I thought this looked better.
There is plenty of room to write your message even with the extra panel added to the right-hand side. This is a 5 1/2 inch (14cm) Square card and I really love the way it turned out.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this card or the products used, please feel free to contact me Via email, PM or Phone.

Week 20 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Flirty Flamingo

Hello and welcome to week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Flirty Flamingo. This colour is part of the Brights Collection, but I wouldn't say it's one that I really like that much. I always find it hard to work with. But here is what I came up with.

I decided to make a Twisted Easel Card with a lovely fan on the front. So starting with a Basic White card base I added the Flirty Flamingo layer to the front that I stamped with the Cottage Rose. Then with the Perfectly Penciled DSP I coloured the flowers using the Flirty Flamingo Blends and then folded it into a fan shape. gluing this to the front section of the card. I then stamped the beautiful Cottage Rose Flower and coloured using the same blends, Cutting this out using the dies. I glued this to the fan and used Wink of Stella to give it some bling.

Once again I used a Flirty Flamingo layer for the insert and then another Basic White layer that I stamped  using the Cottage Rose. Colouring this to match the one on the front of the card. I than used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut out the banner for my Stopper. I cut 2 and layered them on top of each other. I placed this on an angle so that the front of the card would twist around and stand up nicely. All of the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I might help you.

Week 19 Colour Creations - Blog-Hop - Evening Evergreen

Hi and welcome to week 19 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. Here we are with the only other colour in the Stampin' Up! range starting with an E. It's Evening Evergreen a really dark green and as green is my favourite colour I was happy making this card. I decided I would make a Christmas card as I like traditional Christmas colours.

So Starting with a Real Red card base I added an Evening Evergreen layer that I have Embossed using the lovely Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I then added another Real Red layer and then my DSP layer using Boughs of Holly Paper, that I cut to form a pocket. Placing a tag inside the pocket Stamped using Evening Evergreen ink. I made up some Holly Leaves and Berries for decoration and a Tag from the Stylish Shapes dies. The holly leave are from the Leaves of Holly Bundle. I finished off the front with a ribbon on the tag so that who ever receives this card will know to look, and so of the 2021-2023 Opal Rounds.

For the inside of my card I once again added an Evening Evergreen layer then a Basic white. Stamping in Evening Evergreen. A lovely card that you could attach a gift card to the tag for someone special.
