Week 14 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Coastal Cabana

Hi there and welcome to week 14 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Coastal Cabana, this is from the Brights Collection. A lovely Turquoise colour and I love it. I decided to team it up with Bermuda Bay, as I think these two colours go together really well. So I started with a Bermuda Bay card base and added the Coastal Cabana layer I stamped this layer using the Happiness Abounds stamp set just to give the outline of the flowers. I them added 3 scalloped circle layers using the layering circles dies before adding one of the flowers from the matching DSP. I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set and used the Stylish Shapes dies. Finishing off the front with some Basic rhinestones.

I curled the flower and added the leaves using dimensionals. I painted the whole flower using Wink of Stella.

My insert was a layer of Coastal Cabana and Basic White card Stamping the flower outline again to match the front of the card and a simple Best Wishes. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. Week 8 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Bermuda Bay

Hello and Welcome to week 8 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring the colour Bermuda Bay. It's a really lovely greeny blue colour and part of the Brights Collection.  I have chosen to feature this colour with ink and card stock only.  So I have used the New Christmas Scottie Bundle from the up and coming July-Dec 2022 Mini Catalogue.

I started my project with a Basic White card base and add the Bermuda Bay layers to the front and inside of my card. Then using more Basic White I stamped the Checker pattern from the Christmas Scottie Stamp set using Bermuda Bay Ink. I then layered this onto my Left hand side front panel. I stamped my sentiment and snowflakes onto the right hand side panel. I then used some Basic Black to punch out the Scottie Dog. Adding a Bermuda Bay bow. The Festive Pearls were used for the dogs eye and card front.

When the card stands up the flap on the right hand side can swing out a little. I stamped the inside on my card using Bermuda Bay Ink as well. Stamping the Stars and Merry Christmas.

This is such a quick and easy card to make and I think the little Scottie Dog looks so lovely on the front. All of the items used in this project will be available to purchase from the 1st July 2022 when the Mini Catalogue goes live.

If you would like to know more about this fold or the product used please feel free to give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 25 - Colour Creations Blog- Hop Mango Melody

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 25 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. If this is your first time here, we are counting down the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order and creating a project using each weeks featured colour. This week we are showcasing Mango Melody. A beautiful rich Orangy-Yellow and one of my favourite yellows in the colour pallet. It is part of the Brights collection it pairs  well with just about any colour. I have paired mine with Old Olive and Bermuda Bay.

I have used the Love of Leaves for my card and stamped them in Mango Melody, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay and them using my Water Painter I splattered the card with more Mango Melody ink. I then layered this onto a Mango Melody layer and then onto a Basic White card base. I added my sentiment to the front I layered the sentiment with Mango Melody and Bermuda bay card to make it stand out and to finish off the front of the card I added some Holiday rhinestones.

For the inside of the card I layered my Basic white onto Mango Melody and with a piece of the stamped image from the front that I trimmed off, I added this to the white layer. I stamped my sentiment and then added this all to the inside of the card. All the items used in this weeks project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. Week 4 - Colour Creations Blog Hop - Bermuda Bay

Hello and welcome to week 4 of the Art with Heart Team Colour Creations Blop Hop. This week our colour is Bermuda Bay. A beautiful rich colour, but I did have a few problems designing a card for this week as I had a real mental blank. But I made it through in the end.

My card this week was stamping tone on tone, I stamped it several times using the Stamparatus. I used the lovely Butterfly Brilliance Stamp set to stamp the butterflies and then using the Heat and Stick powder and Versa Mark I stamped the butterflies again. I then added the gilded Leafing to add that touch of gold to the card. I then cut the stamped panel into 3 even pieces and attached them to a Basic White layer with dimensionals before attaching them to the front of the card. I stamped my sentiment and flagged one end. I glued the sentiment to the front of the card. I added Basic Pearls that I coloured to finish off the front of the card.

My insert I stamped just along the left-hand edge with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp and then my message stamp to finish off from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

All items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you Live in Australia and would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Colour Creations Showcase - Week 3 Bermuda Bay

https://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=5155

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 3 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Showcase.  As you know we are going through the colours in Alphabetical order so this week we have Bermuda Bay What a lovely colour this is, and I don't use it that much that I only had one full A4 sheet left. Just enough for this project.
I have made 2 card the same but different.

I started by stamping the images from the "A Good Man" and "Beautiful Moments" set onto Whisper White Card making it look like one Picture (well I hope so to everyone else) and then coloured one of the picture using the blender pens and the other using the Water Painter brush and my ink pads. The one on the left is with Blender Pens.
I then layered them onto one of the frames from the Ornate Garden Suite in the Bermuda Bay and then on to Gold and Silver Foil Sheet using another of the frames. before placing them onto the front of a White card base.
I stamped my sentiment from the same set and added this to the bottom.

My insert for my card is a layer of Bermuda Bay and white and the little butterflies and sentiment are from the Beautiful Moments set and coloured using the blender pens.
All the items used in these project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any of these products or would like more information on them please give me a Call, email or PM. I will be happy to help you.
Why not head over to Catherine's Page here-: so that you can see all the other lovely projects made using this weeks colour "Bermuda Bay"
Thanks You and Bye for Now........Hugs Diane

Colour Creations - Gorgeous Grape

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-20-gorgeous-grape/

Hi Everyone, We are at week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop and this week the colour is Gorgeous Grape. Well I did struggle to find a project for this colour even though it's a beautiful colour. I ended up CASE-ing from a pinterest  that I found and loved so I'm going to thank the lovely lady who's card it was. Thank you Kylie Bertucci.
So this weeks card I used Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Whisper White card stock and the Tropical Chic stamp set.

I stamped in Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay to get the array of colours and I used White Embossing Powder for my Sentiment. I also added a few Clear Rhinestones just to finish it off.

I layered my card stock the same on the inside and outside of the card and stamped the leaves in the same colours as well.
I love this stamp set as I believe it can be used for both male and female cards.
All Items used in this project are in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call or email so that I can help you with your purchase.
