Week 45 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Shaded Spruce

Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations blog-Hop. This week (and we are getting close to the end now) we are featuring Shaded Spruce. This to me is a lovely Christmas Green colour. As Green is my favourite colour I didn't have much trouble coming up with a card. I used the Bee My Valentine Bundle. But I didn't make a Valentines card. I just love that little Bee.

I started with a Shaded Spruce card base and added a Pool Party layer. Then I added my DSP from the bundle I used the Colour & Contour bundle to cut the edge of the DSP and the centre for my Bee to sit on. I also added some Basic white to the centre piece and stamped it. I then cut out the bee and stamped his wings onto Vellum I finished off with some lovely Sequins.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card with the honey comb and bee trails. I think this will make a lovely Birthday card for someone special. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!.  If you would like to know more about these product or my design please feel free to contact me.

Week 45 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Shaded Spruce

Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this is week 45 of 50 so we are getting close to the end of the hop. This week our colour is called Shaded Spruce, a lovely green that is part of the Regals Collection. in the collection you will find matching Card, Ink and Markers as well as Blends light and Dark. I have chosen an older bundle to share with you all today. This bundle can be found on page 73 of the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.\, and is called Forever Fern.

I started with a Basic White card base and added the Shaded Spruce layer, I then added a Mint Macaron layer that I stamped using Shaded Spruce ink stamped off once. I then stamped the leaves in Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron & Old Olive and cut them out using the dies. I finished off with a little bit of Silver Leaves. I then added the sentiment layers and stamped in Shaded Spruce. I added a few 2021-2023 Opal Rounds and splashed around the Wink of Stella to add a little sparkle.

I layered the inside of my card using Shaded Spruce and Basic White.  I stamped the Leaves in Shaded Spruce but I didn't add a sentiment message to the inside of the card, as the words on the front can be used for many occasions.

A simple card with plenty of uses.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project or the products used please feel free to contact me via Email, Phone or PM.

Week 42 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Shaded Spruce

Hello and Welcome to week 42 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we have Shaded Spruce as our colour. This is a very dark rich green colour and part of the Regals Collection. You can find Card Stock, Ink Pad, Refil and Blends in this colour as well as DSP. Being as green is my favourite colour I didn't have much trouble coming up with some thing. Unsure we you call this design, but I have seen it done several times and thought I would like to have a try. So here is my version of the slanted fronted card.

Using Shaded Spruce as my base card I added a Gold Foil Layer and then DSP from the Expressions in Ink collection. I then made a Belly Band and used the Layering Circles to cut out a large Scalloped Circle. I stamped the large Flower image from the Artisically Inked Bundle and them cut it out with the dies. mounting this on to the gold Foil Circle I added a few of the leave to finish off the belly Band. I place my sentiment onto a piece of Basic White card with more Gold Foil behind it. I added a few or the Iridescent Rhinestones to finish off the front of the card.

I can't believe how easy this card is to make and it looks so effective cut on these angles. I think I will have to do a tutorial on this one. As always my insert is very plain (I prefer them that way).

Stamping in Shaded Spruce and then using the blending brushes to soften the edges. All the items used in this project can be found in the Annual 2021-2022 Catalogue. If you would like more information about this project or you would like to purchase the supplies used please feel free to give me a Call, email or PM, so that I might help you.

Week 46 Shaded Spruce - Colour Creations Showcase

Hi All, Here we are with our week 46 of the Colour Creations Showcase. This week we have Shaded Spruce for you all to get inspired with. Green is my favourite colour so I really didn't find this hard to work with. Part of the Regal Collection it was nice to work with a colour that I like.

I wanted to use a bundle that is retiring at the beginning of May so I chose the Arrange a Wreath for this card and I was really happy how it turned out. I started with an Old Olive Card base and added a Shaded Spruce layer and then my DSP from the Forever Greenery set, I cut out the wreath leaves in both Old Olive and Shaded Spruce turning one over so that the leaves could be seen better I then glued them together. I added the flowers and red bow to finish off the front of the card.

I layered the inside of my card with Shaded Spruce and White card and added 2 strips down the left side I had cut out the other wreath and didn't use it on the front so I decided I would cut it down and use it on the inside I think it gives a lovely bit of interest to the insert, and saves wasting the cut piece as well. It's sad to see the Forever Greenery DSP and the Arrange A Wreath Bundle leaving us, but with so many more new product I know we will be able to create some lovely cards I can't wait to give them a go. If I can help you with a purchase please give me a call, email or PM me I will be happy to help you.

Heart of Christmas - Week 9

http://bit.ly/2019HOC9

Hello Everyone, and welcome to week 9 of the Heart of Christmas 2019.
I think we are all having so much fun show casing so many lovely items, I for one am getting so much inspiration for my fellow hoppers.
This week I am using the  lovely "Wrapped in Plaid" designer paper for my card, and I love the way the gold flecks really stand out. I don't think the picture in the catalogue really does it justice.

I have made a Box Card using the "Bells are Ringing" bundle and the sentiment tag from the "Toile Christmas" stamp set.
I cut out the bells using the gold foil paper and backed them in Shaded Spruce and I gold embossed the Christmas Wishes to finish off the front of the card.
As it is hard to write your message on the inside I have placed a writing panel on the back.

This is such a lovely card and so easy to make my card is 5 x 5 1/2 inches so it's really a great size. I think you could place some Christmas chocolates inside the card or gift voucher/money.
I really enjoy making cards that are a little different and this one fits in that category so well.

All the items used to make this project can be found in the Annual and Holiday Catalogue for 2019 - 2020 if you would like to purchase any or all of the items used here please either give me a call, email or PM me so that I might help you with your purchase.
why  not head over to Claire's page now and catch up with the other ladies in this Blog- Hop.
Have a great week seen you all again soon.

Colour Creations - Shaded Spruce

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3676

Hi everyone, here we are at week 45 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop only 5 more weeks to go. Wow where has this year gone.
Today our colour is Shaded Spruce and beautiful green colour and as green is my favourite colour I didn't find it hard to come up with a project. I chose to use the Tropical Chic stamp set and dies along with the matching DSP for this card. I also used a fancy fold to show case this card.
I started with a Granny Apple green card and the shaded spruce is in the DSP and the ink used to stamp the leaves.I stamped my leaves onto Granny Apple Green card before cutting them out and my flowers were stamped in Melon Mambo. I'm so glad that all of what I used will be carrying over into the 2019 - 2020 Annual Catalogue.
I used the layering square dies for the front of my card and the stitched rectangles for my sentiment.

I placed my Square on to dimensionals to give it more depth, but i glued the leaves on flat and then used more dimensionals for the sentiment.
I stamped more leaves on the writing panel on the back of the card. I will be writing a tutorial for this card on my FACEBOOK Group so keep an eye out for it in early May. (Probably Mother's Day Sunday) All the items used in the project are in the current 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and will be carrying over to the new 2019-2020 Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the items used here please give me a call, email or PM me so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Flirty Flamingo

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-17-flirty-flamingo/

Hi Everyone, this week is Flirty Flamingo week. Yep it's kind of a rich pinky colour, really pretty.
I thought I would combined a few sets here because for me this colour reminds me of pigs.

So I have used the "This Little Pig" stamp set and I used my blender pen to colour in the image from my ink pad (not Blender pens). I started with a Whisper White card base and added a Flirty Flamingo layer along with Tropical Escape D.S.P. I then stamped tone on tone using the "Very Vintage" stamp set. (Hostess set). I die cut out my pig image using the layering circles and run this through my Big Shot along with a piece of Shaded Spruce card to put behind it.
I used the Classic Label punch to punch out the sentiment and then layered this onto another piece of Shaded Spruce and trimmed this to put a small boarder around it. I them punched out 2 sprig from the Sprig Punch and I mounted both the image and sentiment to the from of the card using Dimensionals.
I added a small pearl from the artisan pearls and then used my Wink of Stella on the pig to give him a big of a shimmer.

I layered up my inserts using Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White, before stamping my sentiment and a few clouds . The stamp sets used in the project are "This Little Pig" "Very Vintage" and "Petal Palette"  All the items used for this project can be found in the 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2018 Holiday Catalogue. if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call so that I might help you with your order.
