Colour Creations - Powder Pink

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3536

Hi Everyone, Here we are at week 40, and the colour is..........................Powder Pink. I do like pink as a colour but I'm not that keen on the very light pinks. but all the same it is still a pretty colour.
I decided to use the Lasting Lily stamp set for this card and I was quite happy with the results.

I stamped the flowers in Powder Pink and the leaves in Old Olive before cutting them out and mounting them on to the front of a Very Vanilla card. I used a small piece of Powder Pink card and a piece of Garden Impressions DSP along with the largest scalloped oval in Melon Mambo. I think the ribbon set off the front of the card along with the clear rhinestones.

I placed very think foam pads behind the to smaller lilies and the front leaf just to give is a small amount of height as I have put the Ovals on normal foam pads.
All of the items used in this project can be found in the 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Sale-A-Brations catalogue (Please be quick if you would like the Lasting Lily as this promotion ends on the 31st March 2019.

Colour Creations - Poppy Parade

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3513

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 39 of the colour Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Poppy Parade, what a lovely colour so vibrate, what a beautiful red. I have used the stamp set from the Sale-A-Brations catalogue 2nd addition. The set is called Painted Seasons I used the DSP from the bundle as well.

I stamped out the flowers and cut them out along with the leaves and glued the middle flower to the card base and put the other 2 flower onto diemensionals to give them more height. I also stamped out the leaves and cut them out and glued them flat to the card. I used the words from the Lasting Lily set and the corners from the Around the corner set just to finish off the front.

I added a few gems to the middle of the flowers just to add a little bling.
I stamped the insert with a row of flowers and left the rest blank so the card can be used for many different occasions.

All the items used in this project a from the Sale-A-Brations and 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase all any of the items used in this project please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Colour Creations - Pool Party

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3491
Hi Everyone,
Week 38 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop and this week our colour if Pool Party. A beautiful Aqua Marine colour sooo Pretty (Well at least I think so).
I have chosen to use the Beauty Abounds stamp set as I really do love this one. With the card that I have created this week I think it looks so pretty and delicate.

I also used the Butterfly Gala stamp set and punch as well and coloured my Butterflys using the Pool Party Marker pen and a touch of Wink of Stella. I stamped the circles and splatter marks on the card front in Pool Party and the background butterflies in Smoky Slate. I added dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and some 1/8 inch ribbon just to add that little something to the front. I finished off the front by add just 3 small rhinestones, to me it's just enough.

The insert I also matted to match the front of the card and stamped the flouish and splatter in Pool Party and the sentiment in Memento Ink. I have make this card 4 times in total, in Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, and Melon Mambo and it looks lovely in all 4 colours.
All the items used in this project are in the current 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the items used in this project please give me a call, email or PM me so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Pineapple Punch

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3399

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 37 of the Colour Creations Hop and this week the colour is Pineapple Punch. Wow what a lovely bright colour it is. But I did have trouble coming up with something I liked. In the end I settled for using the Dear Doily Bundle again and turned out this card....

It's a very simple card but I was pleased with how it turned out in the end. I started with a Basic Black card base and used the Pineapple Punch as a layer with Whisper White over the top, I then stamped the large doily in Pineapple Punch and the smaller doily in Black. I added the ribbon on the left just to brake it up a little and I think it works a treat.
I'm really loving this set and I think this card could look very pretty in many colours.

I kept the insert very plain as well. I think this was enough I didn't want to take anything away from the front.
All the items used in the project can be found in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of the items used please either give me Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.
Thank you for hopping along with me this week to catch more Pineapple Punch please head over to Catherine Page here-:

Colour Creations - Petal Pink

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3367

Hi Everyone, Here we are with Petal Pink this week. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite colours as I like a nice bright Pink myself, but it's very pretty and I love it in the card that I have made this week.

I have used Smoky Slate along with the petal pink for this card and used the DSP from the Share What you Love pack. I also used the Dear Doily Bundle and the Humming Along Stamp set for this project.
I started with a Whisper White Card Base and add my layers as I went along stamping in Petal Pink and Memento ink I cut the wreath doily from the thinlets and glued this to the front of the card, I know it is quite a simple card and muted colours but I love it.

I shaped the sentiment tag to give it some dimension as I thought it looked a little flat and boring laying down. So using my bone folder to break the fibers and then place foam pad on the back to lift it up just that little bit more. I then added the gold faceted gems to finish it off.

I added 2 layer to the inside of my card to add extra interest and stamped the doilies randomly.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these products please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Pear Pizzazz

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3341

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 35 of the Colour Creations Blog and this week the colour is Pear Pizzazz, As you all know by now green is my favourite colour so this was a not a problem for me. I chose the Beauty Abounds Bundle (150617) for this card as it will be going to the UK in their Springtime. The card design is a little unusual as well but I just loved it. I think I will have to write a tutorial for it. It came from a YOUTUBE video that I saw from the lovely lady at Mixed up Crafts, Sam.
I used a Pear Pizzazz card base and added a layer in garden green and a DSP layer using the Share what you Love paper. My Butterflies are in Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. I think these colours go very well together.

I stamped in Pear Pizzaz using the same stamp set as this card is going to my oldest friend we have been friends since we were both 5 years old and started school together. The back of the card is in 2 sections this is the 1st and now the 2nd is below.
Plenty of space to write your message that's for sure. I love that this card also folds flat and fits into an normal envelope. I'm sure that Barbara will love it, I just wish I could deliver it in person. Maybe one day in the near future this will happen.

I did add a few clear stones to the front of the card just to finish it off. At first I wasn't sure about it but as I sit and look at it I like it more and more.
All the items used for this project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. Don't forget that if you spend $90 on products you can choose a free Item for the Sale-A-Brations catalogues this offer ends on the 31st March 2019 so don't be late. Colour Creations-: Pacific Point

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3310

Hi Everyone,
Here we are again and we are already into February of 2019 Wow the last month went by so quick.
This week our colour is called Pacific Point- What a lovely colour blue this is. I just love it.
I thought I would revisit products from the Annual catalogue for my creation and I just love this card. I have made is few times now and you will also find my YOUTUBE video for this card (Different Colour) on my blog as well.

I don't think the photo's do it justice is looks heaps better in person. I started with a Whisper White Card and added the mat's for the front and insert in the Pacific Point and I did all my stamping in the same colour. I used the DSP from the Garden Impressions set and I think it picks up the colour fantastic.
I cut my Butterfly from the Abstract Impressions Bundle in Silver Foil Sheet and then I traced around it onto some Pacific Point card and hand cut this to make a solid butterfly to place behind.

I then attached this and the sentiment to the front of the card using dimensionals and added some faceted gems to the body of the butterfly. The sentiment is from the Hand Delivered stamp set by the way.

I stamped the inside of the card using the Beauty Abounds stamp set as I thought this was just such a pretty sprig and butterflies.
If you would like to purchase any or all of the products used in this project please either Call, Email or PM me so that I can help you with your Purchase.

Colour Creation - Old Olive

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3291&preview=true

Hi Everyone,
Here we are at week 33 of the Colour Creation- with another green Old Olive as you all know green is my favourite colour so this was an easy one for me.
I used the New Wonderful Romance bundle from the 2019 Occasion Catalogue (Page 11) this is such a beautiful set.

I started with an Old Olive card base and very vanilla for the top layer. I stamped my floral arrangement using the Memento Ink and then coloured in the leaved and flowers using my blender pens, in Old Olive and Highland Heather. I also stamped and coloured 2 other leaves from the same set. I ran these through the Big Shot using the coordinating dies along with the oval for the sentiment. I also ran the Very Vanilla layer of card through the Big Shot to cut out the trellis and leaves. I mounted all of this onto my card base then stamped the tiny flowers in the Highland Heather to finish it off.
I mounted my sentiment onto dimensionals before adhering this to the front of the card.

I place the smallest gem stones in the centre of the small flowers and one large stone on the sentiment to give finish off I also added Wink of Stella to the flowers in the large arrangement.
This is such a lovely card and I was really pleased with the way it turned out.

I finished off the insert with a few leaved and little flowers but I didn't colour them in.
All of the items used in this project can be found in either the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue, if you would like to purchase these items please give me either a Call, Email or PM me so that i can help you with your purchase (Australia ONLY)

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3254

Hi Everyone, Wow here we are at week 32 with Night of Navy. I do like blue and I found it quite easy to come up with a card in this colour. My card this week uses the Geared Up Garage bundle that can be found in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I'm really loving this set.

I used the Night of Navy as my base card and mat's for my car images. After stamping out the car image twice I coloured them using the Blender pens starting with the light colour and using the dark to add the highlights to the car. I then cut them into 1 inch squares and 1 1/4 inch mats. I run my Foil sheet through the Big Shot using the Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder. I glued this to the front of the card and using dimensionals on the car images added these on top of the foiled section.

I stamped tone on tone of the oil smudge stamp onto the front of the card and on the insert. I also stamped the sentiment for the front of the card onto white card and glued it to the back of the foil car emblem and trimmed to fit I then added a couple of cogs to finish off the front of the card.

After stamping the smudges on the right-hand side of the card I stamped You're a Classic and the nut as well using Night of Navy ink. I think this would make a lovely Valentines Card for that special man in your life, as I think the works on the front and insert are just perfect for that.
If you would like to purchase any or all of the items used in this project please give me a call, email or PM me so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Mossy Meadow

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3229

Hi Everyone, Here we are again with our colour creations blog-hop. This week the colour is Mossy Meadow, and as I have said before green being my favourite colour I had no problems coming up with this one.

I started off with a Mossy Meadow card base and the only 2 colours of ink I used was Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz. I used the Incredible like you stamp set (which I love) and stamped the lines down the side of white card. before added a strip of gold glimmer paper and then a strip of basic black card. I stamped the main image as full strength and the second image at second generation.

I placed the whisper white stamped up onto some dimensionals and added this to the front of the card before adding a few clear gems close to the dots.

I stamped the insert to match the strips down the right-hand side and added the little flowers at the bottom. I must admit I was very happy with how this turned out I would have thought that it would be way to dark.  I could imagine doing this card in a wide variety of colours and still have a love result.

All Items used in the project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. Don't forget that with Sale-A-Bration on from the 3rd January until the 31st March if you purchase $90 or more in products you can choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. If you would like to make a purchase I would love to help you, so please either Call, Email of PM me Thank you.

Colour Creations - Mint Macaron

http://whatcathymade.com.au/art-with-heart-colour-creation…/

Hi Everyone, Here we are back with the New Year............So Happy New Year to each and everyone of you.
This year we kick off with a lovely colour one of my favourites as I'm a green person this colour really appeals to me. I saw a Youtube video of a card very much like this but not the same so I went about changing it to fit on a regular card.

I call it the fan card for obvious reasons. I started out with a lovely Mint Macaron card base and then add the first layer using Tranquil Tide. I added another layer at the bottom of the card that I stamped using Mint Macaron Ink on Whisper White card. The stamp set I used was Pop of Petals . I stamped 2 flower from the set and coloured in and punched them out before gluing the 2 together.

I love the way this card came together and it was very easy to do. I think this will make a lovely card for the 1st birthday of the year. I used the tranquil tide ribbon for my bow (retired) .

I have kept the insert very simple as I didn't think much else was needed. All the items except the ribbon can be found in the current 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the items used in the project please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.
I will be added a tutorial for this card on my Facebook page in February 2019 as I already have my January tutorials scheduled.
