Week 31 Lemon Lime Twist - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and Welcome to week 31 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Called "Lemon Lime Twist" and I really love this colour. It a kind of bright green, and as green is my favourite colour I didn't have to try very hard to come up with a card for you all.

I started with a Lemon Lime Twist card base and added a Mossy Meadow layer and then some DSP from the Flowering Zinnias (this is an online exclusive product). I wanted to use something that I haven't used in a while so I chose the Ice Cream Swirl bundle to create a lovely Vanilla and Lime ice cream cone.

I added a piece of card to make a stick, sticking out of the ice cream with my Happy Birthday on it, and red sprinkles on the ice cream. It look so nice I had the worst craving for ice cream after......lol   I finished off the front of the card with the sequins in the same colour.

I kept the inside of the card plain and added my Mossy Meadow layer and Basic White the stamped the cherries down the left-hand side using the blends to colour them in. I just added make a wish for my sentiment.

All the items I used for this project can be found either as an online exclusive or in the 2024-25 Stampin' up! Annual catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card that I made please feel free to contact me. Likewise if you would like to purchase these product.

Week 4 - Shy Shamrock Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 4 for the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. If you are new here. our group feature all the colours of the Stampin' Up! Rainbow, in alphabetical order (except for the New incolours) These are featured first.  So here we are with Shy Shamrock. This is a very pretty green. But I did struggle a little to come up with a card for this week.

So for me I started with a Shy Shamrock card base and added a Mossy Meadow layer. Then I stamped the Leaf Collection stamp onto Basic White with Shy Shamrock ink. I then stamped the same stamp onto some more Basic White in Mossy Meadow and then fussy cut out some of the leaves. I layered these on top and added a sentiment from the Unbounded Love Bundle Using the frame dies I cut out the 1st in Mossy Meadow and the other in Basic White. Stamping in Shy Shamrock. I finished off the front of the card with a Bakers Twine bow and the very pretty 2024-26 Incolour Shimmer Gems .

I wanted to jazz up the inside of my card a little more than I usually do, so I stamped the teapot and fern from the Country Flowers Bundle and used the Shy Shamrock and Crumb Cake blends to colour in with. Then Sentiment on the inside is from the same set. I layered this onto another piece of Mossy Meadow to co-ordinate with the front of the card.

All the items used in this project can be found in the New 2024-25 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product please feel free to contact me.

Week 34 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Mossy Meadow

Hello, welcome back, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas holiday break. So we are carrying on from where we left off last year. Meaning Week 34 is Mossy Meadow week. Being a big fan of green I really didn't have much trouble coming up with this weeks project. I decided to use the New Rock Star Suite collection from the new mini Catalogue that goes live tomorrow. I was so happy to see some really male product in this new catalogue.

So I started with a Mossy Meadow card base and added a Soft Sea Foam layer and the lovely Rock & Roll DSP. This DSP is in black and white so I coloured all the guitars. I then added the large plectrum cut out of Mossy Meadow card stock. I then heat embossed the microphone and sentiment tag with Silver Embossing Powder. Placing them onto the front of the card using dimensionals. Then finishing off the front using the Adhesive backed Lighting and Stars.

I used the same layering on the inside of the card and stamped from the Rock Star Bundle in Mossy Meadow. I added the lighting to add a little more interest to the inside of the card. I had the idea for this card in my head before I had even got my order, so I was really happy that it came together just how I wanted it.

These new product can be found on page 55 of the new Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or would like to purchase them please feel free to contact me.

Week 31 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Mossy Meadow

Hello Everyone, and welcome to week 31 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week we are featuring the colour Mossy Meadow, a lovely dark green colour. So I have chosen to make a Christmas card to finish off the last of my Christmas cards for this year. I'm pretty sure I know who will get this card.

So I started with a Mossy Meadow base card and added a basic white layer I wasn't sure what style of card I was going to make. So I added my DSP Layer from the Boughs of Holly paper. But I thought it looked a little plain. So changed the card to a split front card.

And I'm glad I did. I embossed another piece of Mossy Meadow with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and then cut it to form the split section added Basic White strips along the cut edges. I then added Dimensionals (Foam Pads) to the back of these sections and attached them to the front of the card. I Cut out the Poinsettia from the same paper pack and added the sentiment from the Leaves of Holly Stamp set. Finishing the front with some Red Festive Pearls.

This has really given my card the lift that it needed. I did keep the inside very plain just added a Basic White layer and stamping in Mossy Meadow. I just didn't want to take anything away from the from of the card.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual catalogue or the 2022 July to Dec Mini Catalogue. Items in the mini catalogue will be discontinued at the end of the year. If you are interested in any of these items please feel free to contact my via email, PM or phone so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 6 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Balmy Blue

Hi and Welcome to week 6 of the colour creations blog-hop. We have now finished all of the 2022-2024 In-colors so we well be starting on the regular colours in Alphabetical order. Starting with Balmy Blue. I have chosen to do my card with a bundle that is retiring at the end of June, Called Love & Happiness.

I started my card with a Balmy Blue card base and added a Night of Navy layer. I then used a white layer to embossed with the Hybrid Embossing folder. I then used the dies to cut out the Heart from the centre. Using my blending brushes I coloured to Heart with Night of Navy Ink and the outer embossed area with Balmy Blue Ink. I place the larger section onto Dimensionals and the heart was glued down flat. I stamped my tag from the same stamp set in Night of Navy. With the flowers I stamped them onto some Basic White card using the Night of Navy Ink and then coloured them using the Balmy Blue Blends, Light and Dark. I layered these onto the front of the card. Then I Stamped the leaves from Forever Fern Set using Mossy Meadow and cut them out with the matching dies. I finished off the front with some Basic Rhinestones.

My insert was using the 2 for mentioned sets for the Sentiment and the flowers. I then coloured the flower in the same way as I did for the front of the card. Layering this onto another Night of Navy card and gluing to the inside of the card. All the items used in this project are current at the time of publication, but the Love & Happiness bundle will be retiring at the end of June 2022 so if you haven't already purchased this set and would like it please don't waste time as it is only available while stocks last. If you would like to purchases any of all of these product please feel free to contact me either by email, PM or phone.

Week 34 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pear Pizazz

Hello everyone and welcome to week 34 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. Well this week we are featuring the colour Pear Pizzazz, it's a really lovely green colour (I know I'm a bit biassed as green is my favourite colour).  But really it is a lovely green and I have coupled it with another of the greens. Mossy Meadow.  I have seen the Whitewash technique done a few different ways and I thought I want to give this a go. So here is my version of this technique.

So starting with a pear Pizzazz card base I then added a Mossy Meadow layer. I then cut a 2nd layer in Pear Pizzazz and stamped it using the Prized Peony stamp set and Mossy Meadow Ink. I then cut another layer using one of the Scalloped Contour dies and then using the Stitched Rectangles I cut another Pear Pizzazz layer that once again I stamped from the Prized Peony stamp set.
I then started to colour the stamped images using the White Craft ink pad that I squeezed onto one of my stamp block so the the ink was covering it. Using the Blender Pens that come in a pack of 3 I picked up some of the ink and started to colour in the flower petals. I did this on both stamped images. on the top image I coloured the branch using the Bronze blends pen. I that stamped my sentiment and mounted this onto another layer so that the 2 greens were together even there. I attached the sentiment and the smaller layers to the front of the card using dimensionals.
Finishing off the front of the card with the beautiful Iridescent Rhinestones and a little Wink of Stella. My insert I layered the Mossy Meadow with Basic White. I stamped another of the Prized Peony flowers in the bottom right-hand corner and left the rest of it clear without a sentiment.

I was really happy with the effect and I have since made 2 more cards using this technique in different colours. Everything used in this project except the Rhinestones can be found in the Annual 2021-2022 Catalogue. The Iridescent Rhinestone can be found in the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this technique or would like to purchase any or all of these product please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 30 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop Mossy Meadow

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year to you all. We are back to carry on with out colour creations Blog-Hop this year and at week 30 we have Mossy Meadow for you all. I have chosen to CASE a card from the Annual Catalogue (with my own twist) and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

It's a DL size card and I used the Turtle Friends Bundle, I Started with a Mossy Meadow card base and then added a Basic white layer that I first coloured with garden green and Balmy blue ink using the Blending brushes. I then stamped the grass using Mossy Meadow. I stamped my turtles in Momento Ink and then used my Blends in Mossy Meadow to colour the turtles Mossy meadow light and the Dark for the shell. I then punched them out using the Turtle Punch. I then cut out the clouds from the Give it a Whirl die set before adding my sentiment in the top left corner. I then glued the middle turtle flat and put the other 2 up on dimensionals. I finished off the front with basic rhinestones. So Cute.

The inside of the card is plain but I thought I would add the smaller turtles to the corner as a point of interest I coloured these in the same colours as the turtles on the front of the card. I know I have someone to give this card to already as they are stuck in New Zealand at the moment and wont be home in time for their birthday on the 3rd of January. They were suppose to be home on the 8th October 2021 but have been unable to get direct flights back to South Australia and with a small Baby they need to get back here, At least they have family over there to stay with until such time. Thank goodness for little mercies.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these projects please give me a call, Email or PM me so that I can help you with your purchase.

Heart of Christmas 2021 Blog-Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Heart of Christmas Blog-Hop for 2021. With the New Mini Catalogue coming out on the 3rd August 2021 and the Items in the Current 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue there are plenty of lovely sets and Papers to chose from.

I have chosen to make a card from the Tidings of Christmas Suite Featured on Page 88-89 of the Annual Catalogue. I love the papers in the suite they are just beautiful. Anyway I have chosen to make a Pop Out Fancy fold card that really showcases the paper and the Star die. My Merry Christmas is from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp set on Page 92.

I started with a Basic White Card base and added a Cherry Cobbler layer followed by the DSP I then used my layering circles to cut out a hole in the front of the card and also to make a frame from Mossy Meadow card. With my star I cut this out 3 time in white card and glued them together before cutting out another in Gold Foil and placing this over the top this really made the star stand out. I then place the Mossy Meadow background star under it so the it really Popped. I used my Cherry Cobbler blender pen to colour some basic peals for the centre of the star and the berries with the holly leave.

When you open this card the centre circle pops out inside the card and looks so pretty in Mossy Meadow followed by the DSP cut using the scalloped circle the scalloped circle and the star are both attached using dimensionals to give it more depth.

Once you pull back the inside flap it reveals the inside message and your place to write your own message. This is my 1st Christmas card for the season. So I hope like it as much as I do. All the product used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your Purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I look forward to seeing you here again.
