Colour Creations - Purple Posy

Hi Everyone, well we are at the end of our Colour Creations Blog-Hop this is very sad as I have really enjoyed the challenge of using every colour that Stampin' Up! have in there range.
And with that said we are using the Purple Posy to finish on. What a beautiful colour it is as pale and delicate. As I don't have a lot of products in this colour only card and ribbon I had a bit of a challenge to make this card but I'm very happy with the result.

 I started out with a Gorgeous Grape card base and add then Highland Heather as the 1st layer and stamped tone on tone using the Floral Essence Stamp set. I coloured the centres of the flowers with my Daffodil Delight Blender pen just to make them show up better I then place another layer of card using the Purple Posy over this and add the ribbon at the join mark. I then stamped the flower from the Floral Essence onto another strip of Purple Posy in Versa Mark and Gold Embossed before cutting them into squares again I coloured the centres of the flowers with my blender pen before using both Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather to Aqua paint the rest of the flowers to give them some depth, I mounted them on to Gorgeous Grape square and added dimensionals to the back. To finish off the front I stamped Happy Birthday from the Wonderful Moments Stamp set and flagged the end and glued this under the bow, I added some basic rhinestones to the ribbon and wink of stella to the mount flowers.

Carrying the theme to the inside of the card I stamped the flowers again and Gold Embossed them as well as Aqua painted them I them mounted the Purple Posy on to Highland Heather to match the outside of the card.

Colour Creations - Seaside Spray

Hi  Everyone, This week we have the 4th of the new 2019-2021 In colours and this one is called "Seaside Spray" it's such a lovely colour blue pale and pretty all in one. I know I wont have any problems using this colour.

Today I have used the Free as a bird stamp set and DSP for this card as well as doing some water colouring.

I started my card using a Night of Navy card base and added the Seaside Spray to the top of the card after stamping the small flower for the Free as a Bird stamp set as a tone on tone I then added the DSP to the bottom of the card and place the new ribbons in the same colour to the middle making a bow. I cut my ovals from the layering ovals set and stamped the birds onto the white card. I then stamped the sentiment onto the smaller white oval and mounted them onto dimensionals I then added one of the leaf trinkets and small pearls to finish off the front of the card.

I mounted my white insert onto some more Seaside Spray card and stamped the flowers and leaves I them water coloured these as well.

Colour Creation - Berry Burst

Wow Week 4 Berry Burst, what a lovely colour part of the 2017-2019 In Colours set.
I have made a card and small box using this colour, along with using the Eastern Beauty Stamp set and Eastern Medallions Thinlits.

 

Using Whisper white for my main card and Berry Burst for the front  I cut out the medallion using the Eastern Medallion Thinlits and I framed the medallion but cutting out the scalloped layering circles and the normal layering circles for make a frame for the front of the card. I embellished the card using Berry Burst Metallic edge ribbon and basic pearls.

  I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp set the used the 11/2 circle punch and mounted it on dimensionals and place in the centre of the medallion.
