Week 35 Misty Moonlight - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome, Also Happy New Year. We are starting off 2025 with Misty Moonlight this is the next colour in Alphabetical order in our Blog-Hop. Misty Moonlight is a lovely dusty blue colour and I like it a a lot. I have chosen to use the lovely Countryside Inn DSP for this card as I think it goes really well. My card is called a French Door card. I have also used the lovely Country Birdhouse dies and the Unbounded Love stamp set for this project.

I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and then used the DSP to form the main card. I cut away the 2 top corners of the DSP and glued them to the bottom to add more strength, and give the illusion that to bottom is also cut away. I then added 3 square layers to the front and the flowers from the Country Birdhouse dies.

Only gluing the squares to the left-hand side of the card. I finished off the front with some little gems. My insert is just a single layer of Basic White. I did cut this a tiny bit smaller than usual so that you can see the other side of the DSP nicely.

I think this is a lovely card and a great way to use some of the DSP to make the main part of the card. All the items used in this project are current items and can be found either in the Annual Catalogue or on the Online Exclusives. If you would like to know more about these product please feel free to contact me.

Week 3 - Pretty in Pink Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 3 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring Pretty in Pink. This is one of the 2024-26 Incolors and I think this is a really lovely pink. I have chosen to make a card for the Tradie Ladies, and am so happy with how it turned out.

I started with a Pretty in Pink card base, and added a Misty Moonlight layer followed by the DSP called Country Woods. I then cut out the peg board from the Trusty Tools bundle and cut this into sections and layered onto so more Misty Moonlight card stock. I then stamped some of the tools from the same set and coloured them with my Pretty in Pink Blends. using the dies to cut them out I then arranged the peg board and tools some glued flat to the card and other on dimensionals. I finished off the front of the card with a sentiment from the same set and the new Incolor Resin Dots.

For the insert I layered my Basic white onto Misty Moonlight card after stamping. I stamped the Paint Brush top and bottom of the page and coloured with Pretty in Pink ink. I stamped my sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set.

All the items used in my project this week can be found in the 2024-25 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product please feel free to contact me so that I might help you.

Week 33 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Misty Moonlight

Hi Everyone, welcome to week 33 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, and the last one in 2023. But we will be back 3rd January 2024 to carry on the rest of the colours. So this week we are featuring Misty Moonlight, this is a Neutrals collection colour. This is a pretty blue and goes really nicely with lots of other colours in the Stampin' Up! range. I have chosen a stamp set from the Online store, called Feathered Flight to showcase this colour.

So I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and added a Balmy Blue layer and then the DSP from the Countryside Inn pack (I love this paper). The one that I chose has birds on it and I thought wit went with the stamp set. I then added another Balmy Blue layer with a Basic White for my Stamping. I stamped in Misty Moonlight. I added dimensionals for the back of these layers and attached off set for extra interest. Finishing off the from with Iridescent Rhinestones.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card using Balmy Blue and Basic White, and Stamping in Misty Moonlight. I don't know who this card will end up going to at this stage. But I'm sure they will like it. I know that Hubby (Shane) and Paul liked it very much.

All the card stock used in this project can be found in the Annual 2023-24 Stampin' Up! Catalogue, the stamp set can be found in the Online store and is only available while stocks last. If you would like to more about these product please feel free to contact me.

Week 33 colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pacific Point

Hello Everyone and Welcome to week 33 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring the colour Pacific Point. This is a colour from the Brights Collections and is a beautiful rich blue.  I have chosen to feature this colour using the Friends are like Seashells Bundle on page 27 of the Annual Catalogue. I must admit I purchased this set awhile ago but never got around to using it. I also have used a Sale-A-Bration item Simply Marbleous DSP. So I started with a Basic White card base and added my Pacific Point layer and the Simply Marbleous DSP in the Balmy Blue. I then cut out the large seashell die and stamped my images onto the cut out using Pacific Point, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive and Calypso Coral. I then used my blending brushes to colour the leafy area with Soft Sea Foam. After that I used the Embossing folder to add texture to the die cut image, it really pops. Then I mounted this onto the front of my card using dimensionals. I added my sentiment and so star fish, to finish off the front I used Wink of Stella on the seashells to give that wet look.

My inside of the that is also layered with Pacific Point and Basic White I stamped in the feature colour and added a couple of reeds and shells to the bottom left-hand corner.

All the items for this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, with the exception of the Sale-A-Bration DSP which is only available until the 28th February 2022 for FREE with a $90AU order. Week 29 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Misty Moonlight

Hello Everyone, and welcome to the last Colour Creations Blog-Hop for 2021. No this isn't the end of our Colour Creations Blog-Hop we will be back on the 5th January 2022 with the next colour.
But for this week we are doing Misty Moonlight as our colour. This in one of the 2020-2022 In Colors and a very pretty dusty blue.
I have chosen to do mine using all products from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue.  So I have started with a Basic White card Base and added a Misty Moonlight Layer, then a DSP layer from the Simply Elegant specialty paper pack. I then used the Color & Contour Bundle for my Scalloped layer and topped it with more Basic White. I used the same stamp set and stamped my flowers using Misty Moonlight Ink and finished off the front with some Basic Rhinestones.

I didn't know how the flowers were going to look stamped in Misty Moonlight but the surprisingly look nice to me. My insert as always is very simple with just a Misty Moonlight layer with a Basic White layer over the top and Stamped in Misty Moonlight. I popped  a small bud in the bottom left-hand corner just to take the plainness out of it.

I originally I had done this card in Melon Mambo. But as I was away when that colour came up I decided to see what it would look like in the Misty Moonlight as I like it. All the products used in this weeks project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these products please feel free to give me a call, PM or email so that I can help you with your purchase.
