Week 34 Melon Mambo - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 34 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop and the last one for 2024, we will be back on the 8th of January 2025 to finish off all the rest of the lovely colours that we haven't featured yet. But as for today we are featuring Melon Mambo. A really bright pink colour and it's a happy colour for me. I thought I would make a Shaker card this time as it's not something I do very often.

So I started with a Melon Mambo card base and I added a DSP layer in Balmy Blue from the Beautiful Bokeh 6 x 6 inch Pack (this is part of the Beautiful Butterflies Suite Collection.) I then run the Basic White layer through the die cut machine using the Starstruck Embossing folder from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. (Available from the 7th January 2025) I then used a brush to colour it with Melon Mambo ink. After that I cut out a square aperture from this piece of card. I placed the Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix on the card and added a piece of Window Sheet and the Dimensional Strips to hold them in place. I finished off the front of the card using the Medium Sized Butterflies from the Same suite, along with the sentiment tag and sentiment. I added the Sequins from the online exclusives to finish off the front.

I kept the inside the same as the front using the DSP as my layer and then the Basic White. I stamped in Melon Mambo. The blue and pinks in the Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix really work well and bring out the colours from both the papers and Mix. If you would like to know more about these product (that will be available from the 7th of January until the 5th May 2025) please feel free to contact me.

Week 2 - Petunia Pop Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome, Sorry I couldn't join you all last week for the start, as I was away. But here I am with week 2. So this week we are featuring another of the 2024-2026 Incolor range called Petunia Pop. I love this colour I can see me using it quite a bit.

For me I wanted to do a project that would also feature the new Bundle called Hearts & Hugs. This is such a cute bundle. So I used the arms stretched hamster.

This is called a Pull Tab card. such a lovely idea. Starting with a Petunia Pop Card base I then added a Melon Mambo layer. I then cut a slit into my DSP so that I could make the pull tab. Then attaching my image to the end of the tab, and ribbon to the other end. placing dimensionals on the back of the DSP so that the tab will move.

Once you pull the tab you can see the message underneath. I am loving this style of card and have made a few already for my Facebook group and YOUTUBE channel. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card with another Hamster leaving plenty of room for writing a message as well. I coloured both the Hamster using Crumb Cake blends. This is what I would call a happy card.

All the items used in this project can be found in the New 2024-25 Annual Catalogue that went live on the 1st May 2024. I'm looking forward to being able to show more of the new product and some of the carrying over product over the coming weeks - Months. If you would like to know more about these product or my card design please feel free to contact me.

Wewk 32 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Melon Mambo

Hi Everyone and welcome to week 32 of the colour creations blog-hop. Only one more week to go before me have a little break for the Christmas season. But until then here we are with this weeks feature colour Melon Mambo. Part of the brights collection I love this colour as it's really a lovely bright and cheery colour. I have chosen to make a card from the new online store products this one being "Simply Sparkling" I liked this set right from the first time I saw it and couldn't wait for it to come out. This is my card.

I started with a Melon Mambo card base and stamped around the edge using Melon Mambo ink and the Simply Sparkling bundle. I then added the Deckled rectangles in Basic White and Melon Mambo. Stamping once again in Melon Mambo. I added the drink can and some extra bubbles. Finishing off with a Birthday message and the straw. So that the can is open and ready to drink.

I followed the same theme over to the inside of the card using the deckled rectangles and the stamping around the edge. Finishing with a bit of a splash at the bottom of the card.

All the items used in the project are current at the time of being published the card stock and ink can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and the Simply Sparkling bundle can be found in the Online store. If you would like to know more about these product or the design, please feel free to contact me.

Week 32 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Night of Navy

Hello and welcome to week 32 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our feature colour is called Night of Navy, and as the name suggests this colour is a lovely Navy Blue. So I thought I would make a lovely stepper card to show off all of the lovely colours.

I started with Night of Navy for the card base and I added Melon Mambo and using Hues of Happiness DSP to show up all of the squares on this card. I also added the same layers to the square on the top of the steps and on the back of the card.

I finished off my card front with a flower from the same DSP and stamped Friend from that matching stamp set. popping these all up of the lovely Decorative Circle Punch and the Double Oval Punch. the embellishments are from the Glossy Dots Assortment. On the back of the card I added a larger square for my writing panel. All the stamping was done in Night of Navy. This card folds flat and will fit into a regular envelope.

All the products used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or the card, please feel free to contact me via email, Phone or PM so that I can help you.

Week 28 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Melon Mambo

Hugs Diane xx
Hello and welcome to week 28 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this week our feature colour is called Melon Mambo. It's a beautiful bright pink, and one of my favourite colours in the Stampin' Up! range. I have chosen a lovely fancy fold card this week to show case this colour. it's called a Diamond faceted easel card. I think this card really does bring out the best in these colours.

I started with a Melon Mambo card base and my layers are Granny Apple Green and the beautiful Hues of Happiness DSP. I also stamped the inside of the card using the matching stamp set for the outline of the flowers stamped in Melon Mambo. Finishing off the side stopper for the easel with the lovely Bufferfly Brilliance dies and Gold foil card. I also used the lovely Glossy Dots Assortment.

Where do you write your personal message I hear you ask? well that is done on the back of the card. As this is a 5 3/4 inch (14.6cm) card I added a writing panel to the back of the card, with plenty of space to write.

This card does lay flat and fits into a 6in (15.2cm) square envelope. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card design please feel free to contact me via - email, PM or phone.

Week 25 - Colour Creations Showcase - Melon Mambo

 Week 25 Melon Mambo

Hello and welcome to week 25 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Showcase. This week our colour is Melon Mambo another of my favourite colours and part of the Brights Collections.

I had seen this snow drift scene done a few times and thought I would like to give this a try. So I set about doing this. My first attempt was in Pool Party and Pretty Peacock and the 2nd was in Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight both turned out pretty good. So I decided I would try Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo. As you can see I did one with a Melon Mambo card base and the other Whisper White. The stamp sets I used for the trees were Perfectly Plaid and Winter Woods. I couldn't believe how pretty the trees look in pink (who would have guessed).
I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp set using Memento Black ink and added Wink of Stella over the trees to make them sparkle.

Because when I stamped my snow drift scene a started with a piece of card that measured 5 7/8 x 8 1/4 inches, after cutting it down to make the fronts I had a piece left over so I added this to the inside of the card. I was surprised just how easy this technique really is to create and I love it and plan to make some more cards in different colour combos. All the items used in this project are in the 2020-2021 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any of these items please give me a call, email or PM so that I might help you. Please head over to Catherine's Page here-: to catch up with all the other lovely Melon Mambo Creations for this weeks Showcase.

Colour Creations - Shaded Spruce

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3676

Hi everyone, here we are at week 45 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop only 5 more weeks to go. Wow where has this year gone.
Today our colour is Shaded Spruce and beautiful green colour and as green is my favourite colour I didn't find it hard to come up with a project. I chose to use the Tropical Chic stamp set and dies along with the matching DSP for this card. I also used a fancy fold to show case this card.
I started with a Granny Apple green card and the shaded spruce is in the DSP and the ink used to stamp the leaves.I stamped my leaves onto Granny Apple Green card before cutting them out and my flowers were stamped in Melon Mambo. I'm so glad that all of what I used will be carrying over into the 2019 - 2020 Annual Catalogue.
I used the layering square dies for the front of my card and the stitched rectangles for my sentiment.

I placed my Square on to dimensionals to give it more depth, but i glued the leaves on flat and then used more dimensionals for the sentiment.
I stamped more leaves on the writing panel on the back of the card. I will be writing a tutorial for this card on my FACEBOOK Group so keep an eye out for it in early May. (Probably Mother's Day Sunday) All the items used in the project are in the current 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and will be carrying over to the new 2019-2020 Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the items used here please give me a call, email or PM me so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Melon Mambo

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-28-melon-mambo/
Hi Everyone, This week is Melon Mambo week I love this colour, I really am a person who loves pink and this is such a beautiful pink colour.

I have made 2 cards this week using the same stamp set. "Abstract Impressions" this is a really lovely set as well.

For my 1st card used the Melon Mambo card base and some Whisper White at the top and stamped my images in 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation stamping I also added some DSP at the bottom from the Garden Impression pack and I used some love ribbon to finish off the front of the card.

The inside was just some simple stamping.
My 2nd card was using the Melon Mambo card base also.

This time I added 2 layers to the front of the card and then an scalloped oval using the last of my last years Sale-abration glimmer paper I used the same stamp set and once again I stamped 1st and 2nd generation. I added the butterfly with some plain pearls and my little happy birthday to finish it off. The inside was very similar to the other card just different words.
All the items except the glimmer paper and butterfly can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of these items please call or email me so that I can help you with your purchase.

Colour Creation - Call Me Clover

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-9-call-me-clover/
Hi Everyone, Week 9 of the blog hop, wow where is the time going. This week the colour is "Call Me Clover" a beautiful green (I'm bias as green is my favourite colour). I have used the Bokeh Dots Stamp Set as my background, and I'm loving this set. So versatile.
I used a piece of Call Me Clover Card Stock and layered it with Melon Mambo and Whisper White. Stamped the Bokeh Dots stamps twice and cut around them and layered these also onto the front of the card. Before stamping out the images from the Healing Hugs Stamp Set and cutting them out as well, and placing them on dimentionals.
I then layered some more card stock on the inside of the card and stamped my sentiment on the whisper white layer and glued this into place.
All the items used in this project are in the 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these products please give me a call. I would love to help you.
Hugs Diane.
