Colour Creations - Pear Pizzazz

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3341

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 35 of the Colour Creations Blog and this week the colour is Pear Pizzazz, As you all know by now green is my favourite colour so this was a not a problem for me. I chose the Beauty Abounds Bundle (150617) for this card as it will be going to the UK in their Springtime. The card design is a little unusual as well but I just loved it. I think I will have to write a tutorial for it. It came from a YOUTUBE video that I saw from the lovely lady at Mixed up Crafts, Sam.
I used a Pear Pizzazz card base and added a layer in garden green and a DSP layer using the Share what you Love paper. My Butterflies are in Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. I think these colours go very well together.

I stamped in Pear Pizzaz using the same stamp set as this card is going to my oldest friend we have been friends since we were both 5 years old and started school together. The back of the card is in 2 sections this is the 1st and now the 2nd is below.
Plenty of space to write your message that's for sure. I love that this card also folds flat and fits into an normal envelope. I'm sure that Barbara will love it, I just wish I could deliver it in person. Maybe one day in the near future this will happen.

I did add a few clear stones to the front of the card just to finish it off. At first I wasn't sure about it but as I sit and look at it I like it more and more.

Colour Creations - Grapefruit Grove

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-22-grapefruit-grove/

Hi Everyone, Here we are at Grapefruit Grove Week: not sure of this colour, it is a beautiful colour but not one I think I would use very much.

I have chosen to use the Grapefruit Grove as my base card and added a Whisper White layer and then another layer in the Grapefruit Grove. Before added more layers on the top.
With the DSP from the Share What You Love Suite, and one of the pearl doilies.

I Finished the front of the card by stamping in Grapefruit Grove ink and adding some pearls in the same colour.

I kept the insert very simple so that the card can be used for many an occasion as I don't have any female birthdays coming up until next year now.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call or email. Details can be found at the top of my blog.

Colour Creations - Early Espresso

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-16-early-espresso/

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 16 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week the colour is Early Espresso, I Love this colour so many things you can use brown on. My card this week is a novelty card. I think this card would be great for any Chocolate lover Male or Female, Young or Young at Heart.

I made this card using a Crumb Cake base card with a Very Vanilla insert. All stamping was done in Early Espresso ink. I cut my little squares to form the chocolate pieces from the Early Espresso in three sizes 1" 3/4" and 1/2" and layered them on top of each other before adding them to another piece of Early Espresso card stock to make it look like a slab of chocolate.

I then ripped a piece of aluminium foil to look like the foil the chocolate comes in before using a piece of D.S.P. from the "Share what you love" collection for the wrapper.

I stamped my sentiments and brushed the edges with Early Espresso ink to finish off my card. unfortunately the stamp set of the cones is now retired but all other items in this project are in the current 2018 -2019 annual catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the products please contact me so that i might help you with your purchase.
I will be posting the tutorial for this card on my Facebook group on Sunday the 16th September why not join my group "Di's Den for Stamping Crafting and Tutorials" hope to see you there.
To catch up with all the other Early Espresso hoppers please go to Catherine's page Here.
