Week 50 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Soft Suede

Hi Everyone and Bye Everyone, This is the last 2022-2023 Blog Hop. So sad to see us come to the end of year. But with so many new and returning colours I'm sure we will have lots of fun next time around. Well we are finishing off the year with a colour that is retiring as well Soft Suede, a bit sad as this is a colour that I like when making male cards. But I'm sure there will be more to choices coming up. Soft Suede is a lovely brown that always look as though it's been brushed to me. So I thought I would send this one off with a bang. I was looking for inspiration and saw something similar in the mini Catalogue so I took elements for the cards and came up with my version.

I started with the Soft Suede and added a Crumb Cake Layer and then the DSP from the Legendary Ride Bundle. I then cut out the bike, jacket, gloves helmet and bag from the DSP and added them to the Circle that I cut out from the Stylish Shapes dies. I then cut out the tag as well from the same die set. Stamping them both with Soft Suede and the layering the cut out onto the circle. I'm glad the Stylish Shapes and the Legendary Ride sets are carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue. I finished off the front using the dot from the same set.

I will be giving this one to my dad for his birthday in June, he will be turning 90. I know he will love it. But his probably a little biased.....lol   I layered the inside with Crumb Cake and Basic White and Stamped my message and the spanners.

Except for the DSP,  embellishments and Soft Suede Card and Ink pad all other items used in this project will be carrying over. This other items will be while stock lasts or until the end of the Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this projects or the items used please feel free to contact me via email, phone or PM so that I can help you.

Week 49 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Soft Succulent

Wow here we are with only one more week of the 2022-2023 Colour Creations Blog-Hop, where has the year gone? So we are featuring a colour that will retire it is one of the 2021-2023 Incolors called Soft Succulent. It's a really pretty pale green and as green is my favourite  colour I will be sad to see it go. But with so many new colours coming with the new catalogue I'm sure I will get over it soon. I saw this card design done by a US demonstrator called Susan Campfield and with her permission I have created my version with Australian sizes.

It's called a Seagull card and I love this design. I have made mine using Soft Succulent for the base card and added Early Espresso layer and the lovely He's the Man DSP. This card will be great to add to my stash for them men as I really have been trying to make more male cards this year. I also added a writing panel to the back of my card as Susan hadn't done this.

Unfortunately all of these product will be retiring so If you would like any or them you will have to be quick as it's first come first serve. when they are gone they are gone for ever :(

If I can help you with a purchase of these product please feel free to contact me via Phone, email or PM.

Week 48 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Soft Sea Foam

Hello and Welcome to week 48 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour if Soft Sea Foam. It's a very pretty Pale Green colour and one I don't use enough. I hope it is not one that will go with the colour refresh.  I have chosen to make a Lattice card. These seem to be all the rage at the moment.

I started with a Soft Sea Foam card base for this one and added Garden Green layers. I cut my lattice card out as I thought it was made from the photos I had seen. I added a DSP layer from the Tea Boutique DSP. My flowers are from the Celebrate Sunflower Stamp set and dies. I stamped my Flowers and coloured them using Soft Sea Foam blends Light & Dark and then added Daffodil Delight Light over the top. I Stamped my sentiment tag and used the Happy Labels Punch on the edges. Finishing off with Opal Rounds.

I was surprised at how stable the card was having half the front cut away. But I must say it is very effective. My insert was just the Garden Green layer with Basic white. Stamping my insert message high up in the card so that it didn't show through the lattice.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project or the products used please feel free to contact me via email, PM or Phone.

Week 47 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - So Saffron

Hello and Welcome to the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. Only 3 more week to go and we have finished all the colours in the 2022-2023 Annual catalogue. Wow I wonder what beautiful new colours we will have coming up soon. Along with a Colour fresh, which usually see's some of the more popular old colours return. That should be fun. But today we are featuring So Saffron. It's a powdery Yellow not a colour a go for very often. But I hope I did it justice.  I decided to make a card and matching gift box. So I started with a So Saffron Base for both the card and box. For the card I added a Basic white layer that I Embossed using the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing folder.  I then coloured the fruit using my Blending brushes and So Saffron and Parakeet Party ink. Then placing a DSP layer from the Tea Boutique Papers. I finished off the front of the card using the Lovely Sweet Citrus Bundle. (I love fruit stamps) Adding a bow using the Parakeet Party ribbon and the 2021-2023 Opal Rounds. That will be retiring at the end of April.

I made my little gift box to match the front of the card. I will fill this with sherbet Lemons. YUM.... For the inside of my card I just added a Basic White Layer that I stamped with the Lemons and added my Sentiment. All the Lemons are stamped using So Saffron ink.

The fruit look as though they have all been thrown up in the air. I like that look. All Items using in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue and the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project or the products used please feel free to contact me via email, Phone or PM.
