Week 33 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Misty Moonlight

Hi Everyone, welcome to week 33 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, and the last one in 2023. But we will be back 3rd January 2024 to carry on the rest of the colours. So this week we are featuring Misty Moonlight, this is a Neutrals collection colour. This is a pretty blue and goes really nicely with lots of other colours in the Stampin' Up! range. I have chosen a stamp set from the Online store, called Feathered Flight to showcase this colour.

So I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and added a Balmy Blue layer and then the DSP from the Countryside Inn pack (I love this paper). The one that I chose has birds on it and I thought wit went with the stamp set. I then added another Balmy Blue layer with a Basic White for my Stamping. I stamped in Misty Moonlight. I added dimensionals for the back of these layers and attached off set for extra interest. Finishing off the from with Iridescent Rhinestones.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card using Balmy Blue and Basic White, and Stamping in Misty Moonlight. I don't know who this card will end up going to at this stage. But I'm sure they will like it. I know that Hubby (Shane) and Paul liked it very much.

All the card stock used in this project can be found in the Annual 2023-24 Stampin' Up! Catalogue, the stamp set can be found in the Online store and is only available while stocks last. If you would like to more about these product please feel free to contact me.

Hi Everyone and welcome to week 32 of the colour creations blog-hop. Only one more week to go before me have a little break for the Christmas season. But until then here we are with this weeks feature colour Melon Mambo. Part of the brights collection I love this colour as it's really a lovely bright and cheery colour. I have chosen to make a card from the new online store products this one being "Simply Sparkling" I liked this set right from the first time I saw it and couldn't wait for it to come out. This is my card.

I started with a Melon Mambo card base and stamped around the edge using Melon Mambo ink and the Simply Sparkling bundle. I then added the Deckled rectangles in Basic White and Melon Mambo. Stamping once again in Melon Mambo. I added the drink can and some extra bubbles. Finishing off with a Birthday message and the straw. So that the can is open and ready to drink.

I followed the same theme over to the inside of the card using the deckled rectangles and the stamping around the edge. Finishing with a bit of a splash at the bottom of the card.

Week 31 of the 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Lost Lagoon

Hello all and welcome to my Blog. Sorry I have been away awhile but my leg (from the knee replacement) has really set me back more than I thought it would. Anyway here we are with week 31 and our feature colour is Lost Lagoon.  So I thought I would make a Birthday card for my Husband Shane who's birthday is on the 20th of December. This is what I came up with.

it's called a Pop up Aperture card. and this is the front view. No that's not a mistake at the bottom where the crease is, that's how it's suppose to look. So I started with a Lost Lagoon card base and added Basic White layers and the DSP from the Bright and Beautiful collection. I stamped and cut out using the He's All That bundle from the Annual Catalogue.

But when you open the card you get this lovely aperture in the pop up section. This really brings the card to life. I know that Shane is going to love me card so I'm happy. All the items used in this project are from the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or the Card design please feel free to contact me.

Week 25 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Garden Green

Hello and welcome to week 25 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Garden Green, and as green is my favourite colour I really didn't find it hard to work with. But I did see the card style that I made for this project on Pinterest and I thought I'm going to give this one a try. I don't know what they called it and there wasn't any name for me to give credit to. So I'm calling it an inside Flip card.

Well I purchased this set back at the beginning of the Mini catalogue and I had a few idea's about what I wanted to do with it and this was one of them. This set is called Warmest Heart Bundle. I love these little thermos's they are so cute. Anyway I stamped them in Bubble Bath and Garden Green to match the DSP and but out the 3 thermos's colouring the cup on the top so that it looked rounded.  I added my Garden Green layer to a Basic White card base and added the DSP from the Delightfully Eclectic papers. Finishing off the front of the card with a sentiment from the same bundle.

But the magic of this card happens when you open it. You have these lovely 3 flaps inside that move with the card. I also added the Garden Green layers to the inside of the card and stamped the flowers, again from the same bundle. But I added more DSP to the flaps to add some extra interest.

As you can seen the flaps can be seen from any angle when the card is being displayed. If you would like to know more about this card design or the product that have been used please feel free to contact me. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue and the 2023 Mini Catalogue.

Week 24 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Fresh Freesia

Hello and welcome to week 24 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our feature colour is Fresh Freesia. A beautiful pale lilac colour and I love it. I have chosen to also feature the lovely Deckled Circles from the mini catalogue as well. As I think the to go together really well.

I love rocker cards and I thought this would be a lovely colour to do this with. I started with a Fresh Freesia card base, that I cut out using the largest deckled circles dies and then added a Night of Navy layer followed by a DSP layer from the  Delightfully Eclectic pack. I folded the first circle in half and then cut the other 2 layers in half. I then added 3 more circles for the topper in Fresh Freesia, Night of Navy and Basic White. Using the Happy Birthday die from the Wanted to Say set and the flowers made from the Paper Florist set. to decorate the front of my card.

Finishing off the centre of the flowers with Iridescent gems and some Wink of Stella.

My insert was layered with Night of Navy and Basic White and stamped with a message from the Pansy Patch stamp set. All of these colours go together so well I love the way it turned out. All items used in this project are from the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and the Deckled Circles are from the 2023 Mini Catalogue. I really hope they will carry these circles over into the next Annual Catalogue I think as more people see how many dies there are and how many lovely project they can make they will want them.

If you would like to know more about these prodcuts used or you would like to purchase them please feel free to contact me via email, PM or phone. So that I might help you.

Week 23 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Flirty Flamingo

Hello and welcome to week 23 of the colour creations blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Flirty Flamingo, I don't know why but I rarely use this colour. It's a kind of Orange/Pink and I find it very hard to work with. But here is my card of this week.

I started with a Basic White card base and added the Flirty Flamingo layer and the DSP called Stargazing. As this had some lovely Flirty Flamingo images on it. I then added my sentiment tag using Basic White and Flirty Flamingo and stamped in Memento Black ink. I also stamped the Astronaut from the Reach for the Stars Bundle. I stamped her in Flirty Flamingo so you know it's a She. I cut her out using the matching dies and attached her to the front of the card with dimensionals. Finishing off the front of the card with some iridescent gems.

I layered some more Flirty Flamingo card onto a Basic White so that I stamp another image of the Astronaut with some stars and message on the inside. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or would like to purchase them, Please feel free to contact me. Via email, PM or phone. So that I might help you.

Week 22 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Early Espresso

Hello and welcome to week 22 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our feature colour is Early Espresso and I really do like this dark brown colour very much.

I have chosen to make a Christmas card using the lovely Night Divine Bundle from the 2023 Mini Catalogue.  I started with an Early Espresso card base and added a Crumb Cake layer that I embossed using the Snowflake Sky 3d Embossing folder. I then run my White ink pad down the card so that the snow would show up nicely. Then using the  Basic Borders dies I cut out some in Early Espresso and Copper Clay for form the ground. Stamping some background. I then used the dies from the Night Divine bundle to make the nativity scene.

I added a little bit of darkness behind the star for that it looked more like it was shining. I also gold embossed the Joy & Peace in gold Embossing powder.

I placed my camel on the inside of the card as if he is waiting . This is such a lovely bundle I can see plenty of years of use out of this one. All the items used in this project are in either the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue or the 2023 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or would like to purchased them please feel free to contact, via phone, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 21 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Dafffodil Delight

Hello and Welcome to week 21 of the colour creations Blog-hop. This week we are featuring Daffodil Delight. another Yellow colour but this one is a really lovely bright Yellow. I thought that it would go really nice with the Construction Zone Stamp Set. so here is my Card.

I started with a Basic White card base, not that you can see it. and I added Basic Black and Daffodil delight strips that I cut at 3/4 inch wide and glue them to the front of the card on the diagonal. I then cut out the centre front with the Countryside Corner dies. I then cut out another set to make the frame around the opening in the front of my card. I placed the piece that I cut out from the front onto the inside of my card and added my sentiment to this section instead of the front. I then stamped the forklift and mixer truck coloured them and hand cut them out along with the witches hats.  I then made this card into a Tent Fold as I wanted to add my truck and forklift to the inside of the card.

So I folded another piece of white card and stamped the inner base to look like gravel I used the stamp from the Oceanfront set for this. I then glue this section to the card and added my trucks and forklifts to the inside and front. I stamped the arrows around the edge to add a little more interest. I placed my writing panel onto the back of the card.

I added a Daffodil delight layers and then using one of the scrap pieces of strips I drew lines on the diagonal and coloured the black section with my Basic Black Marker Pen. I only had to do around the edges as I added the Basic white writing panel. Finishing off the panel with another forklift and workman. I really love the way this card turned out, it really does look like a work zone.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to purchase these product please contact me via Email, Phone or PM so that I might help you with your purchase.

Week 20 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Crushed Curry

Hello and welcome to week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour if Crushed Curry and as the name implies this is a rich mustard Yellow. It's not one of my go to colours, but it's still a lovely rich colour. This week I have chosen to make a Never Ending card with a difference. I'm also using the Stargazing Suite. I love this Suite.

Okay this is my card at 1st glance it really doesn't look like much, but it will stand up and I have made this as a really large card at 8 x 8 inches. But it could very easily be sized down. I used the lovely DSP that goes with the suite along with the dies. So starting with a Crushed Curry base scored and cut my card  before added the DSP layers. when you fold this card through it's Never Ending sequence you get to see the other elements on the card.

So 1st you fold the top back and then the bottom. Now fold the sides back and you end up with a triangle shape.

From there you fold the bottom down and you get a Christmas Tree Shape, then the top back. This is where you get to see the spaceman and Ship. once you have fold the side back you and turn the card over to see the back and the writing panel. This is a little different to the regular sort of Never Ending card but I thought I would give it a go. Even though it's a flat piece of card it will stand on it's own. I cut out a few stars from the Silver Fold card to use as embellishments on the back sky areas of the card.

All of the product used in this can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this design or the product used, please feel free to contact me via Email, Phone or PM. So that I might help you with your purchase.
