Hi All, here we are at week 7 of the Heart of Christmas Blog-Hop. My project this week is more of a classic look card. Simple in design but I think you will like it.

I started with a Real Red card base and added a Whisper white layer that I run through my Big Shot using the Cable Knit Embossing folder. I then added 3 banners in different lengths that I had flagged the end using the Triple Banner Punch. I stamped my Noel and Holly Leaves using the "Peaceful Poinsettia" Bundle and coloured in the holly before die cutting them out using the matching dies and stitched ovals and layering ovals. I then punched out a couple of sprig using the Sprig Punch in Glimmer paper. I mounted my sentiment on Dimensionals and placed the sprigs behind on the left-hand side and the holly leaves on the right.

I then added an insert in Whisper white and stamped the pine leaves and sentiment in real red and tranquil tide ink.

Colour Creations - Flirty Flamingo

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-17-flirty-flamingo/

Hi Everyone, this week is Flirty Flamingo week. Yep it's kind of a rich pinky colour, really pretty.
I thought I would combined a few sets here because for me this colour reminds me of pigs.

So I have used the "This Little Pig" stamp set and I used my blender pen to colour in the image from my ink pad (not Blender pens). I started with a Whisper White card base and added a Flirty Flamingo layer along with Tropical Escape D.S.P. I then stamped tone on tone using the "Very Vintage" stamp set. (Hostess set). I die cut out my pig image using the layering circles and run this through my Big Shot along with a piece of Shaded Spruce card to put behind it.
I used the Classic Label punch to punch out the sentiment and then layered this onto another piece of Shaded Spruce and trimmed this to put a small boarder around it. I them punched out 2 sprig from the Sprig Punch and I mounted both the image and sentiment to the from of the card using Dimensionals.
I added a small pearl from the artisan pearls and then used my Wink of Stella on the pig to give him a big of a shimmer.

I layered up my inserts using Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White, before stamping my sentiment and a few clouds . The stamp sets used in the project are "This Little Pig" "Very Vintage" and "Petal Palette"  All the items used for this project can be found in the 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2018 Holiday Catalogue. if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call so that I might help you with your order.

I have used a crumb cake card base then added a gold foil sheet layer before the Very Vanilla layer. I stamped one set of the village using the Early Espresso ink and then I die cut another village from gold foil sheet and layered it over the top and slightly down so that both could be seen. I added the start using silver glimmer paper and then stamped my sentiment on the left hand side. I then stamped and die cut the Mary and Joseph figures and mounted them on dimensionals. I then stamped some more stars for the sky.

I added an insert in Very Vanilla card stock and stamped this using the same Early Espresso ink as for the front of the card.

Colour Creations - Early Espresso

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-16-early-espresso/

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 16 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week the colour is Early Espresso, I Love this colour so many things you can use brown on. My card this week is a novelty card. I think this card would be great for any Chocolate lover Male or Female, Young or Young at Heart.

I made this card using a Crumb Cake base card with a Very Vanilla insert. All stamping was done in Early Espresso ink. I cut my little squares to form the chocolate pieces from the Early Espresso in three sizes 1" 3/4" and 1/2" and layered them on top of each other before adding them to another piece of Early Espresso card stock to make it look like a slab of chocolate.

I then ripped a piece of aluminium foil to look like the foil the chocolate comes in before using a piece of D.S.P. from the "Share what you love" collection for the wrapper.

I stamped my sentiments and brushed the edges with Early Espresso ink to finish off my card. unfortunately the stamp set of the cones is now retired but all other items in this project are in the current 2018 -2019 annual catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the products please contact me so that i might help you with your purchase.
I will be posting the tutorial for this card on my Facebook group on Sunday the 16th September why not join my group "Di's Den for Stamping Crafting and Tutorials" hope to see you there.

I used a very vanilla card base and the Joyous Noel D.S.P. at the top and silver foil sheet embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing folder on the bottom. I placed the Merry Merlot & Copper Ribbon through the middle. I mounted this onto my card base before cutting out 2 circles from the layering circles and the rein deer from the detailed deer thinlits. I placed this in the middle using dimensionals. I then stamped my sentiment on some Very Vanilla using Merry Merlot ink, and placed this on the front of the card.

Colour Creations - Daffodil Delight

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-15-daffodil-delight/

Hi Everyone, Here we are with Daffodil Delight, this week is another shade of Yellow and I really do struggle with yellow. But never mind it is nice to have a challenge. This week my card is a stepping card, I hope you like it.

I started out by using a Very Vanilla card base followed by a Daffodil Delight mat and step. I then embossed the Whisper White Card using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and mounted this onto the Daffodil Delight card. I then stamped the floral image from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set (Retired) onto Vellum using Versa Mark and Gold Embossed the outline image. Using my Blender Pens I coloured the Leaved using Old Olive and the Flowers with the Daffodil Delight. I attached this to the Whisper White using glue dots.

I then attached the little Bee from the Detailed Dragonflies die set and some Metallic Pearls just to finish it off.
I then stamped my front sentiment on some more Whisper White and added a little bow using the Tearoom Ribbon and mounted this to the front step using Dimensionals.

Even though I find Yellow to be a challenge colour for me I really did like how this card turned out.
It is such a shame that this stamp set was only available for August 2018 as I think it is so lovely.

Colour Creations - Crushed Curry

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-14-crushed-curry/
Hi Everyone, well here we are at week 14 of the Colour Creations Hop and the colour is "Crushed Curry" it's a very rich yellow colour, I not a person that uses a lot of yellow so I found this week a bit of a challenge for me.
So this is my card I used a very vanilla card base and top layer, but placed my crushed curry between the to layers up on dimensionals. I stamped my image from the "Accented Blooms" stamp set on the top layer and coloured in the flowers using my marker pens. I stamped the "Hello" greeting in crushed curry ink and place this up on dimensionals as well.
I used the very vanilla & copper ribbon from the Tea Room Ribbon combo pack because the ribbon is narrow I used 2 strips and the added a bow between them along with the "Share what you Love Artisan Pearls" I also added some pearls to the sentiment and some of the flowers.
I layered my inserts in the same manner as the front of the card and stamped the small flower top and bottom before addinf my sentiment.
