Week 45 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Shaded Spruce

Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations blog-Hop. This week (and we are getting close to the end now) we are featuring Shaded Spruce. This to me is a lovely Christmas Green colour. As Green is my favourite colour I didn't have much trouble coming up with a card. I used the Bee My Valentine Bundle. But I didn't make a Valentines card. I just love that little Bee.

I started with a Shaded Spruce card base and added a Pool Party layer. Then I added my DSP from the bundle I used the Colour & Contour bundle to cut the edge of the DSP and the centre for my Bee to sit on. I also added some Basic white to the centre piece and stamped it. I then cut out the bee and stamped his wings onto Vellum I finished off with some lovely Sequins.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card with the honey comb and bee trails. I think this will make a lovely Birthday card for someone special. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!.  If you would like to know more about these product or my design please feel free to contact me.

Week 40 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Pool Party

Hello and welcome to week 40 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Pool Party, this colour is part of the Subtles collection and a very pretty colour indeed. I have chosen to make a 3d Project this week, and being it's getting close to Easter I thought it would me nice. This project is also coming up on my YOUTUBE Channel on the 25th of Feb.

So here it is a lovely little basket using the Sale-a-bration papers called Softly Stippled. The Basket it's self is in Pool Party along with the small amount of stamping. I used the Easter Bunny bundle for the Annual Catalogue and coloured using Crumb Cake Blends.

As you can see it holds about 4 of the Cadbury Eggs, that come in a pack of 24 they are about the size of a regular Jumbo sized egg. I think I know who will get these.

Really happy how the basket tuned out. All the items used can be found in the 2023-24 Annual catalogue and the Jan-Feb 24 Sale-a-bration catalogue. But time is running out on these items so you will have to be quick if you don't already have them.

If you would like to know more about these product or the project it's self, please feel free to contact me via phone or email.

Week 39 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pool Party

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 39 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Pool Party. As the colour suggests it like the colour of swimming pool water. I think it's a really pretty colour not green and not blue. It is party of the Subtles collection and has matching Paper, ink and Blends. I have chosen to make a gift box this week rather than a card, and it is Easter themed.

My box is tall about 7 1/4 inches (18cm) and will hold an array of items I have chosen to fill mine with Easter Eggs. So I started with Pool Party for my box and used the lovely Sale-A-Bration DSP called Dandy Designs. There are so many lovely designs in this pack and they are great for all occasions.  I then punched out 2 Decorative Circles one in Pool Party the other in Basic White. I stamped the Easter Eggs from the Easter Bunny Bundle along with the Saying. and then coloured in the eggs using my Marker Pens. I then stamped the Bunny from the same set and using my blends I coloured the rabbit in Crumb Cake. I think this little bunny is so sweet. I punched him out and added this to the front of the box. Finishing off the front with some bling, called glossy Dots Assortment.

This box will hold between 4 and six of the eggs shown in this photo. I think its a really sweet little project. All the items used in this project are current at the time of upload. But the Sale-A-Bration item will finish at end of February 2023. So if you would like this DSP please be quick as stock will be running low. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about these products or the project. You can contact me either via phone, email or MP.

Week 26 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Highland Heather

Hello and welcome to week 26 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. We are now over half way through our colours as there are 50 colours in the Stampin' Up! world. We are featuring Highland Heather this week, it's a lovely Light Purple or lilac colour.

I decided to make a fancy fold card that is called W.V. Card. I started with a Highland Heather card base and my layer is Old Olive. My DSP is the Perfectly Penciled 12 x 12, that I spent the morning colouring with my Highland Heather, Old Olive and Pool Party Blend pens Light and Dark. Took me a bit of time as I coloured the whole sheet. But I was really happy with the way it looked. I then cut out 3 butterflies in soild gold foil sheet and 3 butterflies in filigree using the Highland Heather, these are from the Butterfly Brilliance set. placing a few Highland Heather Pearls around to finish off the front and inner back section of the card.

As you can seen from the photo above the W.V. shape of the card. I place a small tag on the back section of this card saying Thinking of You, as the writing panel is on the back of the card.

I finished the back of the card with the same Old Olive layer and the Basic white. All of my sentiments come from the Celebrating You and Go-To Greetings. once again you can see the way the W section of the card is folded. All the items used in this week project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these product, or you would like to know more about this fancy fold please feel free to contact me via email, PM or Phone.

Week 36 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pool Party.

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 36 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week we are featuring the colour that is called Pool Party. This is a lovely cool greeny-blue colour that reminds me of swimming pool water. You will find this colour in the Subtles collection range, and is available in Card stock, Ink pad, Refill and blends as well as DSP.  This week I have chosen to make a card using Sale-A-Bration items, The Simply Marbleous  DSP and Calming Camellia Host Stamp set.
So I started with a Pool Party card Base and added the Basic White layer along with the DSP. I then added a scalloped layer using the Scalloped Contours Dies. I Stamped the Calming Camellia image and Happy Birthday using Pool Party ink. I then added a bow using the Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon that I coloured using my Pool Party Blend pen on the white parts. and finished off the front with the beautiful Iridescent Rhinestones.

Placing the scalloped image on an angle on the front of the card using dimensionals. I only added a Basic white layer to the inside of  my card but once again I stamped in Pool Party ink. placing the camellia into the bottom right corner and my sentiment into the centre.

With such a pretty colour this card really has wow factor for me and I love the Rhinestones. Sale-A-Brations Items finish on the 28th February 2022, but all other items can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the January - June 2022 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about any of these item, or you would like to purchase these items please feel free to contact me via, email, PM or phone. Colour Creations - Pool Party

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3491
Hi Everyone,
Week 38 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop and this week our colour if Pool Party. A beautiful Aqua Marine colour sooo Pretty (Well at least I think so).
I have chosen to use the Beauty Abounds stamp set as I really do love this one. With the card that I have created this week I think it looks so pretty and delicate.

I also used the Butterfly Gala stamp set and punch as well and coloured my Butterflys using the Pool Party Marker pen and a touch of Wink of Stella. I stamped the circles and splatter marks on the card front in Pool Party and the background butterflies in Smoky Slate. I added dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and some 1/8 inch ribbon just to add that little something to the front. I finished off the front by add just 3 small rhinestones, to me it's just enough.

The insert I also matted to match the front of the card and stamped the flouish and splatter in Pool Party and the sentiment in Memento Ink. I have make this card 4 times in total, in Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, and Melon Mambo and it looks lovely in all 4 colours.
All the items used in this project are in the current 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the items used in this project please give me a call, email or PM me so that I can help you.
