Week 46 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Smoky Slate

Hello and welcome to week 46 of the colour creations blog-hop. we are featuring Smoky Slate this week. Although this is a lovely Neutral Colour, part of the Neutrals Collection I still have trouble using it. I teamed Smoky Slate with Basic Gray for my card this week and was happy with the results.

So I started with a Basic Gray card base added the Smoky Slate layer. Then added the 2 triangles in Basic Gray topped with the beautiful Abigail Rose DSP which is in Smoky Slate. I then stamped the 2 flower in the same DSP and cut them out with the dies from the Cottage Rose Bundle. I added a little extra colour by cutting out the leaves in Garden Green. I stamped the Happy Birthday from the same set on the slant and finished off the front with the Iridescent Rhinestone.

Placing the rhinestones either side of the sentiment and then a few more on the DSP.  I mirrored the layering on the inside of the card, and keeping is simple I stamped the message using Smoky Slate Ink.

All the items used in this week project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like the know more about these product of the project please feel free to contact me either by Email, PM or phone.

Week 45 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Shaded Spruce

Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this is week 45 of 50 so we are getting close to the end of the hop. This week our colour is called Shaded Spruce, a lovely green that is part of the Regals Collection. in the collection you will find matching Card, Ink and Markers as well as Blends light and Dark. I have chosen an older bundle to share with you all today. This bundle can be found on page 73 of the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.\, and is called Forever Fern.

I started with a Basic White card base and added the Shaded Spruce layer, I then added a Mint Macaron layer that I stamped using Shaded Spruce ink stamped off once. I then stamped the leaves in Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron & Old Olive and cut them out using the dies. I finished off with a little bit of Silver Leaves. I then added the sentiment layers and stamped in Shaded Spruce. I added a few 2021-2023 Opal Rounds and splashed around the Wink of Stella to add a little sparkle.

I layered the inside of my card using Shaded Spruce and Basic White.  I stamped the Leaves in Shaded Spruce but I didn't add a sentiment message to the inside of the card, as the words on the front can be used for many occasions.

A simple card with plenty of uses.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project or the products used please feel free to contact me via Email, Phone or PM.

Week 44 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Sahara Sand

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week our feature colour is called Sahara Sand. To me it's a sort of beige colour (like dirty sand), but it's a colour I do like. I thought I would make a Male card again as it's a challenge for me and I really do find it hard to make male cards.

So this week I started with a Basic White card base and added a Garden Green layer. I then added a Sahara Sand layer that I embossed using the Metal Plate 3d Embossing folder that is part of the Legendary Ride Suite.

I thought that gave interest to the card front. I then added the grass layers using the grass stamp from the Easter Bunny Bundle, then I fussy cut the top so it looked like grass. I added a goal post in Early Espresso. Before making my Soccer Ball. This I did using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I cut 6 Basic White and 4 Basic Black gluing them onto a piece of scrap then cutting it out using the layering Circles.

I placed dimensionals on to the back of the ball and then second layer of grass placing the ball between the layers. I finished off the front with the Sentiment tag that I flagged each end using the Pick a Banner punch. and stamping the You are Legendary form the Legendary Ride stamp set. Embellishment are from the 2021-2023 Opal Rounds.

Keeping the inside simple as I normally do I layered the Garden Green with Basic White and stamped the Grass along the bottom. Colouring it with Evening Evergreen. I Stamped the saying form the Greatest Journey Stamp set. I was so pleased with this that I made a video that will go live in early April.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023 Jan - April Mini Catalogue and the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project or that products used please feel free to contact me via Email, Phone or PM.

Week 43 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Rich Razzleberry

Hello and Welcome to week 43 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this week our colour is called Rich Razzleberry.  Not one of my favourite colours, but is is a rich burgundy. I decided to pair it with Pear Pizzazz, and as I made this card for my YOUTUBE Channel I wanted them all to tie in with each other.

So I made a 3d Star Card,  this card is looks better than the photography. It does lay flat for posting.

So I started with Rich Razzleberry card and added my Pear Pizzazz layers along with the lovely Perfectly Penciled DSP that I coloured using my Marker pens in Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz. I teamed this up with the Sending Smiles Bundle and the Deckled Rectangles. I made the front and real panels floating to give it more dimension.

I do hate cards that don't have anywhere for you to write you message. So added the writing panel was a no brainer for me. I finished off the front of the card with a few Iridescent Rhinestones. I do love that it folds flat though. All the items used in this project can by found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project of the items used please feel free to contact me via Email, Phone or PM.

Week 42 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Real Red

Hello and welcome to week 42 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Called Real Red. This is a lovely red and I thought I would show it off with a rather simple card.

So I started with a Basic White card base and added my first layer in Real Red. My second layer was back to Basic White but I used the Metal Plate 3d Embossing folder. Just to give it some texture. I then added 2 more Real Red Panels and the lovely Like an Animal DSP that I coloured using Real Red ink and my Blending Brush. I think they came up beautifully. Attaching them to the front of the card one flat and the other on Dimensionals. I then Stamped the Happy Birthday from the Pansy Patch stamp set.

Finishing off the front with the 2021-2023 Incolor Opal Rounds that I coloured using my Dark Real Red Blends pen.

I decided to add the same colours to the inside of the card so using a bit more of the Like an Animal DSP, coloured and the Same Stamp set I layered in Real Red and Basic White. All the stamping was done in Real Red. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue and the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these products or this design please feel free to contact me via Email, PM or Phone.
