Week 13 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Crumb Cake

Hello and Welcome to week 13 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Crumb Cake,  part of the Neutrals collection and of the brownish shade it's one of the nicest. Being a lovely soft light brown, it's a colour that will go with so many others as I have done here.

I decided to make a Swing card, I started with a Polished Pink base and added the Crumb Cake as my layer this complemented to beautiful Whimsy & Wonder specialty designer series paper with the presents on it as there is Crumb Cake in it for my top layer.  Using the dies from the Poinsettia Petals I added the holly leave to the front of the card over the Window Sheeting. I stamped my sentiment onto one of the Tailor Made Tags using Crumb Cake Ink and added the Polished Pink Ribbon to finish off the front of the card.

You will notice that the centre section of the card is loose and is also a tiny bit shorter that the sides this is so that this section will swing.

As you can see in this photo. I also placed one of the holly leaved on the window sheeting from the back to cover up the glue dots.

The inside of my card is layered with Crumb Cake and more of the same designer series paper and a Basic White Writing panel that once again I stamped in Crumb Cake ink. The Crumb Cake in this card is a lovely contrast from the bright Polished Pink and the lovely DSP. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the July- December 2021 Mini Catalogue. Week 11 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Cinnamon Cider

Hello and Welcome to week 11 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring Cinnamon Cider, a beautiful light tan colour and part of the 2020-2022 Incolor range. I have made a real fancy fold card for you all, it's called a Pop Up Centre Fold. I really think that this colour does it justice.

I started with a Very Vanilla Card base and added the Cinnamon Cider layer and then the Hand-Penned DSP layer. All my stamping was done in Cinnamon Cider Except for the flower that I stamped from the Color & Contour Bundle. Using one of the dies from the same bundle I stamped my sentiment and the dots. I mounted the flower onto dimensionals and then to finish off the front I added Basic pearls that I coloured with my Blend pen in Cinnamon Cider.  But the inside is what we are all looking forward to seeing, am I right?

It's one of those cards that you display open as you can see. I don't think the photo really does it justice though. The inside has more of the same Hand-Penned DSP and flowers from the Color & Contour Bundle that have been stamped in Cinnamon Cider and then using my blending brush to colour them. I have made this card about 4 times in all now for both male & females and it really does come up a treat. All the items used in this project are in the Stampin' UP! Annual 2021-2022 catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the these products or you would like more information on this fold please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Thank you for taking the time to read my Blog.

Week 10 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Cherry Cobbler

Hello and Welcome to another week of the Colour Creation Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Cherry Cobbler this colour is part of the Regals Collection being a very deep dark red colour. I have chosen to do a CASE the Catalogue card this week the original can be found on page 34 of the Annual Catalogue. Here is my version-:

I started my card with a Cherry Cobble card Base and added a Basic White Layer that I stamped the little chefs hat onto using the What's Cooking Bundle. I then stamped the bowl and but it out so that I could cut a slit to place my spoon in side before gluing  it to the front. I used the DSP From the Tidings of Christmas Suite as it looked like an apron to me. I then cut out the board, knife, slice and beater using the dies from the What's Cooking bundle and then added them to the front of the card. I used a piece of the Cherry Cobble & Gold Ribbon from the 2021 Mini Catalogue before added my sentiment tag.

My insert was kept simple with just a small about of stamping. This bundle is really very easy to work with and I thought I would have a problem and was unsure if I should purchase it or not. But I'm glad that I did. I think this card could be used for many occasions. So that's is my take on the picture in the Catalogue. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual and 2022 Mini Catalogues from Stampin' Up! if you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase. Remember that if you purchase between August 3rd - September 31st 2021 and spend $90AU or more you can also choose an item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue for FREE.
