I also kept the inside of my card simple as well by just stamping onto Basic White card using the Starry Sky ink. I also used the dauber again around the edges so that it wasn't as bigger contrast.

This time I started with a Lemon Lolly card base and added the Smoky Slate as my layer. I love this DSP that to me looks like an old fashion table cloth pattern. I then stamped the mugs and spoons before colouring them using Smoky Slate blends. I filled my mugs with a nice medium blend of coffe using Pecan Pie ink. I stamped the steam in Basic Gray and cut them out by hand. gluing them to the cups. I mounted the cups spoons and sentiment using dimensionals finishing off with just one of the swirl dots.
I wanted to add a little more interest to the inside of the card than I usually do so some coffee stains and a cup, again colouring with blends. I think the Lemon Lolly really brings out the Smoky Slate and they go together really well. I can see me using this set a real lot. Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations blog-Hop. This week (and we are getting close to the end now) we are featuring Shaded Spruce. This to me is a lovely Christmas Green colour. As Green is my favourite colour I didn't have much trouble coming up with a card. I used the Bee My Valentine Bundle. But I didn't make a Valentines card. I just love that little Bee.
I started with a Shaded Spruce card base and added a Pool Party layer. Then I added my DSP from the bundle I used the Colour & Contour bundle to cut the edge of the DSP and the centre for my Bee to sit on. I also added some Basic white to the centre piece and stamped it. I then cut out the bee and stamped his wings onto Vellum I finished off with some lovely Sequins.
I followed the theme over to the inside of the card with the honey comb and bee trails. I think this will make a lovely Birthday card for someone special. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!. If you would like to know more about these product or my design please feel free to contact me.

Hello all, and welcome to week 44 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring Real Red. This colour is part of the Brights Collection of colours and a really lovely bright red.
I have chosen to use one of the Online Exclusive product that went live this month (March 2024) Called Simply Zinnia. I started with a Real Red card back and add a Old Olive layer. I then added a Basic white layer that I embossed using the embossing folder that is part of the Zinnia Suite. then I made my frame that covers part of the basic white layer and added the DSP to give the framed look. I called this card a Framed Card. I then cut out the Zinnias from the dies as well as the leaves and added them to the front of the card. Finishing off the front using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch, and some of the lovely shiny Sequins.
As always I follow the layering over to the inside of my card, with Old Olive and Basic White. I stamped my sentiment and the zinnias in Real red and only coloured the leaves with Old Olive. I love the way the frame turned out. I haven't seen this design before (not saying it's not been done before) and was happy with how it all came together. Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. we are now getting to the pointy end of the colours with only 7 more weeks to go after this. Our feature colour this week is Pumpkin Pie, a really lovely Orange and part of the Brights collection of colours. So with that in mind I decided I would use some of the lovely Stargazing DSP and the Reach for the Stars Bundle for this weeks project.
I started by using Pumpkin Pie for my card base making a cutaway front card design. I added Basic Black for my 1st layer and then the Stargazing DSP layer to both pieces of the front. I then stamped using my Versa Mark ink and Silver embossed my sentiment onto the DSP and then the astronaut on Black card embossed in silver mounting them with dimensionals. Finishing off the front with a few silver stars.
As the front of the card is cut away you can see some of the inside, so I added the Basic Black and Basic White layers to the inside. Stamping in Black Memento. I kept the inside very plain as I didn't want any stamping to be seen from the outside of the card.
This is such a simple design and yet very effective. I love the way this one turned out as well. All the items used in this weeks project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this card design or the product that I used please feel free to contact me via email or PM.

Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Pretty Peacock. I love this colour it's so nice and yet it is a dark colour. I would call this colour a sort of greeny blue. Anyway I thought I would use the Ice Cream Swirl Bundle for this weeks project. So I started with a Pretty Peacock base card and added a Basic White layer and then a DSP layer using the Bright and Beautiful Paper. I then cut out the ice cream cone in Crumb Cake and using the same colour ink darkened the edges so that it looked more rounded. I then cut out the ice cream in Bubble Bath and Basic White to give the effect of a swirl in 2 flavours. Finishing off the ice cream with some strawberries. It looks so good I would love to eat it. I attached this to the front of the card using Dimensionals. along with my sentiment.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and the 2024 Jan-April Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or my card design please feel free to contact me.

But I don't like cards that wont stand up on their own, so I added a stand to the back of the card so that it can be displayed nicely.
All the items used in this project a current at the time of being published, but the DSP will finish on the 29th Feb 2024 as this is a Sale-a-Bration item. If you would like to know more about these product on the design of my card please feel free to contact me. I have no idea who will receive this card at the present time.
