Week 25 Fresh Freesia - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 25 of the Colour Creation Blog Hop. With this weeks feature colour being Fresh Freesia a beautiful lilac colour I really wanted to show it off. So I decided all the lovely purples in the colour range. So I used them all. I started my card with a Gorgeous Grape card base and then added at Highland Heather Layer. I then added the Fresh Freesia layer that I had stamped in Fresh Freesia ink using the Layers of Beauty Bundle. I then used the masks from the same bundle and made my Roses using the same colours as the layers along with Garden Green and Old Olive. As the main rose was to large for the front of this card I cut off a section and glue this to the side of the card as seen in the photo below.

I then added my sentiment from the Unbounded Love Bundle and used the dies that I thought really gave the front that added depth. I finished off the front with the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.

My insert was kept plain and simple with just a Highland Heather layer and Basic White Card. I did all of my stamping in Fresh Freesia inside and out and a Simple flower on the inside corner to finish off.

All the items used in this project can be found in the current 2024-25 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these items of the card design please feel free to contact me.

Week 24 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Fresh Freesia

Hello and welcome to week 24 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our feature colour is Fresh Freesia. A beautiful pale lilac colour and I love it. I have chosen to also feature the lovely Deckled Circles from the mini catalogue as well. As I think the to go together really well.

I love rocker cards and I thought this would be a lovely colour to do this with. I started with a Fresh Freesia card base, that I cut out using the largest deckled circles dies and then added a Night of Navy layer followed by a DSP layer from the  Delightfully Eclectic pack. I folded the first circle in half and then cut the other 2 layers in half. I then added 3 more circles for the topper in Fresh Freesia, Night of Navy and Basic White. Using the Happy Birthday die from the Wanted to Say set and the flowers made from the Paper Florist set. to decorate the front of my card.

Finishing off the centre of the flowers with Iridescent gems and some Wink of Stella.

My insert was layered with Night of Navy and Basic White and stamped with a message from the Pansy Patch stamp set. All of these colours go together so well I love the way it turned out. All items used in this project are from the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and the Deckled Circles are from the 2023 Mini Catalogue. I really hope they will carry these circles over into the next Annual Catalogue I think as more people see how many dies there are and how many lovely project they can make they will want them.

If you would like to know more about these prodcuts used or you would like to purchase them please feel free to contact me via email, PM or phone. So that I might help you.

Week 7 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Bubble Bath

Hello and welcome to week 7 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we a featuring the lovely colour called Bubble Bath. This is a very pretty pink and I love it. I wanted to try a fancy fold that I hadn't made before so here it is.

It doesn't look much when the card is closed, but when you open it all the magic is on the inside. So I started with a Bubble Bath card base and added Fresh Freesia layers before adding the DSP called Bright and Beautiful. I added a closer to the front with a magnet and stamped using the Artistically Inked Set. Finishing off with the beautiful Bubble Bath Ribbon and Iridescent Rhinestones.

But as I said the magic happens when you open the card. You have a lovely little shopping bag on the inside that will hold a gift card or cash. You could also add a small gift as long as it's not to bulky. So I made my shopping bag from White copy paper and stamped it from the same stamp set. I added 2 ribbon handles using the same Sheer Ribbon in Bubble Bath. I also added layer to the right-hand side front and small piece on the left-hand side. I then stamped my Basic white layer for my writing panel.

All the items used in this project can be found in the current 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this fancy fold card or the products used please feel free to contact me via Phone, Email or PM.

Week 25 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Gray Granite

Hello and Welcome my lovely Crafty Friends. This week we are featuring Gray Granite as our colour. Not an easy one for me to work with, to dull for my liking. Gray Granite is part of the Neutrals Collection of Stampin' Up! Colours it has a slight beige tinge to it. But I teamed it up with Basic Gray to create my card. As I think this is a colour more suited to a Male card, this is what I made.

I started with a Gray Granite card base that if deckled the bottom edge on. I then cut out 4 layers of deckled rectangles alternatively in Basic Gray and Gray Granite. With the smallest as Gray Granite I then set about giving my sky the stormy look using Fresh Freesia to give the effect of storm clouds, and using Balmy Blue for the sea. I stamped my sail boat from the Let's Set Sail Bundle and added the birds. I stamped the message from the Celebrating You Stamp Set. Finishing off the front with some Iridescent Rhinestones to make it look like rain drops.

As always my insert is plain I layered 2 more deckled rectangles and stamped my sentiment in Memento ink.

All the items used in this weeks project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like any of these products or would like to know more about them please feel free to give me a Call, email or PM so that I might help you.

Week 21 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Fresh Freesia

Hello and welcome to week 21 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Fresh Freesia. This colour is part of the 2021-2023 In Color Range. It's a very pretty Lilac and so easy to work with.

This week I have chosen to make a fancy fold card that until last week I had never heard of, It's called a 3rd Fold Card.

A really different design than I have every seen before. But I thought I would give this one a go. So I started with a Garden Green card base and added my layers in Fresh Freesia and them my DSP layer Tea Boutique. Adding a topper using the Cup of Tea Bundle.

As you can see the card looks like a gate fold but that's the thing it's only a half gate fold. The insert I layered with just a Basic White stamping in Garden Green and Fresh Freesia. I also added the same layers to the Right-hand bottom corner so that when the card is closed it looks symmetrical. I thought this looked better.
There is plenty of room to write your message even with the extra panel added to the right-hand side. This is a 5 1/2 inch (14cm) Square card and I really love the way it turned out.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this card or the products used, please feel free to contact me Via email, PM or Phone.

Hello and Welcome to Week 1 of the New Colour Creations 2021-2022 Blog Hop. If you are new to this blog this is where we the "Art With Heart Team Australia" get together once a week and present our projects using each colour from the Stampin' Up! colour pallets. We do this in Alphabetical order Except for the 5 new incolors that we are showcasing all together.

My card bases are using the Incolor with a Basic White Layer that I embossed using the New "Bark 3D" embossing folder, I then added another layer of the Incolor that I cut out using the largest of the Stitched So Sweetly dies and the another Basic White using the next size down from the same die set. I then made my Pansy flower from the New "Pansy Patch Bundle" I finished off the front with a Happy Birthday from the same set and Matching "Open Weave Ribbon" and the New 2021-2023 Incolor Jewels.

My inserts are all the same Stamped using the 2021-2023 Incolor ink pads I also used the same DSP "Pansy Petals" on all 5 cards. I love the way they all look even making Evening Evergreen Pansies.
