Week 41 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Poppy Parade

Hello and welcome to you all. This week we are featuring Poppy Parade, This is a lovely bright red colour and part of the Brights Collection. I have chosen to make a male card this week using the Trusty Tools Bundle and the DSP from the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue. I'm really loving this set as it's just so lovely for a man....
This is called a Criss Cross Card, so I started with a Poppy Parade card base and using the lovely DSP added my front layers to the card. I then punch out the Decorative Circle and added a 2inch plain circle, that I stamped with the nuts & screw stamp. I cut the tools out of the DSP and placed these on top. Attaching to the front of the card with dimensionals.  The insert for this card slides out for you to write your message onto. I stamped my message at the top and more of the nuts and screws.

But I don't like cards that wont stand up on their own, so I added a stand to the back of the card so that it can be displayed nicely.

All the items used in this project a current at the time of being published, but the DSP will finish on the 29th Feb 2024 as this is a Sale-a-Bration item. If you would like to know more about these product on the design of my card please feel free to contact me. I have no idea who will receive this card at the present time. But I'm sure they will like it as much as I do.

Week 40 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Poppy Parade

Hello and welcome to the colour creations Blo-Hop. This week our feature colour is Poppy Parade. This is a really lovely bright red, and is part of the Bright Collection. I wanted to do another card using the Legendary Ride Bundle. So here it is

I started with a Basic Black card base and added a Poppy Parade layers and then the DSP from the Suite, that is called Ready to Ride. I then added another Basic Black layer then the Poppy Parade and another DSP layer I fish tailed the end of all 3 layers. Added another couple of layers in Basic Black and Poppy Parade. These I cut out using the layering Circles. I only wanted the word Legendary on the front and that fitted on just perfectly. I assembled the Bike and added this to the circles along with some of the Studs.

I ended up making a second card the same for my YOUTUBE channel to show how to assemble the bike. My hubby and our boarder loved them both.

I layered my inside of the card to match the front. Stamping the motorbike along the bottom. At this time I don't know who will end up with these cards but I think they are going to love them.

All the product used in this project can be found in the Annual 2022-2023 Catalogue and the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these products, please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 37 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Poppy Parade

Hello and Welcome to week 37 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Poppy Parade, a beautiful bright red from the Brights Collection of colours. This also comes in the A4 Card Stock, Classic Stampin' Pad, Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, Blends Combo Pack and Brights DSP Assortments.
I have made another of my fancy fold cards as I really enjoy making these kinds of cards. I love the challenge. This one is called a Triple Layer card. I have seen this made a few different ways so I have combined them to come up with my own version.

I started with a Poppy Parade card base and added my DSP from the Mini Catalogue Called Flowering Fields. I put this on all 3 layers. I love the poppies so much. I then added the windmill to the front and the poppies to the second layer, leaving the back layer with only the DSP. I finished off the front with a sentiment front the Flowering Poppy stamp set and added some Champagne Rhinestones.

This is what the card looks like from the side and it does lay flat and fit into a regular envelope. It's really very effective and sits up lovely. I added a writing panel to the back of my card so that there is somewhere to write my personal message.

I Stamped the writing panel with the Windmill from the Tulip Fields stamp set along with the clouds. The saying was from the Flowering Tulips. My other layer used through out the card was Pear Pizzazz. I love the way the little windmills arms move around. I haven't decided who will receive this card yet. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue or the 2022 Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue. If you would like more information about my project or the products used please feel free to give me a call, email or PM me. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

Week 36 - Colour Creations Showcase - Poppy Parade

Hello and Welcome to week 36 of the Colour Creations Showcase by the Art with Heart Team Australia.

This week our colour is Poppy Parade and very bright Red and part of the Brights Collection of Colours. I have chosen a fairly simple card for this week and yet it's a card that a beginner through to advance crafter could make. I call it an Abstract Card.

I made this style of card when my mum was up a few weeks ago as she needed a Male card and wanted something a little different. So I know this can look just as good as a male card as well as this female version.  I started out with a Blushing Bride card blank and add the Poppy Parade layer followed by another Blushing Bride. My DSP is from the Flowers for Every Season set and I layered that onto the Poppy Parade. After find the best angle I then stamped my Sentiment Using the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set and added some basic pearls to Finish off the front of the card.

My insert is very plain with just the Poppy Parade layered onto white card. all my Stamping was done in Poppy Parade. I love the simplicity of this card and yet it can look so stunning. All the products used in this project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of all of the product used here please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your Purchase. Colour Creations - Poppy Parade

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3513

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 39 of the colour Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Poppy Parade, what a lovely colour so vibrate, what a beautiful red. I have used the stamp set from the Sale-A-Brations catalogue 2nd addition. The set is called Painted Seasons I used the DSP from the bundle as well.

I stamped out the flowers and cut them out along with the leaves and glued the middle flower to the card base and put the other 2 flower onto diemensionals to give them more height. I also stamped out the leaves and cut them out and glued them flat to the card. I used the words from the Lasting Lily set and the corners from the Around the corner set just to finish off the front.

I added a few gems to the middle of the flowers just to add a little bling.
I stamped the insert with a row of flowers and left the rest blank so the card can be used for many different occasions.

All the items used in this project a from the Sale-A-Brations and 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue if you would like to purchase all any of the items used in this project please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.
