Week 10 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Blushing Bride

Hi All, and welcome to week 10 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we have a lovely Pink for you it's called Blushing Bride. This colour is part of the Subtles Collection and is a very pretty pale pink colour. I have designed my card using some of the New Sale-A-Bration Silver & Gold DSP. I have chosen the Silver to work with and as the paper is white I used my Blending Brush to colour the paper Blushing Bride. I coloured heavier in some places to give a bit of a mottled look. So starting with a Blushing Bride card base I added a Silver Foil Sheet and then the Coloured DSP. I then used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out 2 square frames and attached these to the front of the card using Dimensionals. I then used the Pansy Patch Bundle to make my 2 pansy flowers with both Blushing Bride and Basic White card. I assembled these and added them to the squares. I then stamped the Happy Birthday from the same bundle to place in the Flag ended Sentiment die. To finish off the front I used the beautiful Iridescent Rhinestones.

Wow that DSP came up a treat being coloured.

I used the off cut from the DSP for the insert of my card, Stamping my sentiment from the same bundle and in Blushing Bride ink. keeping the insert very basic. I think I might finish off the front of the card with a bit of Wink of Stella on the flowers. but who knows. All the items used in this project are in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. A very feminine card indeed. If you would like to know more about these product of the Sale-A-Bration items please feel free to give me a Call, Email or PM, so that I can help you.

Week 3 Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2022-2023 Starry Sky

Hello Everyone, and welcome to another year of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop.

This week we have Starry Sky, it's a beautiful Dark Blue Sky colour and I just think it's so nice. I have chosen to make a fancy fold card called "Drop Flap Easel Card". I started my card with a Starry Sky card base and added a Blushing Bride layer followed by the New Incolor DSP in Starry Sky. I cut the front angle of my card using the Basic Border Dies, I did this on all the layers. I used the off cuts to layer together and form my stopper. I then punch out the Oval from the Double Oval punch and made it into a saucer for my cup. The cups come from the Cup of Tea Bundle. I stacked them up and added the leaves to the top cup. Placing little tea bag tags hanging over the cups and one on the stopped. The butterflies are from the Butterfly Brilliance set.

For my insert I stamped the same leaves along the bottom and just a sentiment, keeping it simple. I'm really loving this card design and have also made a few others not using the incolors.

All the items used in this project are current and in the New Annual Catalogue that went live on the 3rd April 2022. If you would like to know more about these product or the New Annual Catalogue please feel free to give me a Call, email or PM so that I might help you.

Week 6 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Blushing Bride

Hello Everyone and Welcome to another week in the Art with Heart Team Blog-Hop. If this is your first time here let me tell you a little about what we are doing. Each week we are making a project using one of the colours in the Stampin' Up Range we are doing this in Alphabetical order and having so much fun challenging ourselves to use colour we might not normally use. This week we have Blushing Bride a really pretty pale pink colour and I'm a pink person so I found this one easy to work with.

I decided to do a fun fold card called a Pinwheel Tower card. I Started my card with a Blushing Bride Card Blank and added a Basic White layers and then using the Hand-Penned DSP as my next layer this paper is just so pretty I love it. to Decorate the front of my card I used the New Tailor Made Tags and Stamped my words from the Create With Friends Stamp Set using Blushing Bride Ink. The Flowers I stamped tone on tone from the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and I added basic pearls to the center of the flowers.

You can see the pinwheel effect from the top of the card and this card lays flap and fits into a 6 x 6 inch envelope. I think it's a really effective shaped card and I can see myself making a few more of them in the future.

This card has a writing panel on the back and I have added just a Basic White layer here and stamped my sentiment and flowers from the same Sweet Strawberry Bundle. All the items used in this card can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a Call, Email or PM me so that I can help you with your Purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to read my Blog, I look forward to seeing you here again.

Week 36 - Colour Creations Showcase - Poppy Parade

Hello and Welcome to week 36 of the Colour Creations Showcase by the Art with Heart Team Australia.

This week our colour is Poppy Parade and very bright Red and part of the Brights Collection of Colours. I have chosen a fairly simple card for this week and yet it's a card that a beginner through to advance crafter could make. I call it an Abstract Card.

I made this style of card when my mum was up a few weeks ago as she needed a Male card and wanted something a little different. So I know this can look just as good as a male card as well as this female version.  I started out with a Blushing Bride card blank and add the Poppy Parade layer followed by another Blushing Bride. My DSP is from the Flowers for Every Season set and I layered that onto the Poppy Parade. After find the best angle I then stamped my Sentiment Using the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set and added some basic pearls to Finish off the front of the card.

My insert is very plain with just the Poppy Parade layered onto white card. all my Stamping was done in Poppy Parade. I love the simplicity of this card and yet it can look so stunning. All the products used in this project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of all of the product used here please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your Purchase. Colour Crations Showcase - Week 5 Blushing Bride

https://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=5236

Hello and Welcome to week 5 of the colour Creations Showcase. This weeks colour is Blushing Bride and I would have to say not one of my favourite colours I do like pink but I find this one a little wishy washy for my liking. But I did manage to come up with a card that I was very pleased with. (if I do say so myself)

I thought it was time to bring out the Daisy punches again so that what I did. I started my creation using a Blushing Bride card base and then added a Very Vanilla layer that I Embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing folder. I used Early Espresso that I cut into strips to make a lattice look over the Very Vanilla.
I then stamped the Large and Small Daisy 4 times each 2 in Blushing Bride and 2 in Very Vanilla using the Blushing Bride Ink I then punched them out this made up one flower. I then punched out 2 more of the small daisies in Crushed Curry and cut the down I then cut each petal in half to fringe them and glued them to the middle of the flowers. Adding the large gilded gems to the centres of the flowers.
These are very full flowers as you can see. I then used the Celebrate Sunflowers dies to make up the leaves and other Fernery on the lattice work. To Finish off the front of the card,  I added a Happy Birthday from the Timeless Tulip stamp set and punched it out along with another blank in Blushing Bride using the Classic Label Punch and add the small Butterflies from the Butterfly Gala bundle.

Once again I have kept the insert very plain  by stamping only a sentiment and 2 daisies from the Daisy Lane stamp set I layered the Very Vanilla onto Early Espresso before attaching it to the inside of the card. I think this card would need to be place in a box as it's very bulky. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all these items please give me a call, email or PM, alternatively you can order online and place me name (Diane Furniss) in as your demonstrator..... Thank you.

Colour Creations - Blushing Bride

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-7-blushing-bride/
Hi Everyone, Wow week 7 and the colour this week is Blushing Bride, a beautiful pink colour. I'm sure every girl (Big or Small) will love this pretty pink on their card. I have created a Wedding Card (not that I know anyone getting married) but I just love this stamp set and had to make a it.

This is a Upright Diamond Card: I used Smoky Slate for my base card and the Blushing Bride for the layers which I stamped using the Blushing Bride Ink (Tone on Tone). I stamped the flowers from the Time for Tea Stamp Set. I then layered them onto the card. I stamped my insert using the Wonderful Moments stamp set.

Before layering it onto some more Blushing Bride and gluing it into place. I then stamped the bride image again on some more whisper white and using the layering ovals I cut out the image for the front of the card. I layered this onto a larger scalloped oval using foil sheet.

I then glued the stamped oval onto the foil oval before adding dimensionals and placing this on the diamond front panel of the card. I finished off by just adding a small amount of colour to the bride, colouring her flowers and  ribbon on her dress with my Blushing Bride Marker. I topped off the card by adding a few basic pearls to the front image.

All of these items can be found in the current 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please call or email me.
Thank you Hugs Diane
