Week 43 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Rich Razzleberry

Hello and Welcome to week 43 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this week our colour is called Rich Razzleberry.  Not one of my favourite colours, but is is a rich burgundy. I decided to pair it with Pear Pizzazz, and as I made this card for my YOUTUBE Channel I wanted them all to tie in with each other.

So I made a 3d Star Card,  this card is looks better than the photography. It does lay flat for posting.

So I started with Rich Razzleberry card and added my Pear Pizzazz layers along with the lovely Perfectly Penciled DSP that I coloured using my Marker pens in Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz. I teamed this up with the Sending Smiles Bundle and the Deckled Rectangles. I made the front and real panels floating to give it more dimension.

I do hate cards that don't have anywhere for you to write you message. So added the writing panel was a no brainer for me. I finished off the front of the card with a few Iridescent Rhinestones. I do love that it folds flat though. All the items used in this project can by found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project of the items used please feel free to contact me via Email, Phone or PM.

Week 36 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pear Pizzazz

Hello and welcome to week 36 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week we are featuring the colour called Pear Pizzazz. For me this was an easy colour as green is my favourite colour, and this is a really lovely mid shade of green. I thought I would use some of the new products from the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalogue. I love the little bunnies, the bundle is called "Easter Bunny Bundle" on page 52.

So I started with 2 of the 3 bunnies colouring them using the Blends I used light and dark Crumb Cake I also stamped the little carrots and coloured them using Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green. I punched out the bunny that matches the punch and fussy cut the others along with the carrots and the grass.

I used the DSP from the Enjoy the Journey bundle and using my blending brush I added Pear Pizzazz ink to enhance the colour. Then I stamped some of the grass onto the front section, with the contours on the DSP it gave the look of different levels of grass. I thought that my Bunny scene turned out not half bad. Just finishing off the front with a Hi using the layering circles.

My insert was a little bit more than I usually do as I wanted to add another bunny here as well.

All the items used in this project can be found in the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalogue and the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to know more about these product or the card design please feel free to contact me either via email, PM or phone.

Week 37 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Poppy Parade

Hello and Welcome to week 37 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Poppy Parade, a beautiful bright red from the Brights Collection of colours. This also comes in the A4 Card Stock, Classic Stampin' Pad, Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, Blends Combo Pack and Brights DSP Assortments.
I have made another of my fancy fold cards as I really enjoy making these kinds of cards. I love the challenge. This one is called a Triple Layer card. I have seen this made a few different ways so I have combined them to come up with my own version.

I started with a Poppy Parade card base and added my DSP from the Mini Catalogue Called Flowering Fields. I put this on all 3 layers. I love the poppies so much. I then added the windmill to the front and the poppies to the second layer, leaving the back layer with only the DSP. I finished off the front with a sentiment front the Flowering Poppy stamp set and added some Champagne Rhinestones.

This is what the card looks like from the side and it does lay flat and fit into a regular envelope. It's really very effective and sits up lovely. I added a writing panel to the back of my card so that there is somewhere to write my personal message.

I Stamped the writing panel with the Windmill from the Tulip Fields stamp set along with the clouds. The saying was from the Flowering Tulips. My other layer used through out the card was Pear Pizzazz. I love the way the little windmills arms move around. I haven't decided who will receive this card yet. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue or the 2022 Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue. If you would like more information about my project or the products used please feel free to give me a call, email or PM me. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

Week 34 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pear Pizazz

Hello everyone and welcome to week 34 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. Well this week we are featuring the colour Pear Pizzazz, it's a really lovely green colour (I know I'm a bit biassed as green is my favourite colour).  But really it is a lovely green and I have coupled it with another of the greens. Mossy Meadow.  I have seen the Whitewash technique done a few different ways and I thought I want to give this a go. So here is my version of this technique.

So starting with a pear Pizzazz card base I then added a Mossy Meadow layer. I then cut a 2nd layer in Pear Pizzazz and stamped it using the Prized Peony stamp set and Mossy Meadow Ink. I then cut another layer using one of the Scalloped Contour dies and then using the Stitched Rectangles I cut another Pear Pizzazz layer that once again I stamped from the Prized Peony stamp set.
I then started to colour the stamped images using the White Craft ink pad that I squeezed onto one of my stamp block so the the ink was covering it. Using the Blender Pens that come in a pack of 3 I picked up some of the ink and started to colour in the flower petals. I did this on both stamped images. on the top image I coloured the branch using the Bronze blends pen. I that stamped my sentiment and mounted this onto another layer so that the 2 greens were together even there. I attached the sentiment and the smaller layers to the front of the card using dimensionals.
Finishing off the front of the card with the beautiful Iridescent Rhinestones and a little Wink of Stella. My insert I layered the Mossy Meadow with Basic White. I stamped another of the Prized Peony flowers in the bottom right-hand corner and left the rest of it clear without a sentiment.

I was really happy with the effect and I have since made 2 more cards using this technique in different colours. Everything used in this project except the Rhinestones can be found in the Annual 2021-2022 Catalogue. The Iridescent Rhinestone can be found in the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this technique or would like to purchase any or all of these product please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 38 - Colour Creations Showcase - Pumpkin Pie

Hello all and welcome to week 38 of the Colour Creations Showcase. This week we have Pumpkin Pie as our colour. It's a beautiful rich Orange and my second favourite colour so I have found this quite easy to work with. I decided to used the Rooted in Nature stamp set and an Autumn theme for my card as we are coming into this time of the year when there are so many lovely colours on the trees.

I started with a Pumpkin Pie card base and added a Pear Pizzazz layer that I run through my embossing machine with the Subtle Embossing Folder, I then added a Pumpkin Pie layer on an angle before stamping a white layer with White Embossing Powder and the leaf stamp. I used Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry ink pads along with my blending brushes to colour the white card to give a lovely muted background. I then stamped my sentiment with White Embossing Powder and heat set it before cutting it out using the die from the So Sentimental bundle. I mounted this to the front of my card using dimensionals and then added 2 Pear Pizzazz and 2 Pumpkin Pie leaves and some Gold Enamel dots.

My insert I used another Pear Pizzazz layer before added the white layer of which I stamped around the edge the same leaves as for the front of the card. I then stamped my sentiment using Pumpkin Pie.  I don't know who will get this card yet but I'm sure I will know the right person when it's time.
