Week 9 Colour Creations Blog-hop Calypso Coral

Hello and welcome to week 9 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-hop. This week we have a very pretty Orange colour that is called Calypso Coral. I have made a reverse Easel card and I was very happy with how it turned out.

I started with a Calypso Coral card base and added the Basic White layer then the DSP from the You're a Peach. I love this paper it's so bright and cheery. I stamped my Dahlia from the new Sale-A-Bration Free items that will be available from the 3rd August - 30 September 2021. This stamp set is called Delicate Dahlias and I love this set as well. I then Masked the flower and stamped the leaves. Both the flowers and the leaves are 2 step stamping and go together so well. I then added heat and stick powder to small areas of the flower using Versa Mark before heating the powder and then applying the Gold Leafing. This just gave the flower that little extra that it needed to bring it out. I then attached a small bow using the Evening Evergreen Ribbon and finished off with some Gold Metallic Pearls. I also added the pearls to the centres of flowers on the stopper bar.

I made the stopper bar sit in the middle of the card so that it would allow the flowers easel section stand up high so that it could be seen really easy when on display.

I added my writing panel to the back of the card and stamped both my Happy Birthday on the front and in other message from the Pansy Patch Stamp set (page 29 AC). All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the August-September Sale-A-Bration catalogue. Don't forget that when you order $90 or more products from either the Annual Catalogue or the Mini Catalogue you can choose a Free Item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. If you would like any or all of the item used in this project please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Heart of Christmas 2021

Hello everyone and welcome to another Heart of Christmas Blog Hop for 2021. It's really feels a little early for me to be making Christmas projects but I was asked to make this card as a tutorial so I thought I would make a Christmas version and that way I could post it here for everyone to see as well.

It's a Pinwheel Tower Flap Card (what a mouthful) but I really thought it turned out well and the DSP is from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue that starts on the 3rd August 2021 and my snow flakes and sentiment stamp is from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp and Dies that carried over from last year. This is a very large card measuring 8 x 6 inches but fit perfectly into an A5 Envelope.

So using Cherry Cobbler as my base card I added Basic White and then my DSP called Peaceful Prints all my stamping is done in Cherry Cobbler so there are not a really lots of colours. For me this is a really bright and cheerful card and I think I know who will get this card. All items used in this project except the DSP are available from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the DSP will be available from the 3rd August with any $90AU order. If you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I look forward to seeing you here again.

Week 8 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Cajun Craze

Hello Everyone and welcome to week 8 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-hop. This week our feature colour is Cajun Craze a real rusty brown colour and one I really struggle with. Not my favourite colour by any means, but it's nice to get out of your comfort zone and use colours your fond of.

So here we are I started my card using a Very Vanilla base and added Early Espresso before layering with In Good Taste DSP. I then used the dies from the Stitched Leaves set that also coordinates with the Love of Leaves Stamp Set to cut my leaves in Cajun Craze card. I cut out 5 leaves in all and place 4 of them on the front of the card that I attached with dimensionals. I then stamped my sentiment from the Love of Leaves stamp set and again mounted this with dimensionals, I finished the front by colouring 3 basic pearls using the Dark Cajun Craze Blends pen.

The inside of my card was also layered using Early Espresso and then another Very Vanilla layer. I stamped my sentiment using Cajun Craze ink and then added the last leaf that I had cut out to the top left-hand corner of the insert. All the items used in the project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please feel free to give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your purchase.

Week 7 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Bumblebee

Hello and Welcome to week 7 of the Art with Heart Team Colour Creations Blog-Hop. We are now at the end of the B's with the last colour being Bumblebee a really lovely Yellow and one of the 2020-2022 Incolors. This week I have created a card using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp set and Dies featured on Page 17 of the Annual 2021-2022 Catalogue. I Started with a Basic White Card base ad layered Pumpkin Pie and then Bumblebee and then another Basic White I stamped using the Bumblebee ink pad for the sentiment and speckles. I then added the outline die cut of the Sunflower in Bumblebee Card and some leave from Soft Succulent. I finished off the front with Holiday gems.

For my insert I layered some more Bumblebee card followed by Basic White and a small strip out of Bumblebee at the bottom for interest. Again I stamped using Bumblebee ink and the leaves I masked and stamped in the Soft Succulent ink. All the items used in this project can be found in the Current 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, If you would like to purchase as or all of these products please feel free to give me a Call, Email or Pm so that I can help you with your purchase.

Heart of Christmas 2021 Blog-Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Heart of Christmas Blog-Hop for 2021. With the New Mini Catalogue coming out on the 3rd August 2021 and the Items in the Current 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue there are plenty of lovely sets and Papers to chose from.

I have chosen to make a card from the Tidings of Christmas Suite Featured on Page 88-89 of the Annual Catalogue. I love the papers in the suite they are just beautiful. Anyway I have chosen to make a Pop Out Fancy fold card that really showcases the paper and the Star die. My Merry Christmas is from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp set on Page 92.

I started with a Basic White Card base and added a Cherry Cobbler layer followed by the DSP I then used my layering circles to cut out a hole in the front of the card and also to make a frame from Mossy Meadow card. With my star I cut this out 3 time in white card and glued them together before cutting out another in Gold Foil and placing this over the top this really made the star stand out. I then place the Mossy Meadow background star under it so the it really Popped. I used my Cherry Cobbler blender pen to colour some basic peals for the centre of the star and the berries with the holly leave.

When you open this card the centre circle pops out inside the card and looks so pretty in Mossy Meadow followed by the DSP cut using the scalloped circle the scalloped circle and the star are both attached using dimensionals to give it more depth.

Once you pull back the inside flap it reveals the inside message and your place to write your own message. This is my 1st Christmas card for the season. So I hope like it as much as I do. All the product used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your Purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I look forward to seeing you here again.

Week 6 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Blushing Bride

Hello Everyone and Welcome to another week in the Art with Heart Team Blog-Hop. If this is your first time here let me tell you a little about what we are doing. Each week we are making a project using one of the colours in the Stampin' Up Range we are doing this in Alphabetical order and having so much fun challenging ourselves to use colour we might not normally use. This week we have Blushing Bride a really pretty pale pink colour and I'm a pink person so I found this one easy to work with.

I decided to do a fun fold card called a Pinwheel Tower card. I Started my card with a Blushing Bride Card Blank and added a Basic White layers and then using the Hand-Penned DSP as my next layer this paper is just so pretty I love it. to Decorate the front of my card I used the New Tailor Made Tags and Stamped my words from the Create With Friends Stamp Set using Blushing Bride Ink. The Flowers I stamped tone on tone from the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and I added basic pearls to the center of the flowers.

You can see the pinwheel effect from the top of the card and this card lays flap and fits into a 6 x 6 inch envelope. I think it's a really effective shaped card and I can see myself making a few more of them in the future.

This card has a writing panel on the back and I have added just a Basic White layer here and stamped my sentiment and flowers from the same Sweet Strawberry Bundle. All the items used in this card can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a Call, Email or PM me so that I can help you with your Purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to read my Blog, I look forward to seeing you here again.
