Week 41 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Sahara Sand

Hello Everyone, and welcome to week 41 of the colour creations block hop. We are almost at the end now, and it's been a great ride. This week our colour is Sahara Sand and as the name implies it's a light sandy colour. Sahara Sand is one of the Neutrals Colour range and you can find Card Stock, Ink Pad & Refills in this colour along with the DSP colour range. I did find it a little hard to design a card using this colour as it's not one of the colours that I reach for.

But here it is. I started with a card base using Sahara Sand and then added a layer in Early Espresso. The DSP that I used comes from the Tidings of Christmas range found in the Annual Catalogue. Even thought it's classed as a Christmas paper it doesn't have a Christmas theme to this DSP.  I then used the layering dies from the Hippo Happiness bundle to the next 2 layers one in Early Espresso and the other using the DSP again. I then cut out the butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle. First the solid butterfly and then the filigree one. again in Early Espresso and Sahara Sand. I then curved the wings on both and added dimensional between the layers and then back of the butterflies.

Before attaching them to the front of the card. I stamped my Happy Birthday directly onto the DSP, using the Stamparatus so the I could stamp it several times. I finished off the front of the card with the Iridescent Rhinestones.

As always my insert is very plain. I layers Early Espresso and Basic white together and just stamped a short and sweet message on the inside along with one of the butterflies from the same bundle. A pretty and elegant card, but unsure who will be getting this one yet. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like any or all of these product please feel free to give me a Call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 10 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Cherry Cobbler

Hello and Welcome to another week of the Colour Creation Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Cherry Cobbler this colour is part of the Regals Collection being a very deep dark red colour. I have chosen to do a CASE the Catalogue card this week the original can be found on page 34 of the Annual Catalogue. Here is my version-:

I started my card with a Cherry Cobble card Base and added a Basic White Layer that I stamped the little chefs hat onto using the What's Cooking Bundle. I then stamped the bowl and but it out so that I could cut a slit to place my spoon in side before gluing  it to the front. I used the DSP From the Tidings of Christmas Suite as it looked like an apron to me. I then cut out the board, knife, slice and beater using the dies from the What's Cooking bundle and then added them to the front of the card. I used a piece of the Cherry Cobble & Gold Ribbon from the 2021 Mini Catalogue before added my sentiment tag.

My insert was kept simple with just a small about of stamping. This bundle is really very easy to work with and I thought I would have a problem and was unsure if I should purchase it or not. But I'm glad that I did. I think this card could be used for many occasions. So that's is my take on the picture in the Catalogue. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual and 2022 Mini Catalogues from Stampin' Up! if you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase. Heart of Christmas 2021 Blog-Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Heart of Christmas Blog-Hop for 2021. With the New Mini Catalogue coming out on the 3rd August 2021 and the Items in the Current 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue there are plenty of lovely sets and Papers to chose from.

I have chosen to make a card from the Tidings of Christmas Suite Featured on Page 88-89 of the Annual Catalogue. I love the papers in the suite they are just beautiful. Anyway I have chosen to make a Pop Out Fancy fold card that really showcases the paper and the Star die. My Merry Christmas is from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp set on Page 92.

I started with a Basic White Card base and added a Cherry Cobbler layer followed by the DSP I then used my layering circles to cut out a hole in the front of the card and also to make a frame from Mossy Meadow card. With my star I cut this out 3 time in white card and glued them together before cutting out another in Gold Foil and placing this over the top this really made the star stand out. I then place the Mossy Meadow background star under it so the it really Popped. I used my Cherry Cobbler blender pen to colour some basic peals for the centre of the star and the berries with the holly leave.

When you open this card the centre circle pops out inside the card and looks so pretty in Mossy Meadow followed by the DSP cut using the scalloped circle the scalloped circle and the star are both attached using dimensionals to give it more depth.

Once you pull back the inside flap it reveals the inside message and your place to write your own message. This is my 1st Christmas card for the season. So I hope like it as much as I do. All the product used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your Purchase.
