Week 19 Colour Creations - Blog-Hop - Evening Evergreen

Hi and welcome to week 19 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. Here we are with the only other colour in the Stampin' Up! range starting with an E. It's Evening Evergreen a really dark green and as green is my favourite colour I was happy making this card. I decided I would make a Christmas card as I like traditional Christmas colours.

So Starting with a Real Red card base I added an Evening Evergreen layer that I have Embossed using the lovely Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I then added another Real Red layer and then my DSP layer using Boughs of Holly Paper, that I cut to form a pocket. Placing a tag inside the pocket Stamped using Evening Evergreen ink. I made up some Holly Leaves and Berries for decoration and a Tag from the Stylish Shapes dies. The holly leave are from the Leaves of Holly Bundle. I finished off the front with a ribbon on the tag so that who ever receives this card will know to look, and so of the 2021-2023 Opal Rounds.

For the inside of my card I once again added an Evening Evergreen layer then a Basic white. Stamping in Evening Evergreen. A lovely card that you could attach a gift card to the tag for someone special.

Week 7 Colour Creations Blog- Hop - Basic Gray

Hello and welcome to the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. We are an Australian group that are working through the colour pallet of the Stampin' Up! Colours. We started with the 2022-2024 Incolors and now we are working through all of the other colours in the range in Alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Basic Gray. Basic Gray is part of the Neutrals Collection of colour groups. Not one that I personally use a lot. But it is really nice to be pushed out of my comfit zone. So here is my card.

I started with a smoky slate card base and added the Basic gray as my layers. I then added some DSP from the retiring Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue Called Symbols of Fortune. This is Smoky Slate and Gold. Very pretty. I then used the Forever Flourishing dies to add my leaves to the front of the card. Finishing off the front with Evening Evergreen ribbon and gems.

This is a Side Pillar card so I added the layers on the sides and end panel so that the pattern flowed all the way around.

The back of the card is where you write your message. So once again I layered with Basic Gray and then on my Basic White I stamped using Basic Gray ink. I stamped the leaves from the Forever Fern Stamp set along with my sentiment. This is a different style of card and I was pleased with how it turned out. It's a bit larger than normal being a 7 x 5 inch size, but I think it would look wrong being smaller.

All the items are current at the time of this blog going live. But the DSP will be retiring on the 30th June 2022. If you would like to know more about this fold or the product used please feel free to give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 1 Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2022-23 Orchid Oasis

Hi everyone, Yes that's right we are heading around the Stampin' Up! Colour pallet again. We will be starting with the new Incolors for 2022-2024, and they are so beautiful and bright you are going to love them. Our 1st colour is called Orchid Oasis. This is a lovely purple/blue colour and I love it. (a bit bias).

I thought I would do a square card for a change and decided I wanted to water paint the flower. So I started my card with a Orchid Oasis card base and added a Basic White layer then a layer from the Tea Boutique DSP (which is so pretty) I curled over the top corner and added 2 tags from the Tailored Tags dies add a couple of flowers from the Hues of Happiness DSP and some Evening Evergreen ribbon. I stamped my flower and using my water painter brush painted the main flower. Finishing off the front with the beautiful iridescent Rhinestones.

I finished off the inside of my card very plainly not to take anything away from the outside. All the stamping was done with memento and Orchid Oasis ink pads. All the items used in this project are in the Current Annual 2022-23 Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or would like to purchase them please feel free to give me a call, email or PM.

Week 14 Colour Creations Blog - Hop Crushed Curry

Hello and Welcome to week 14 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop. Each week we showcase a different colour from the Stampin' Up! range, this week is Crushed Curry. This is mustard shade of yellow from the Regals Collection. I was trying to find something a little different and having so much trouble that I ended up CASING a card from another demonstrator, LeeAnn Greff so thank you LeeAnn for the inspiration for this card.

I started my card with a Basic White base and added a Crushed Curry layer followed by another Basic White layer.  On my white layer I place a circle and then using my blending brushes and Crushed Curry ink Pad I coloured the front of my card adding a small amount of Pumpkin Pie ink so that it resembled a setting sun sky.  I then removed the circle to leave the white circle as the moon. I then used Evening Evergreen ink to stamp my Bamboo from the Bamboo Beauty Stamp set on page 49 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue.

With my insert I matched this with outside of the card using the same techniques. I thought that leaving the inside white it would look wrong. it's such a simple design that really does give a real punch (in my opinion).

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a call, email or PM so that I might help you with your purchase.

Week 9 Colour Creations Blog-hop Calypso Coral

Hello and welcome to week 9 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-hop. This week we have a very pretty Orange colour that is called Calypso Coral. I have made a reverse Easel card and I was very happy with how it turned out.

I started with a Calypso Coral card base and added the Basic White layer then the DSP from the You're a Peach. I love this paper it's so bright and cheery. I stamped my Dahlia from the new Sale-A-Bration Free items that will be available from the 3rd August - 30 September 2021. This stamp set is called Delicate Dahlias and I love this set as well. I then Masked the flower and stamped the leaves. Both the flowers and the leaves are 2 step stamping and go together so well. I then added heat and stick powder to small areas of the flower using Versa Mark before heating the powder and then applying the Gold Leafing. This just gave the flower that little extra that it needed to bring it out. I then attached a small bow using the Evening Evergreen Ribbon and finished off with some Gold Metallic Pearls. I also added the pearls to the centres of flowers on the stopper bar.

I made the stopper bar sit in the middle of the card so that it would allow the flowers easel section stand up high so that it could be seen really easy when on display.

I added my writing panel to the back of the card and stamped both my Happy Birthday on the front and in other message from the Pansy Patch Stamp set (page 29 AC). All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the August-September Sale-A-Bration catalogue. Don't forget that when you order $90 or more products from either the Annual Catalogue or the Mini Catalogue you can choose a Free Item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. If you would like any or all of the item used in this project please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Hello and Welcome to Week 1 of the New Colour Creations 2021-2022 Blog Hop. If you are new to this blog this is where we the "Art With Heart Team Australia" get together once a week and present our projects using each colour from the Stampin' Up! colour pallets. We do this in Alphabetical order Except for the 5 new incolors that we are showcasing all together.

So this week our colours are - Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya.  I have chosen to do all of my 5 cards in the same style using only the said colors along with Basic White and a little Granny Apple Green and Old Olive for the leaves.

My card bases are using the Incolor with a Basic White Layer that I embossed using the New "Bark 3D" embossing folder, I then added another layer of the Incolor that I cut out using the largest of the Stitched So Sweetly dies and the another Basic White using the next size down from the same die set. I then made my Pansy flower from the New "Pansy Patch Bundle" I finished off the front with a Happy Birthday from the same set and Matching "Open Weave Ribbon" and the New 2021-2023 Incolor Jewels.

My inserts are all the same Stamped using the 2021-2023 Incolor ink pads I also used the same DSP "Pansy Petals" on all 5 cards. I love the way they all look even making Evening Evergreen Pansies. All the Items used in this project are in the Current 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, If you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your purchase.
