Week 29 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Misty Moonlight

Hello Everyone, and welcome to the last Colour Creations Blog-Hop for 2021. No this isn't the end of our Colour Creations Blog-Hop we will be back on the 5th January 2022 with the next colour.
But for this week we are doing Misty Moonlight as our colour. This in one of the 2020-2022 In Colors and a very pretty dusty blue.
I have chosen to do mine using all products from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue.  So I have started with a Basic White card Base and added a Misty Moonlight Layer, then a DSP layer from the Simply Elegant specialty paper pack. I then used the Color & Contour Bundle for my Scalloped layer and topped it with more Basic White. I used the same stamp set and stamped my flowers using Misty Moonlight Ink and finished off the front with some Basic Rhinestones.

I didn't know how the flowers were going to look stamped in Misty Moonlight but the surprisingly look nice to me. My insert as always is very simple with just a Misty Moonlight layer with a Basic White layer over the top and Stamped in Misty Moonlight. I popped  a small bud in the bottom left-hand corner just to take the plainness out of it.

I originally I had done this card in Melon Mambo. But as I was away when that colour came up I decided to see what it would look like in the Misty Moonlight as I like it. All the products used in this weeks project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these products please feel free to give me a call, PM or email so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 28 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Mint Macaron

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 28 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Mint Macaron, this colour is part of the Subtles collection and a beautiful dusty green.
I have chosen to make a card design that I haven't done in a while, it's simple and very plain but I like it. I started with a Mint Macaron card Base and added a Basic white layer before adding my DSP from the Expressions in Ink paper pack. I love this pack as they are beautiful swirls and whirls that make it so easy to use for any occasion.

I also used the Color and Contour Bundle to stamp my flowers and cut them out. I stamped the outline in Garden Green and then the fill colour was Mint Macaron on Mint Macaron card stock. I added 2 circles and Happy Birthday to finish off the front of this very plain card. As this card fold in the centre it's not wise to put to much on the pop up piece as it wont slide through the slit in the middle of the card.

The back of the card has a lovely writing panel so you have a space to write your message. I have also kept this very plain as well. Sometimes it's just nice to have a plain card.  All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase these item please give me a Call, PM or email so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 25 - Colour Creations Blog- Hop Mango Melody

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 25 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. If this is your first time here, we are counting down the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order and creating a project using each weeks featured colour. This week we are showcasing Mango Melody. A beautiful rich Orangy-Yellow and one of my favourite yellows in the colour pallet. It is part of the Brights collection it pairs  well with just about any colour. I have paired mine with Old Olive and Bermuda Bay.

I have used the Love of Leaves for my card and stamped them in Mango Melody, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay and them using my Water Painter I splattered the card with more Mango Melody ink. I then layered this onto a Mango Melody layer and then onto a Basic White card base. I added my sentiment to the front I layered the sentiment with Mango Melody and Bermuda bay card to make it stand out and to finish off the front of the card I added some Holiday rhinestones.

For the inside of the card I layered my Basic white onto Mango Melody and with a piece of the stamped image from the front that I trimmed off, I added this to the white layer. I stamped my sentiment and then added this all to the inside of the card. All the items used in this weeks project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of the items, or would like to know more about Stampin' Up! in general please give me a Call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 24 Colour Creations Blog Hop - Magenta Madness

Hello and welcome to week 24 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Magenta Madness, this is one of the 2020-2022 Incolors and a very pretty pink. My card this week is one that I designed with inspiration form a few different card concepts that I had seen. I combined them together and came up with this one. That I call a Tag Pocket Card.

I started out with a Basic White card base and added my Magenta Madness layers and the some DSP from the Impressions in Ink range (This paper is so beautiful). I then used the Timeless Tulips stamp set featured on page 38 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. and stamped my tulips on the inside of my card, so that when the card is closed they show through to the front of the card. I then cut a tag using the Tailor Made Tags, and stamped this as well.

This tag could be used as a lovely book mark if you wished. I used the gold Shimmer ribbon for the top of the tag. I decided to make this into a get well card, and finished it off with a small gold butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and some Magenta Madness Enamel Dots. This is such a simple card and yet in the Magenta Madness looks so bright and cheery.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, if you would like the purchase any of all of these product please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 23 Colour Creations - Blog-Hop Just Jade

Hello Everyone and welcome to week 23 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we have Just Jade for you and I know that there will be plenty of lovely projects to get you inspired. Just Jade is one of the 2020-2022 Incolors, so this will be finishing up at the end of the current Annual Catalogue period. What a shame as I really like it. Being in the green range of colours and green being my favourite colour I'm a bit partial to it and find green very easy to work with.

So this is my Card..... I started with a Just Jade card base and added a Basic White layer. I then took another Basic white layer and using the Artistically Inked Stamp set and my Just Jade ink pad I stamped my layer as follows. I started by stamping off twice to get the lightest shade, stamping randomly over the layer and then I inked up again and stamped off once for the next shade. I then finished off by stamping at full strength. I love the way this turned out. I have Frances McFaul to thank for showing me this technique and I really love it. I then added some leave from the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle from the Mini Catalogue. They are in Shaded Spruce, Just Jade and Gold Foil. I finished off the front with a Happy Birthday and small bow.

As I started off with a larger piece of card for my stamping on the front I cut this and added it to the inside of my card. I also stamped some leaves and sentiment all in Just Jade. For a Monochromatic card I think these tones work so will together and I'm very happy with how it turned out. I think I might try the same technique with an array of colours and see what it looks like.

All the items used in this weeks project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this technique or would like to purchase any or all of the products used in this projects please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you. Week 22 Colour Creations Blog - Hop Highland Heather

Hi Everyone, Wow can you believe we are at the end of October 2021 already. Well Week 22 brings a Lovely colour for us to use it's called Highland Heather and it's such a lovely soft purple colour. I thought that I would make a card for my Sister In-Law for her birthday I bet you can't tell by my card what date is her Birthday.

That's right the 12th of November. hehehe. I have had this stamp set for a while and this is the first time I have used it. It took me a while to line up like I wanted it, but once it was done I was happy. So this is the Days to Remember Stamp set on page 18 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. I used the Happy Birthday from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set on page 97 of the Same Catalogue. and my flower as from the Flowers of Friendship Bundle on page 78.
So I started with the Highland Heather card base and added a Basic White layer and the DSP from the Hand-Penned DSP pack (I love this pack). I stamped my flowers and then punched them out, before gluing them together. I added the Basic pearls and coloured them for the centres of the flowers.

They look a little blue but I coloured them with the Dark Highland Heather Blend pen. For my insert I stamped that large flower from the same stamp set as the from flowers and coloured this in as well and then added a small sentiment of Best Wishes.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase. Thank you for taking the time to read my Blog. I know that my Sister In-law (Anne) will love her card is purple is her favourite colour.

Week 21 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Gray Granite

Hi Everyone and Welcome to week 21 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Gray Granite, this is not a colour that I choice to use very often, but I am happy that I gave this card a go and although it's all gray and white I'm happy with the outcome.

Using only Gray Granite and Basic White card I created this card. All my stamping was done with Gray Granite ink. I used the Basic Borders Dies to create the edge along the front of the card and stamped using the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers from this set and then fussy cut them out. I mounted them onto the front of the card using Dimensionals and finished off with the beautiful Brushed Metallic Dots.

When the card is open to reveal the insert I have just stamped "You are the Best"from the same stamp set. along with more feathers. This will make a really love male card even though it has flowers on the front. The muted colour scheme really works well for me. All the items used in the project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the 2021 Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue. I really hope that they will carry over these beautiful Brushed Metallic Dot as I think they make a lovely addition to my project. If you would like to purchase any or all of these product please feel free to give me a call, email or PM. If you live in Australia I would love to be your demonstrator, if you are overseas I can put you in touch with some who can help you.

Week 20 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Granny Apple Green

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop from the Art with Heart Team Australia. This week our colour is called Granny Apple Green it is part of the Brights Collection and one of my favourite colours.

I thought I would make a Christmas card and I Love the Penguin Place Bundle (Page 33) in the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue. This is called a Triple Easel Card and I love it. I started with a Granny Apple Green Card Base and using some Basic White I make my own DSP using the snow flakes stamp from the bundle and Granny Apple Green Ink. I then used my Blending Brush and more of the same colour to lightly colour the white to a very pale green. I then used the layering circles to cut out the stoppers and the pictures along with the Penguin Place stamp set for my pop up images.

It's so cute and I think it really pops in the Granny Apple Green. I attached the pop up images and stoppers to the card using dimensionals and a touch of Wink of Stella to the Christmas Trees.

I stamped the inside of the card on the left-hand side under the middle panel from the same stamp set. This will leave plenty of room for writing my message at a later date. Keeping this card with only the white and green theme was very easy to do, and I think it is effective.
All the items used in this project are from the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue and the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of all of these products and you live in Australia, please give me a Call, PM or Email so that I can help you with your purchase.

week 19 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Gorgeous Grape

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 19 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Gorgeous Grape, what a pretty colour I'm not a big purple person myself but it is very nice. So this week I thought I would make a lovely card using the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle (on page 106 of the Annual Catalogue) Such a lovely bundle.  I started with a Basic white card base and used the Gorgeous Grape to layer on my card then using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing fold I embossed another piece of basic white to layer over the Gorgeous Grape layer. I then add another layer (smaller) in both Gorgeous Grape and Basic white, this time I stamped the white piece using the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and Gorgeous Grape ink. After gluing these together I added dimensionals to the back and place this on the card front. I cut out a large plain butterfly from the same bundle and then with the same size filigree butterfly I cut this out in Silver Foil Card. layering my sentiment in the same way to finish off my card front. Adding only a few Basic Pearls that I coloured for the finishing touched.

For my insert I layered the Gorgeous Grape and white card together and then stamped down the left-hand side with the butterfly stamp. keeping the rest very simple and stamping the insert message from the Pansy Patch stamp set. All the items used in this project are in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Week 18 - Colour Creations - Blog-Hop - Garden Green

Hello and welcome to week 18 of the colour creations blog-hop from the Art with Heart Team Australia. This week we are using Garden Green as our focus colour and as Green is my favourite colour I was in my element. I decided I would do a side stepper card as I haven't made one of these in some time. I wanted it to have a Christmas Theme so using the Bright Baubles Bundle for the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue seemed the perfect choice.

Starting with a Garden Green card base I used Cherry Cobbler for the 1st layer and then Painted Christmas DSP from the Same Mini Catalogue. I stamped my Bauble using Stazon ink onto Gold Mirror card. Using Stazon it dies and wont smudge I then coloured small areas of the bauble using the Cherry Cobbler Dark Blends Pen as this will also be smudge free when dry. I Then added the Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestones and the Cherry Cobbler & Gold metallic ribbon to finish off the front of the card.

Keeping with the same theme of colours I layers my insert and stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  This is one of the few Christmas Cards I have made this year as I haven't been able to get into the Christmas spirit much as the moment.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of these items or would like to know more about the fold used please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 17 Colour Creations Blog - Hop Flirty Flamingo

Welcome to week 17 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we are creating with Flirty Flamingo. This really isn't one of my favourite colours and I really do struggle to get any ideas with it. So I went through my tutorials and I thought this one will make a really stunning card and it did. (If I do say so myself) toot toot.

It's called a Front Fan Fold card and it's really easy to do. I also used the Sale-A-Bration DSP called Beautifully Penned. I used my blends to colour the flowers on the DSP and on the stamped images on the front of the card and then die cut out 2 flowers from the Hand Penned Bundle to place in the middle of the fan. The butterfly is from the Butterfly Brillance dies and my Basic pearl I colour Flirty Flamingo. This card will need a box to send it in as it stills up about 1/2 inch (1.3cm)  so you wouldn't want to squash it.

I stamped the inside of my card and coloured the flowers again, I allowed a large boarder around my card to really bring out the Flirty Flamingo. I didn't put a sentiment on the front of the card as I thought the inside words say it all.

All the items used in this weeks project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue and the August - September Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. If you would like more information on this project or the items used please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 16 Colour Creations Blog - Hop Early Espresso

Hello and Welcome to Week 16 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop.
This week our colour is Early Espresso a really lovely Brown, So I thought I would team this colour up with Gold and I was really surprised at how well they went together.

Teaming up Early Espresso with Gold really gave this card the sparkle it needed. I also used the Blackberry Beauty DSP from the 2021 Mini Catalogue. With the beautiful paper with a hint of gold it really worked well. I wanted to add the Dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden bundle so I stamped the dragonfly using Stazon ink and then punched it out. I mounted him on the card front with Dimensionals and then added some Brushed Metallic Dot.

The inside of my card I kept very simple with just a brush of colour on the White card so that it was so bright and then I stamped my sentiment and images using Early Espresso ink. I'm not sure who will end up with this card but I hope they like it.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue and the 2021 July-December Mini Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these product or would like to know more about Stampin' Up! in general please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 15 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Daffodil Delight

Hello and Welcome to Week 15 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop. What a mouthful, but we are here to inspire you and each other by using all the Stampin' Up! Colours in Alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Daffodil Delight a creamy Yellow and part of the Brights Collection of colours. Of all the yellows in the Stampin' Up! range I would have to say this is my favourtie.

I decided I would make a get well card this week so Starting with a Daffodil Delight card Base I add the Basic Black layer and a Daffodil delight layer that I was worn across the top and bottom. I used my blending brush to add a little colour to the torn edge using Flirty Flamingo. I then stamped a Basic White layer with the Timeless Tulips Stamp set, using Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz for the stems and leaves. Finishing the front with a the flagged end tag in Black and White, and stamping using memento ink.

Keeping the inside of the card very simple with just a Basic Black and White layers and a few more tulips. This way you can write as much as you like to the recipient. I love this Timeless Tulip Stamp Set and use it a lot. But I have never done yellow tulips before but added the bit of extra colour to the flowers I think they give more depth. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I might help you with your purchase. I look forward to hearing from you.
