Week 45 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Shaded Spruce

 

Hello and welcome to the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this is week 45 of 50 so we are getting close to the end of the hop. This week our colour is called Shaded Spruce, a lovely green that is part of the Regals Collection. in the collection you will find matching Card, Ink and Markers as well as Blends light and Dark. I have chosen an older bundle to share with you all today. This bundle can be found on page 73 of the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.\, and is called Forever Fern. 

I started with a Basic White card base and added the Shaded Spruce layer, I then added a Mint Macaron layer that I stamped using Shaded Spruce ink stamped off once. I then stamped the leaves in Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron & Old Olive and cut them out using the dies. I finished off with a little bit of Silver Leaves. I then added the sentiment layers and stamped in Shaded Spruce. I added a few 2021-2023 Opal Rounds and splashed around the Wink of Stella to add a little sparkle.

I layered the inside of my card using Shaded Spruce and Basic White.  I stamped the Leaves in Shaded Spruce but I didn't add a sentiment message to the inside of the card, as the words on the front can be used for many occasions.

A simple card with plenty of uses.

Week 30 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Mint Macaron

Hello and Welcome to week 30 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. we will be featuring the colour Mint Macaron. As green is my favourite colour I really didn't have any problem with this card. I wanted to keep it very simple so I made a Christmas card, in a DL size.

I started with a Mint Macaron Card base, this colour is part of the Subtles collections. I then added a silver foil layer and then another Mint Macaron Layer that I stamped with Versa Mark and Embossed with Silver Embossing powder and the leaves from the Leave of Holly Stamp set. I then added my Sentiment tag that I made to fit across the width of the card and stamped Christmas Wishes from the same set. 

 

I attached this using dimensionals and finished off with the lovely Festive Pearls in silver. plain and simple but I think that it's effective.

 My insert was stamped using Mint Macaron ink placing the leaves in the top and bottom corners and peace and joy in the middle. once again plain and simple. Week 28 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Mint Macaron

 

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 28 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Mint Macaron, this colour is part of the Subtles collection and a beautiful dusty green.

I have chosen to make a card design that I haven't done in a while, it's simple and very plain but I like it. I started with a Mint Macaron card Base and added a Basic white layer before adding my DSP from the Expressions in Ink paper pack. I love this pack as they are beautiful swirls and whirls that make it so easy to use for any occasion. 

 

 I also used the Color and Contour Bundle to stamp my flowers and cut them out. I stamped the outline in Garden Green and then the fill colour was Mint Macaron on Mint Macaron card stock. I added 2 circles and Happy Birthday to finish off the front of this very plain card. As this card fold in the centre it's not wise to put to much on the pop up piece as it wont slide through the slit in the middle of the card.

 

 The back of the card has a lovely writing panel so you have a space to write your message. I have also kept this very plain as well. Sometimes it's just nice to have a plain card.  All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. #82 (21) Frame card in a Box

Hi Everyone, Here is another tutorial for you all. This beautiful Frame Card in a Box is just so pretty and I think it could be used for all sorts of occasions. Week 27 Colour Creations Showcase - Mint Macaron

Week 27 Mint Macaron

 

 Hello and Welcome to week 27 of the Colour Creations Showcase. We are part of the Art with Heart Team Australia and are showcasing all the colours in the Stampin' Up! Family week by week. This week our colour is Mint Macaron and as green is my favourite colour I found this one really easy to work with. You really would call it a minty green colour and this is part of the Subtles collection. I decided I would do another Christmas card as we are so close to Christmas. I have used the Warm and Toasty Stamp set along with the Snowflake Wishes Bundle.

I haven't made a box card on years and I just really wanted to make one so here is my version. The DSP is my own design I took a piece of whisper white card and stamped the snowflakes all over it and the I used Soft Sea Foam and sponged with all over so that it didn't look so white. I made my Box from Mint Macaron card and then added my DSP layers. I did so reverse stamping using the Silicon Mat and then coloured the  Scarves and beenie's using my marker pens. After cutting them all out I placed then into the Box Card and added so silver snow flakes as well. I decided I would stamp my sentiment onto Window Sheet so using the Stazon Pad I stamped my greeting.

 

                      

I attached it to the front of the box using glue dots and it looks as though it is just floating there. I like how this turned out.

I placed a writing panel on the back of the card that I stamped using the Mint Macaron ink But I left this panel white. the whole card folds flat and fits into a 6 x 6 inch envelope.
