Week 31 Lemon Lime Twist - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and Welcome to week 31 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Called "Lemon Lime Twist" and I really love this colour. It a kind of bright green, and as green is my favourite colour I didn't have to try very hard to come up with a card for you all.

I started with a Lemon Lime Twist card base and added a Mossy Meadow layer and then some DSP from the Flowering Zinnias (this is an online exclusive product). I wanted to use something that I haven't used in a while so I chose the Ice Cream Swirl bundle to create a lovely Vanilla and Lime ice cream cone.

I added a piece of card to make a stick, sticking out of the ice cream with my Happy Birthday on it, and red sprinkles on the ice cream. It look so nice I had the worst craving for ice cream after......lol   I finished off the front of the card with the sequins in the same colour.

I kept the inside of the card plain and added my Mossy Meadow layer and Basic White the stamped the cherries down the left-hand side using the blends to colour them in. I just added make a wish for my sentiment.

All the items I used for this project can be found either as an online exclusive or in the 2024-25 Stampin' up! Annual catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card that I made please feel free to contact me. Likewise if you would like to purchase these product.

Week 2 - Petunia Pop Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome, Sorry I couldn't join you all last week for the start, as I was away. But here I am with week 2. So this week we are featuring another of the 2024-2026 Incolor range called Petunia Pop. I love this colour I can see me using it quite a bit.

For me I wanted to do a project that would also feature the new Bundle called Hearts & Hugs. This is such a cute bundle. So I used the arms stretched hamster.

This is called a Pull Tab card. such a lovely idea. Starting with a Petunia Pop Card base I then added a Melon Mambo layer. I then cut a slit into my DSP so that I could make the pull tab. Then attaching my image to the end of the tab, and ribbon to the other end. placing dimensionals on the back of the DSP so that the tab will move.

Once you pull the tab you can see the message underneath. I am loving this style of card and have made a few already for my Facebook group and YOUTUBE channel. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card with another Hamster leaving plenty of room for writing a message as well. I coloured both the Hamster using Crumb Cake blends. This is what I would call a happy card.

All the items used in this project can be found in the New 2024-25 Annual Catalogue that went live on the 1st May 2024. I'm looking forward to being able to show more of the new product and some of the carrying over product over the coming weeks - Months. If you would like to know more about these product or my card design please feel free to contact me.

Week 50 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Tahitian Tide

Hello and Welcome to the last Colour Creation Blog-hop from the 2023-24 catalogue. We have come to the end and finishing on yet another colour that will be retiring Tahitian Tide. This was another of the 22-24 Incolour range and probably my favourite of them all. So I thought I would finish off with a whimsical card featuring 2 stamp set that are also retiring. Taco Fiesta & Supremely Awesome. So as I have done through out the year I started with a Tahitian Tide card base. I then stamped the checkered stamp along the left-hand side of the next layer and also stamped the pizza guy next to it. I coloured his pants using Tahitian Tide ink and a water pen, colouring his hands and face as well. Then just the Pizza leaving the rest of him looking like the head chef. I then used the Taco Fiesta set to stamp the pepper, Taco and Avocado, colouring them in using the blend pens. I then fussy cut them out and attached them to the front of the card down the checkered area. I added my sentiment from the Supremely Awesome set stamped in Tahitian Tide and then layered this onto another piece of the card stock. I placed this on an angle to give a little more interest. Finishing off the front with the Adhesive backed Sequins.

I wanted to follow the theme over to the inside of the card so I stamped the checkered strip down the left-hand side of the card them same as on the front. Then I stamped the Guacamole bowl and corn chip along with some more peppers. Colouring them in as well.

It is so sad to see so many lovely stamp sets and bundles retiring, but there are so many lovely new sets coming out in the new 24-25 annual catalogue I know we are going to have heaps of fun creating with them.
If you would like to know more about these product preset or upcoming please feel free to contact me.
