Week 33 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Misty Moonlight

Hi Everyone, welcome to week 33 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, and the last one in 2023. But we will be back 3rd January 2024 to carry on the rest of the colours. So this week we are featuring Misty Moonlight, this is a Neutrals collection colour. This is a pretty blue and goes really nicely with lots of other colours in the Stampin' Up! range. I have chosen a stamp set from the Online store, called Feathered Flight to showcase this colour.

So I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and added a Balmy Blue layer and then the DSP from the Countryside Inn pack (I love this paper). The one that I chose has birds on it and I thought wit went with the stamp set. I then added another Balmy Blue layer with a Basic White for my Stamping. I stamped in Misty Moonlight. I added dimensionals for the back of these layers and attached off set for extra interest. Finishing off the from with Iridescent Rhinestones.

I followed the theme over to the inside of the card using Balmy Blue and Basic White, and Stamping in Misty Moonlight. I don't know who this card will end up going to at this stage. But I'm sure they will like it. I know that Hubby (Shane) and Paul liked it very much.

All the card stock used in this project can be found in the Annual 2023-24 Stampin' Up! Catalogue, the stamp set can be found in the Online store and is only available while stocks last. If you would like to more about these product please feel free to contact me.

  1. Di, I had totally overlooked this gorgeous stamp set until I saw your card and now it's on my wish list! Love your monochrome colour combo of Balmy Blue, Basic White and Misty Moonlight.

  2. The ducks were a great choice for a Misty Moonlight card. I especially love the ducks on the inside of your fabulous card.

  3. Balmy Blue is a lovely complement to Misty Moonlight, and you've used it beautifully, Di. I love the rhinestones on the front, and the stamping inside the card. Very nicely done!

  4. Beautiful card Di, the ducks look lovely with the whimsy of the Countryside Inn DSP

  5. I hadn't even noticed this stamp set, but how good does it look with the blues and white?!! Those ducks are adorable.
