Week 31 of the 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Lost Lagoon

 


Hello all and welcome to my Blog. Sorry I have been away awhile but my leg (from the knee replacement) has really set me back more than I thought it would. Anyway here we are with week 31 and our feature colour is Lost Lagoon.  So I thought I would make a Birthday card for my Husband Shane who's birthday is on the 20th of December. This is what I came up with.


it's called a Pop up Aperture card. and this is the front view. No that's not a mistake at the bottom where the crease is, that's how it's suppose to look. So I started with a Lost Lagoon card base and added Basic White layers and the DSP from the Bright and Beautiful collection. I stamped and cut out using the He's All That bundle from the Annual Catalogue.


But when you open the card you get this lovely aperture in the pop up section. This really brings the card to life. I know that Shane is going to love me card so I'm happy. All the items used in this project are from the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or the Card design please feel free to contact me.

    This card is a gift in itself, Di! Great work - it looks fantastic. I like the flagged/banner theme carried over from the front to the inside, along with the "eyelets" in all the corners. The frame on the main sentiment panel finishes it off beautifully.

    Di, so lovely to have you back. I love your Pop up Aperture card and I'm sure your husband will too. My eldest son's birthday is 21st December so I know from personal experience how important it is to celebrate December birthdays.
