Week 5 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Wild Wheat

Wild Wheat a 2023-25 Incolor

Hello and welcome to week 5 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring the last of the new Incolors called Wild Wheat. To me it's a dark mustard colour and I'm not sure about it yet. Hopefully it will grow on me.

So I have chosen to make a card that only feature colours no DSP. I started me card with a Basic Black base and using the deckled edge dies I cut the top and bottom of my card to match the other deckles. I added a Wild Wheat layer and then another Basic Black layer finishing with a Basic White that I stamped using the Beside Me Stamp set. Colouring in the image using the Blends Combo Packs in Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, Real Red & Black. Finishing around the image with Pool Party. I then added the Incolor Ribbon in Wild Wheat and a Few of the Glossy Dots on the same colour. All my stamping was done in Black Memento using the Beside Me & Happy Labels stamp sets.

My insert was kept very plain with just a little stamping, but I used the Deckled Dies for the layering to match the outside.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or you would like to purchases them, Please feel free to contact me either by Phone, Email or PM.

Week 4 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-hop - Pebbled Path a 2023-25 Incolor

Week 4 23-24 Colour Creations Blog-hop
Pebbled Path a 2023-25 Incolor

Hello and Welcome to week 4, this week our colour is called Pebbled Path. To me it looks like a browny- gray colour I'm not sure if I like this one yet. But I can see that it will be great for male cards.
So this week I have done a card the I saw on Pinterest and I thought I would like to make this as it would appeal to a teenage group or young adult. So I set about making it I couldn't find anyone who had measurements so I can't give credit to anyone.
It's a Sneaker shoe card and I think it's rather snazzy.

I think I should have made the top part of the shoe a little smaller, but I am happy with the way it turned out. So I started with a Basic Black card base and added a Basic White layer. I then cut out a Pebbled Path layer and strip. I added stitching lines using the Basic Gray Marker and then used the eyelets from the Tailor Made Tags dies and then cut 1/8th inch strips to look like shoe laces.

I Stamped the images from the He's All That Stamp set using Pebbled Path ink, and cut out the circle from the Reach For The Stars Dies. I added 2 of the Incolor Glossy Dots to look like the little breather holes on the side of the shoe. I think this is a great card for a male or teen, what do you think?

My insert is just a Basic White stamped from the same set using Pebbled Path ink. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this project of the products used please feel free to contact me so that I might help you with your purchase.

Week 3 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop Moody Mauve a 2023-25 Incolor

Week 3 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop
 Moody Mauve 2023-25 Incolor

Hello and welcome to week 3 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. We are featuring the 5 new incolors for 2023-25 over the first 5 weeks and this week we have Moody Mauve for you. To me it's a dusty pink colour pretty but unsure if I will use it much at the moment. But I'm sure as time goes on I will find myself using it a fair bit as I do like pinky colours.  I have chosen to use a carry over product for this card as I thought I could make this card to any occasion.

So starting with a Basic White card base I added the Moody Mauve layer and then stamped the next Basic White layer using the Sending Smiles Stamp Set, I stamped the leaves using Old Olive and the flower tips using Moody Mauve. I then added some Old Olive and Crushed Curry using the Blending Brushes. I cut out the word Sending and Stamped the rest of the message onto the card directly. Finishing off the front with some of the lovely Incolor Glossy Dots.

I didn't add a sentiment to the inside of the card, that way I can use it for lots of occasions. I just stamped the same flower stem and flower and layered it onto Moody Mauve layer and then added a strip on the left-hand side to balance out the insert. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, if you would like to know more about these product or would like to purchase them please feel free to contact me via email, phone or PM so that I can help you.

Week 2, 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Copper Clay

Week 2, 2023-24 Colour Creations Blog-Hop. Copper Clay 2023-2025 Incolor.

Hello and Welcome to week 2 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring Copper Clay another of the lovely 2023-25 Incolors. This one I like a lot. It's a beautiful brown and I can see this one being used quite a bit by me.

I thought I would try a technique I have never done before called Retiform, I must admit I was happy with this design, it really is a bit different.

I started with a Copper Clay card base and added a Basic White layer. then I cut another layer in Basic White and using a black pen I drew in the lines that I wanted to stamp my images into. I stamped my images from the In the Moment and Beside Me Stamp sets.Colouring them all in using my marker pens. I then used a Dauber and the Copper Clay ink pad to define each area. Stamping my sentiment into the last section. I then glued this to my Basic White layer and on to the front of the card, finishing off with the Incolour Glossy Dots.

I wanted to carry the theme over to the inside of the card so I sectioned off one corner and stamped an image here are coloured and defined as before. Also going around the edge of the whole piece of Basic White Card. I stamped my message using the Copper Clay ink. I think this is an amazingly effective design.

All the items used in this project are from the current 2023-24 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this design or the items used please feel free to contact me either by Email, Phone or PM. So that I might help you with information or purchase of products.

Week 1 2023-2024 Colour Creations Blog-Hop

                   Week 1-: 2023-2024 Colour Creations Blog-Hop. Boho Blue a 2023-2025 Incolor.

Hello and welcome to our new year of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. We are starting off the year with the 5 new incolors then heading into the new and returning core colours before going through the list of all the other colours in alphabetical order. So we are starting with Boho Blue, it's a really pretty blue not to dark but not to light either. As I haven't decided what new bundles and stamps I want yet I thought I would use a stamp set and dies that have carried over from the previous catalogue. So I saw this style of card on Pinterest and it's called a Fracture card. So I thought I would have a go.

I started out with a Basic White card base and added a Night of Navy layer. I then used the stylish shapes dies and cut a square out of the top Boho Blue layer. layering this onto my Navy layer, I then cut another square smaller in Boho Blue and placed this into the middle of the original square. I then cut strips and glued them around the square so that it looked like I had cut my top layer into pieces. I then used the Pansy Patch stamp set to make my flower stamping in Night of Navy and Boho Blue. I cut it out using the matching dies and mounted onto the front of the card.

Finishing off the front of the card by stamping my sentiment along the bottom and added the new 2023-2025 incolor Dots in Boho Blue. A simple card and yet I think it is effective.

I layered my insert with Night of Navy and Basic White before stamping in Boho Blue. (please excuse my ink spot on the top right have side) that happened after I have glued it into place. All the items used in this project can be found in the New 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these products, and you would like to purchased them please feel free to contact me via email, phone or PM. So that I can help you.

Week 50 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Soft Suede

Hi Everyone and Bye Everyone, This is the last 2022-2023 Blog Hop. So sad to see us come to the end of year. But with so many new and returning colours I'm sure we will have lots of fun next time around. Well we are finishing off the year with a colour that is retiring as well Soft Suede, a bit sad as this is a colour that I like when making male cards. But I'm sure there will be more to choices coming up. Soft Suede is a lovely brown that always look as though it's been brushed to me. So I thought I would send this one off with a bang. I was looking for inspiration and saw something similar in the mini Catalogue so I took elements for the cards and came up with my version.

I started with the Soft Suede and added a Crumb Cake Layer and then the DSP from the Legendary Ride Bundle. I then cut out the bike, jacket, gloves helmet and bag from the DSP and added them to the Circle that I cut out from the Stylish Shapes dies. I then cut out the tag as well from the same die set. Stamping them both with Soft Suede and the layering the cut out onto the circle. I'm glad the Stylish Shapes and the Legendary Ride sets are carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue. I finished off the front using the dot from the same set.

I will be giving this one to my dad for his birthday in June, he will be turning 90. I know he will love it. But his probably a little biased.....lol   I layered the inside with Crumb Cake and Basic White and Stamped my message and the spanners.

Except for the DSP,  embellishments and Soft Suede Card and Ink pad all other items used in this project will be carrying over. This other items will be while stock lasts or until the end of the Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this projects or the items used please feel free to contact me via email, phone or PM so that I can help you.

Week 49 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Soft Succulent

Wow here we are with only one more week of the 2022-2023 Colour Creations Blog-Hop, where has the year gone? So we are featuring a colour that will retire it is one of the 2021-2023 Incolors called Soft Succulent. It's a really pretty pale green and as green is my favourite  colour I will be sad to see it go. But with so many new colours coming with the new catalogue I'm sure I will get over it soon. I saw this card design done by a US demonstrator called Susan Campfield and with her permission I have created my version with Australian sizes.

It's called a Seagull card and I love this design. I have made mine using Soft Succulent for the base card and added Early Espresso layer and the lovely He's the Man DSP. This card will be great to add to my stash for them men as I really have been trying to make more male cards this year. I also added a writing panel to the back of my card as Susan hadn't done this.

Unfortunately all of these product will be retiring so If you would like any or them you will have to be quick as it's first come first serve. when they are gone they are gone for ever :(

If I can help you with a purchase of these product please feel free to contact me via Phone, email or PM.
