Week 32 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Night of Navy

Hello and welcome to week 32 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our feature colour is called Night of Navy, and as the name suggests this colour is a lovely Navy Blue. So I thought I would make a lovely stepper card to show off all of the lovely colours.

I started with Night of Navy for the card base and I added Melon Mambo and using Hues of Happiness DSP to show up all of the squares on this card. I also added the same layers to the square on the top of the steps and on the back of the card.

I finished off my card front with a flower from the same DSP and stamped Friend from that matching stamp set. popping these all up of the lovely Decorative Circle Punch and the Double Oval Punch. the embellishments are from the Glossy Dots Assortment. On the back of the card I added a larger square for my writing panel. All the stamping was done in Night of Navy. This card folds flat and will fit into a regular envelope.

All the products used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or the card, please feel free to contact me via email, Phone or PM so that I can help you.

Week 28 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Melon Mambo

Hugs Diane xx
Hello and welcome to week 28 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop, this week our feature colour is called Melon Mambo. It's a beautiful bright pink, and one of my favourite colours in the Stampin' Up! range. I have chosen a lovely fancy fold card this week to show case this colour. it's called a Diamond faceted easel card. I think this card really does bring out the best in these colours.

I started with a Melon Mambo card base and my layers are Granny Apple Green and the beautiful Hues of Happiness DSP. I also stamped the inside of the card using the matching stamp set for the outline of the flowers stamped in Melon Mambo. Finishing off the side stopper for the easel with the lovely Bufferfly Brilliance dies and Gold foil card. I also used the lovely Glossy Dots Assortment.

Where do you write your personal message I hear you ask? well that is done on the back of the card. As this is a 5 3/4 inch (14.6cm) card I added a writing panel to the back of the card, with plenty of space to write.

This card does lay flat and fits into a 6in (15.2cm) square envelope. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product of the card design please feel free to contact me via - email, PM or phone.

Week 27 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Mango Melody

Hello and welcome to week 27 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring Mango Melody, this is a lovely rich Golden Yellow. It's so nice that it goes with so many other colours so easily. Mango Melody is part of the Brights Collection. So I have teamed it up with Night of Navy and Basic White.

This fancy fold card is called a Hexagon base card and it folds flat and fits into a 6inch square envelope. I started with the Night of Navy and added my layers in Mango Melody, my DSP is one of my favourite from the annual catalogue called Hues of Happiness. I used the dies from the Hues of Happiness Bundle to cut out the filigree pattern on the white layer. I then stamped the flowers from the same set and water painted them using Mango Melody ink and the Water Painters. I stamped my sentiment in mango melody flagging both end and place this also on the top.

As you can see from the side view the top sits up on an angle. I have added a writing panel to the back for you to write your own message.

pushing in the bottom hexagon panel the whole card fold flat nicely and fits into a 6inch square envelope. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these products, or you would like to know more about this fancy fold please feel free to give me a Call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 23 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Gorgeous Grape

Hello and welcome to week 23 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week we are featuring the colour Gorgeous Grape part of the Bights collection and it one of my favourites.

I thought it would be nice to make a box card. So I started with Gorgeous Grape card base and added Highland Heather layers and DSP from the lovely Hues of Happiness. I also used the lovely Mini Pocket Envelope dies to add a pocket to the front of the card. This way I have a present and card in one, as this holds a gift card. All the stamping was done using the Celebrating You stamp set and Gorgeous Grape Ink. I finished off the front of the card with the Pastel Pearls.

For that back of my card I once again stamped with the Celebrating you Stamp set. But keeping it plain.

So what did I put inside the box on the side of the card......Well it was one of those miniature bottles of Johnny Walker. What a great idea for someone special. I think this would look really great as a male card.

No gift card was hurt during the making of this card (as I didn't have one)......ha ha ha. All of the card items used in this project can be found in the Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. I would never have purchased the little Mini Pocket Envelope dies if I hadn't had a chance to used France McFaul's on a crafty afternoon last month. But I am now loving it. I can see so many ways to use it. If you would like to know more about the product I have used or would like to purchase them, please feel free to give me a Call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 14 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Coastal Cabana

Hi there and welcome to week 14 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Coastal Cabana, this is from the Brights Collection. A lovely Turquoise colour and I love it. I decided to team it up with Bermuda Bay, as I think these two colours go together really well. So I started with a Bermuda Bay card base and added the Coastal Cabana layer I stamped this layer using the Happiness Abounds stamp set just to give the outline of the flowers. I them added 3 scalloped circle layers using the layering circles dies before adding one of the flowers from the matching DSP. I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set and used the Stylish Shapes dies. Finishing off the front with some Basic rhinestones.

I curled the flower and added the leaves using dimensionals. I painted the whole flower using Wink of Stella.

My insert was a layer of Coastal Cabana and Basic White card Stamping the flower outline again to match the front of the card and a simple Best Wishes. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like more information on these products please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 9 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Blackberry Bliss

Hi Everyone, welcome to week 9. This week our colour is called Blackberry Bliss, but it's not Bliss for me as I don't like this colour at all. You will find this colour in the Regals Collection. I personally really have a problem working with this colour, but this is what I came up with.

I chose to start with a Basic White card base and add Blackberry Bliss as my layer. I then added the beautiful Hues of Happiness DSP for my stopper on my Easel card. I added a Basic White layer to the Diamond Easel section, this I used the die from the Happiness Abounds Bundle so that the Blackberry Bliss could be seen through it. I then stamped the Flowers from the same bundle and coloured using the Blend Pens in both Light & Dark.

I added more layers of Blackberry Bliss and DSP at the back of the card. This way when the card is flat and pulled out of the envelope the Pattern flows. Adding a Basic White insert for my sentiment to finish off the card.

Considering this is not a colour that I work with very often, I was pleased with the results. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this fancy fold or the products used, Please feel free to contact me either by Phone, Email or PM.

Week 1 Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2022-23 Orchid Oasis

Hi everyone, Yes that's right we are heading around the Stampin' Up! Colour pallet again. We will be starting with the new Incolors for 2022-2024, and they are so beautiful and bright you are going to love them. Our 1st colour is called Orchid Oasis. This is a lovely purple/blue colour and I love it. (a bit bias).

I thought I would do a square card for a change and decided I wanted to water paint the flower. So I started my card with a Orchid Oasis card base and added a Basic White layer then a layer from the Tea Boutique DSP (which is so pretty) I curled over the top corner and added 2 tags from the Tailored Tags dies add a couple of flowers from the Hues of Happiness DSP and some Evening Evergreen ribbon. I stamped my flower and using my water painter brush painted the main flower. Finishing off the front with the beautiful iridescent Rhinestones.

I finished off the inside of my card very plainly not to take anything away from the outside. All the stamping was done with memento and Orchid Oasis ink pads. All the items used in this project are in the Current Annual 2022-23 Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or would like to purchase them please feel free to give me a call, email or PM.
