Week 24 - Colour Creations Showcase - Mango Melody

 Week 24 Mango Melody

Hello and welcome to week 24 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Showcase. This week our colour is Mango Melody and really rich orangey yellow I love it. You will find this colour as part of the Brights Collections it's comes in A4 Card stock, Classic Ink Pad and Refill, along with Blends combo Pens and DSP.
I have chosen to use the Daisy Lane stamp set for my card and I made my own DSP.

I started my project with a Mango Melody card base and added a whisper white layer before using the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder on the Mango Melody layer. I then cut out the edging in So Saffron to place either side of my middle panel. I then sponged the whole panel in So Saffron so that is wasn't so brightly white. Then using the dies from the Ornate Thanks Bundle. I placed this panel onto dimensionals and added a scalloped and plain circle to the centre. I then added 2  rectangles over the top to add some interest, and stamped Lets Celebrate you from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.

My insert was very basic I added a Whisper white layer to stamp my sentiment onto. The stamp set used here is the So Sentimental set as I really love the set and use it a lot.
All the items used in this project can be found in the current 2020-2021 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, if you would like to purchase these items please give me a call, email or PM so that I might help you with your purchase.

  4. Such a beautiful card, Diane! Despite my aversion to So Saffron, I really love the look of it on your card, to tone down the brightness of Mango Melody. Great choice of floral stamp set, too. Love this!

  8. Sweet and pretty, Diane. So Saffron looks gorgeous with Mango Melody, what a lovely combination. The embossing on Mango Melody looks fantastic behind the really soft look of the front panel.
