Wow only 117 Days until Christmas as of the 29th August 2018 and here we are at week 3 of the Heart of Christmas Blog-Hop 2018.
My card for this week is not a new concept by I like it and I think I will be making a few of these for the Girls at work for Christmas.

It is called at "Box in a Card" and I think it is rather sweet. I have used the new "Dashing Along" D.S.P. as well as the "Merry Christmas to All" Bundle that goes live in the New Holiday Catalogue on September 5th 2018 as well as an old favourite Pretty Pines Thinlits (which is still in the Annual Catalogue).
I added an insert to the card in Whisper White and the main card is in Cherry Cobbler. I cut the pine cones using Crumb Cake and Early Espresso, and the leave from Garden Green. The Christmas was cut from Gold Glimmer paper.
All the products used for this project are in the 2018 -2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2018 Holiday Catalogue (that goes live on September 5th 2018) If you would like to purchase any of or all of these products please call me or PM me so that I might help you. The only Item that can't be purchased is the "Dashing Along" D.S.P. as this is a Host Promotion which starts on the 1st September

Colour Creations - Crumb Cake

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-13-crumb-cake/
Hi Everyone, we are now at week 13, and this weeks colour is Crumb Cake. Wow this was going to be a challenge I thought, I had to make a card for my good friend Denis' Birthday and this is what I came up with. It just seemed to go together as if I had planned it that way.
I used the crumb cake card for my base and added wood Textures D.S.P. to the front of the card along with a small strip of glimmer paper. I cut out 2 square using the layering square framelits one in crumb cake and the other in gold foil sheet. and my 3 banners as in Black, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake. I then stamped the tree from the Rooted in Nature Bundle in Early Espresso ink and cut it out.
I layered this all up using dimensionals and stamped my sentiment using the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set. I wrapped a small amount of the Mini Sequin Trim around the sentiment squares and added a gold faceted gem.
I added a very vanilla insert and stamped my insert message along with a few leave. I was so pleased with the way this card turned out and Denis loved it.
All the items used to make this card can be found in the 2018-2019 annual catalogue. If you would like to purchase all or any of these product please contact me so that I can help you.
Hugs Diane.

Colour Creations - Coastal Cabana

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-12-coastal-cabana/
Hi Everyone, Week 12 here, and the colour this week is Coastal Cabana, Love, Love, Love this colour. My card this week uses the "Time for Tea" Bundle and "Tearoom" D.S.P.

I also used the Coloured Doilies and "Label me Pretty" Stamp Set and coordinating punch. I stamped tone on tone for the teacup and label so that it would match the D.S.P. and cut the teacup and flowers using the big shot.
I mounted the doily and teacup with dimensionals before placing them on the front of the card. I did the same for the sentiment tag as well. I then added Basic pearls to finish off the front of the card.
I added an insert to the inside of the card but left this blank until I need to use the card. I must admit that I didn't purchase the coloured doilies I pinched one of Mum's but they are on list of must haves.
All of the items used in this project can be found in the current 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these items please give me a call, so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Cherry Cobbler

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-11-cherry-cobbler/
Hi Everyone,
Well here we are at week 11 and Cherry Cobbler is the colour.
What a nice Christmas colour a really rich red I love it.
I decided I would make my first Christmas Card for the Season. This card is called a "Peek Through" Card and I will have tutorial for this on my Facebook page later in August. I used the Cherry Cobbler as my main card colour, with Under the Mistletoe D.S.P. along with the stamp set Christmas Pines.

I used my Big shot to cut out the Layering Ovals and Stitched ovals along with the Pine Cones and Bow. (Bow and Pine Cones from the Pretty Pines Thinlits) I used Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Garden Green ink for all my Stamping.
I placed a Whisper White insert to the inside of the card and stamped this to give it a really Christmas look. All of the Products used to make this project are available in the 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these product please give me a call so that I can help you with your purchase.
You can find more Cherry Cobbler creations from Catherine's Page here.

Marker Solution

Hi Everyone,

As a fairly new Hobby Demonstrator I could not afford to purchase all of the Marker pen collections in the carry case. So I had to purchase them 1 pack at a time. But the horrible acetate container that they come in does last very long when you are putting the pens in and out. So I decided to purchase the Standard cases 119105 from the Stampin' Up! catalogue to keep them in. I placed a piece of D.S.P. in the sleeve and printed out a list of colors for the pens to glue on the inside of the case. I also cut the front off of the acetate sleeve and placed this in the front of the case so I know at a glance which set is which. This is so much easier and user friendly. Hope this Idea helps someone.

Colour Creations - Calypso Coral

http://whatcathymade.com.au/awh-colour-creations-blog-hop-week-10-calypso-coral/
Hi Everyone, We are now up to week 10 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week the colour is "Calypso Coral" Mmm not sure how you would describe this colour, sort of a deep peach is my guess. My card this week is rather spiffy as my mum said. It's a really big card and I had to make a box for it to fit into as you can see in the Photo.
It's not my own idea I saw it online. But I thought it was rather nice for a change. The card measures 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 square and as the bow tabs hang over the edge of the card the box is slightly larger.  I used Calypso Coral Card stock as well as Very Vanilla and Gold Foil Sheet. The D.S.P. is from the Tea Room Collection and the Stamp set is the beautiful you set.
I used my layering ovals Dies to make the bows and then curled them around on to themselves and layered them on top of each other. I Stamped the lady twice once on the Very Vanilla card and once on the D.S.P. and cut out the dress and hat before gluing them over the stamped image.
I also stamped her again on the insert. I was really pleased with the result of this card and I am thinking of making another one in a Christmas Theme.
I then made the box using the calypso Coral card for the lid along with the same D.S.P. and the base I made from the Very Vanilla. I also made another bow and attached a Tag using the Ribbon from the Tea Times Suite, before finishing off with some basic pearls.

You will find all the items used for this project in the 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchased any or all of these items please give me a call, I would love to help you.
