Week 3 - Pretty in Pink Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 3 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring Pretty in Pink. This is one of the 2024-26 Incolors and I think this is a really lovely pink. I have chosen to make a card for the Tradie Ladies, and am so happy with how it turned out.

I started with a Pretty in Pink card base, and added a Misty Moonlight layer followed by the DSP called Country Woods. I then cut out the peg board from the Trusty Tools bundle and cut this into sections and layered onto so more Misty Moonlight card stock. I then stamped some of the tools from the same set and coloured them with my Pretty in Pink Blends. using the dies to cut them out I then arranged the peg board and tools some glued flat to the card and other on dimensionals. I finished off the front of the card with a sentiment from the same set and the new Incolor Resin Dots.

For the insert I layered my Basic white onto Misty Moonlight card after stamping. I stamped the Paint Brush top and bottom of the page and coloured with Pretty in Pink ink. I stamped my sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set.

All the items used in my project this week can be found in the 2024-25 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product please feel free to contact me so that I might help you.

Week 41 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Poppy Parade

Hello and welcome to you all. This week we are featuring Poppy Parade, This is a lovely bright red colour and part of the Brights Collection. I have chosen to make a male card this week using the Trusty Tools Bundle and the DSP from the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue. I'm really loving this set as it's just so lovely for a man....
This is called a Criss Cross Card, so I started with a Poppy Parade card base and using the lovely DSP added my front layers to the card. I then punch out the Decorative Circle and added a 2inch plain circle, that I stamped with the nuts & screw stamp. I cut the tools out of the DSP and placed these on top. Attaching to the front of the card with dimensionals.  The insert for this card slides out for you to write your message onto. I stamped my message at the top and more of the nuts and screws.

But I don't like cards that wont stand up on their own, so I added a stand to the back of the card so that it can be displayed nicely.

All the items used in this project a current at the time of being published, but the DSP will finish on the 29th Feb 2024 as this is a Sale-a-Bration item. If you would like to know more about these product on the design of my card please feel free to contact me. I have no idea who will receive this card at the present time. But I'm sure they will like it as much as I do.

Week 36 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Old Olive

Hello and welcome to week 36 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our feature colour is Old Olive. It's a lovely green and as you would know if following the blog green is my favourite colour. So I really didn't have much of an issue working with it. But I chose to pair it with Crushed Curry. and they are the only colours that I used.

So I started my card using a Crushed Curry card base and added the Old Olive layer. Using the DSP from the Sale-a-brations catalogue as the next layer. I then stamped all of my tools for the lovely Trusty Tools Bundle that is in the 2024 Jan-April Mini Catalogue. (so great to see a lovely male stamp set) I then coloured the handles on the Hammers and Spanners using the Old Olive blends. Stamping the Centre of the tape measures and the sentiment tabs in Old Olive. Adding a couple of silver spanners as well to finish off the front of the card along with some Iridescent Rhinestones.

This card design is called a 3 Towers card and I think that the male theme really works well on it. I'm really loving this set and have used it many times already and can see it being used even more. To finish the card I also added a writing panel to the back so you have somewhere to write your message.

This card is a larger card 7x5 inches, but I have also done this in the smaller size that also look as impressive. If you would like to know more about this design or the products used please feel free to contact me.

Week 35 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop 2023-24 - Night of Navy

Hi Everyone and welcome to week 35 of the colour creations blog hop. This week our feature colour is Night of Navy. I do like this colour but I did find it a little hard to come up with a design for this week.  I ended up using the same design as I have for my YOUTUBE channel (this will go live on Sunday 14th) This is a Swing Arm Card. I have made this before but I wanted to revisit it.

Here it is, I started with a Night of Navy card base and added a Basic White layer. Using the DSP from the Rock & Roll pack, as I thought this looked like some paint. I also used the Trusty Tools Bundle for the sentiment tag and paint brushes for the front of the card. I made my swing are using the deckled Circles. Finishing off the front with iridescent rhinestones.

The right-hand arm swings open so that you can open the card. When doing the inside of the card I used the Rock Star stamp set as I thought the words looked as though they had been painted. I did my insert stamping in Night of Navy. Using the nuts and bolts in the corners.

A lovely male card, I'm loving the fact that there are a few more male sets in the new Jan-April Mini Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or the card design, please feel free to contact me.
