Week 13 Boho Blue - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to Week 13 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. our feature colour this week is yet another blue, called Boho Blue. Another pretty colour. I have chosen an old classic style for this card and once again using the Country Flowers Bundle. This set is really getting a workout.

I have made an Easel card, this one had a raised front rather than a stopper. I started with a Boho Blue card base and added Blueberry Bushel layer before added the Countryside Inn DSP layer. I added these same layers to the riser and main image section. I then added a Basic White layer to that section as well that I had embossed using the So Swirly Embossing Folder. I then stamped my Stool, Teapot and Flowers From the country Flowers Bundle. Coloured them all and cut them out. I attached all of these with dimensionals. Adding some more of the pretty little flowers and leave to add more interest to the card.

From an angle you can see how the card stand up.

I have kept the writing panel plain and simple as the front of the card says it all. So only have layers in Blueberry Bushel and Basic White. But stamping in Boho Blue.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2024-25 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of these item I would love to be able to help you. Please feel free to contact me.

I wont be Hopping along next week as I will be in Singapore, But I will be back ready for week 15.

Week 12 Blueberry Bushel - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and Welcome, wow here we are at the 1/4 way point. That's gone quick. This week we are featuring Blueberry Bushel. This is a mid blue colour and another colour that I tend to not use to much. I have levitated back towards the Country Flowers bundle and Country Woods DSP. I do really like these and they go together so well.

I used Wild Wheat card for my base and added a Blueberry Bushel layer, before added the Country Wood DSP layers. I had a small cut off of the same paper, turned it over and place this 2/3rd the way down the front. I then stamped and coloured the Stool, Teapot & Flowers from the Country Flower Bundle. Cutting them out and placing them onto the front of the card. I used the Unbounded Love bundle to stamp my sentiment and cut out the frames for it. Finishing off the front of the card with the Incolour Resin Dots.

The inside of my card is a little different. With have both sided decorated. This card is called a Double inside Pocket card. So I started with Blueberry Bushel layers and added the DSP on the right and then folding down the left-hand corners on 2 pieces to make pockets. I then attached these to the left-hand side of the card. I then make 2 small tags to go into the pocket with the same flower on them and a little message of encouragement on them. It a little different but I think you could do this for either male or female. I finished off the inside with a smaller piece of Basic White to write my message onto. All of these items are in the currant 2024-25 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product please feel free to contact me.

Week 11 Blackberry Bliss - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 12 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. Can you believe we are already a quarter way through our colours. This week we are featuring Blackberry Bliss. Not one of my favourite colours I must say. But I managed to come up with something. I have made a card called a Corner Fold Down Card.  I have used the online exclusive Simply Zinnias Bundle.

I started my card with a Blackberry Bliss card base and added a Lemon Lime Twist layer, then the DSP from the suite. I turned down the top part of the card front and added the same layers. I then stamped the Zinnia flower and coloured with Blackberry Bliss blends I also stamped the leaves to match. Cutting these out I attached them to the front of the with dimensionals. I used the Unbounded Love Bundle to cut out the tag and stamped the words from the Simply Zinnia stamp set. I finished off the front with Adhesive backed Metallic Gems.

I layered my insert for the card with the same Lemon Lime Twist card along with Basic White.

Adding some more Zinnias to the inside that I coloured in the same manner. All the items used in this project can be found either in the Current 2024-25 Annual Catalogue or as an Online Exclusive. If you would like to know know more please feel free to contact me so that I might help you.

Week 10 - Berry Burst Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and Welcome to week 11 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Berry Burst, I love this colour it is so pretty. I decided that I wouldn't make a card for you all to see this week, as I was making gift boxes for my YOUTUBE channel, and thought I would love to share this one with you all.

I started out with Berry Burst card stock and using the Simply Zinnia stamp set I stamped tone on tone the large flower all over the card stock. I did that on the piece of card for the front pocket as well. I then made up the Back Pack and added some DSP from the same suite. I place magnets under the flaps so that they can be opens and you can place a lovely gift inside. This bag measures 5inches (13cm) tall 3 3/4 inches (9.5cm) Wide and 1 1/2 inches (3.8cm) deep. So it's a really good size.

I added straps to the back so that it really does look like a Back Pack. I ended up making 4 of these in all, as I really did love the way they turned out. I even did one in male colours so that I could give it to a man and it also really looks good.

All of these items are from the Online exclusive catalogue. The only item that is not available from Stampin' Up! are the magnets. If you would like to know more about this little gift box or the products used please feel free to contact me. I know that 2 of them will be going to some little girls I know and they will love them.
