Week 22 Daffodil Delight - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

Hello and welcome to week 22 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week we are staying with the yellow as the colour is called Daffodil Delight, this is a lovely bright yellow and really does remind you of daffodils. I have chosen to do another little goodie box for you again this week. As I have been trying to do a few different things ready for Christmas. This weeks goodie box is using the Country Birdhouse Bundle and Country Woods DSP.

I started with Daffodil Delight card to give the birdhouse some strength and added the DSP layer over the top. I cut the platform and roof trim from Daffodil Delight to make it look bright and cheerful. Adding a few flowers in Bubble Bath . Then stamping and colouring the little birds in Daffodil Delight.

Making the little box section was really easy and it does hold a love of the chocolates. As you can see from the photo, also you can see that the back of the goodie box is also the same shape as I cut out 2 sets of the birdhouse.

The back of the box was assembles the same as the front leaving off the bird hold and decorations. These are so cute I think I will be making a few more. Week 12 Blueberry Bushel - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

 

Hello and Welcome, wow here we are at the 1/4 way point. That's gone quick. This week we are featuring Blueberry Bushel. This is a mid blue colour and another colour that I tend to not use to much. I have levitated back towards the Country Flowers bundle and Country Woods DSP. I do really like these and they go together so well.

I used Wild Wheat card for my base and added a Blueberry Bushel layer, before added the Country Wood DSP layers. I had a small cut off of the same paper, turned it over and place this 2/3rd the way down the front. I then stamped and coloured the Stool, Teapot & Flowers from the Country Flower Bundle. Cutting them out and placing them onto the front of the card. I used the Unbounded Love bundle to stamp my sentiment and cut out the frames for it. Finishing off the front of the card with the Incolour Resin Dots.

The inside of my card is a little different. With have both sided decorated. This card is called a Double inside Pocket card. So I started with Blueberry Bushel layers and added the DSP on the right and then folding down the left-hand corners on 2 pieces to make pockets. I then attached these to the left-hand side of the card. I then make 2 small tags to go into the pocket with the same flower on them and a little message of encouragement on them. It a little different but I think you could do this for either male or female. I finished off the inside with a smaller piece of Basic White to write my message onto. Week 9 - Basic Gray Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

 

Hello and welcome to week 9 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Basic Gray. Not a colour I tend to use very much, but I dad find it easy to use for this weeks project.

This card is called a Double Fronted Cascade card and I think that Basic Gray suits this card very well. I started with a Basic Gray card base and added a smoky slate layer. I then used the DSP from the Country Woods collection. As I love this bundle I also used the Country Flowers Bundle. I used a Basic White layer for the inside of my card. 

I stamped the Teapot and flowers on the inside of the card and added my message. But I also stamped the same image again and added this to the next layer. I finished off all the layers with some of the pretty flowers and leaves from the dies. I added a Sentiment to the front of the card and used the Happy Labels punch. Finishing off the flowers with the Incolour Shimmer Gems in the centres. I like this card it's simple to make yet looks so effective. Week 3 - Pretty in Pink Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

 

Hello and welcome to week 3 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring Pretty in Pink. This is one of the 2024-26 Incolors and I think this is a really lovely pink. I have chosen to make a card for the Tradie Ladies, and am so happy with how it turned out. 

 I started with a Pretty in Pink card base, and added a Misty Moonlight layer followed by the DSP called Country Woods. I then cut out the peg board from the Trusty Tools bundle and cut this into sections and layered onto so more Misty Moonlight card stock. I then stamped some of the tools from the same set and coloured them with my Pretty in Pink Blends. using the dies to cut them out I then arranged the peg board and tools some glued flat to the card and other on dimensionals. I finished off the front of the card with a sentiment from the same set and the new Incolor Resin Dots.

For the insert I layered my Basic white onto Misty Moonlight card after stamping. I stamped the Paint Brush top and bottom of the page and coloured with Pretty in Pink ink. I stamped my sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set.
