Week 27 Gorgeous Grape - Colour Creations Blog-Hop 2024-25

 

Hello and Welcome to Week 27 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring a colour called Gorgeous Grape. This is a really lovely purple colour and goes well with so many other colours. But I have a card that I made a few weeks back now and I really wanted to showcase it here.

It's a slider card. So I started with a Gorgeous Grape card base and added a Highland Heather layer. Then the DSP from the Simply Zinnia's Online Exclusive Suite. I cut out the Zinnia's from the 2 colours and added Crushed Curry centres to the flowers. The sentiment is from the Unbounded Beauty Bundle.

When you pull the ribbon on the side of the card it will slide along allowing you to see the inside of the card, and write your message. I did all the stamping in Gorgeous Grape for the inside as well as the front of the card. How funny that I laid this on my blanket that happens to be the same colour. I also coloured the flower on the inside to match the front.

As you all know by now I don't like a card that can't stand on it's own. So I added a stand, an white copy paper under it so you could see it.....lol 

The Simply Zinnia's Suite is an online exclusive product from Stampin' Up! but you will find the card stock in the 2024-25 Annual Catalogue along with the Blends.

    Snap on the Zinnia dies and the DSP, Di! Great minds think alike. Love this slider card and you innovative stand on the back of your card. This design would work so well for a gift card too.

    This is really beautiful, Di. I love your choice of DSP, to perfectly complement the gorgeous flowers, and the fancy fold is just fab!

    I adore your Slider card with the Simply Zinnia bundle Di. Your colour combo with the delightful Zinnias works so well. I also love the way you added a stand at the back so your card can stand up for itself. A wonderful card. xxx

    Very pretty, Di. Lovely use of those patterned papers and gorgeous flowers. I love that you added the piece for it to stand up for display, very clever!
