Hello and welcome to week 41 of the Colour Creations showcase, This week our colour is Rich Razzleberry. This is a very rich plum colour and not one of my favourites as I find it hard to work with. But I have managed to come up with a card using the love Artistry Bloom DSP along with Peaceful Moments Bundle and Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.
I made a fun fold card that is called Bi-Fold Shutter Card. I started with the Rich Razzleberry for the base and added a white layer before added the DSP layer, for my insert I turned the layers so that the DSP is under the white layer (easier for writing your message).
I used the DSP to make my poppy from as well as I thought it would add interest to the flower. I added a white ribbon to the bottom of the ovals and then cut out 2 butterflies from silver foil sheet, to finish off the front of the card I added some silver metallic pearls.
My insert as you can see has the DSP behind the white layer I then stamped the tall poppy and coloured using the blends in Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. All my stamping was also done in Rich Razzleberry. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue except the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle with will be in the New Annual Catalogue, but can be purchase now. If you would like to purchase any or all of the products used in this project please give me a call, email or PM me.

ReplyDeleteYour card is fantastic! Great use of DSP, especially on the flower, and I love the Silver Butterflies.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great way to showcase DSP, Di. I love how you die cut the poppy from the paper as well. Beautiful use of colour on your card.
ReplyDeleteLove your card Diane. Your combination of RR cardstock, DSP with Basic White works well with your fancy fold. I haven't seen that specific fold previously. Its great.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Diane. I have never seen this fun fold before and I think it is fantastic. You have certainly showcased RR well, particularly seeing it is not one of your favourites.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, Di, got to love a fancy fold. Using the DSP for your poppy looks great to tie it all in together.

ReplyDeleteClever idea to use the DSP on the card and the poppy.
