Week 33 colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pacific Point

Hello Everyone and Welcome to week 33 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we are featuring the colour Pacific Point. This is a colour from the Brights Collections and is a beautiful rich blue.  I have chosen to feature this colour using the Friends are like Seashells Bundle on page 27 of the Annual Catalogue. I must admit I purchased this set awhile ago but never got around to using it. I also have used a Sale-A-Bration item Simply Marbleous DSP. So I started with a Basic White card base and added my Pacific Point layer and the Simply Marbleous DSP in the Balmy Blue. I then cut out the large seashell die and stamped my images onto the cut out using Pacific Point, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive and Calypso Coral. I then used my blending brushes to colour the leafy area with Soft Sea Foam. After that I used the Embossing folder to add texture to the die cut image, it really pops. Then I mounted this onto the front of my card using dimensionals. I added my sentiment and so star fish, to finish off the front I used Wink of Stella on the seashells to give that wet look.

My inside of the that is also layered with Pacific Point and Basic White I stamped in the feature colour and added a couple of reeds and shells to the bottom left-hand corner.

All the items for this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, with the exception of the Sale-A-Bration DSP which is only available until the 28th February 2022 for FREE with a $90AU order. Week 32 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Old Olive

Hi Everyone, How are we all doing? we are now at week 32 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop and this week our colur is Old Olive. Just as the name says it's really a lovely Olive Green colour.  As green is my favourite colour I didn't have much trouble coming up with a card this week. I wanted to use one of the new stamp sets from the Jan-June Mini Catalogue and decided on the Eden's Garden set.

I teamed my Old Olive with Rich Razzleberry as I thought they went together pretty well. So I started with an Old Olive card base and added a Rich Razzleberry layer then I layed a piece of the Metallic Mesh Ribbon on I then place a Gold Foil layer over this. Before Stamping my leaves from the Eden's Garden stamp set in Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. I then used my Blening Brush to add extra colour over the stamped images. Finishing off with my sentiment stamped using Memento ink and then a few Gold Metallic Pearls. I placed Dimensionals of that back of the Gold Fold to give this layer some height.

The inside of my card reflex the outside as I stamped some more leaves and then coloured over them. This is such a lovely set and I know I will get plenty of use out of it. If you would like to purchase this set, which also comes with some beautiful dies in a bundle or any of the other product I have used in this project please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 31 Colour Creations Blog - Hop - Night of Navy

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 31 of the Art with Heart Team Australia Colour Creations Blog-Hop. (what a mouthful). This week our colour is Night of Navy, being part of the Neutrals collection of colours. I think a really dark blue and this one really is. I have teamed this up with Pacific Point and Balmy Blue for my card this week as they really all go together well. I have also used some of the items from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

I started with a Night of Navy card base and added a basic white layer that I stamped the Awesome Otter onto I then used my Pacific Point write marker to add extra ways and the a dauber and Balmy Blue to finish off the ocean. I then cut out a Balmy Blue layer using the Layering Diorama dies. I then cut another layer in Night of Navy using the next size up die. I finished off the front of the card with the sentiment "It's Birthday Time" form the same stamp set, and added a Holiday rhinestone in Night of Navy.

The inside of my card was kept reasonably plain just stamping the same Otter again and colouring him in using the Blends. I Otters are Free with any $90AU Stampin' Up! order until the 28th February 2022. So If you would like this set please feel free to contact me to place an order either by Phone, PM or Email. Week 30 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop Mossy Meadow

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year to you all. We are back to carry on with out colour creations Blog-Hop this year and at week 30 we have Mossy Meadow for you all. I have chosen to CASE a card from the Annual Catalogue (with my own twist) and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

It's a DL size card and I used the Turtle Friends Bundle, I Started with a Mossy Meadow card base and then added a Basic white layer that I first coloured with garden green and Balmy blue ink using the Blending brushes. I then stamped the grass using Mossy Meadow. I stamped my turtles in Momento Ink and then used my Blends in Mossy Meadow to colour the turtles Mossy meadow light and the Dark for the shell. I then punched them out using the Turtle Punch. I then cut out the clouds from the Give it a Whirl die set before adding my sentiment in the top left corner. I then glued the middle turtle flat and put the other 2 up on dimensionals. I finished off the front with basic rhinestones. So Cute.

The inside of the card is plain but I thought I would add the smaller turtles to the corner as a point of interest I coloured these in the same colours as the turtles on the front of the card. I know I have someone to give this card to already as they are stuck in New Zealand at the moment and wont be home in time for their birthday on the 3rd of January. They were suppose to be home on the 8th October 2021 but have been unable to get direct flights back to South Australia and with a small Baby they need to get back here, At least they have family over there to stay with until such time. Thank goodness for little mercies.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these projects please give me a call, Email or PM me so that I can help you with your purchase.
