Week 13 - Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Crumb Cake

Hello and Welcome to week 13 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our colour is Crumb Cake,  part of the Neutrals collection and of the brownish shade it's one of the nicest. Being a lovely soft light brown, it's a colour that will go with so many others as I have done here.

I decided to make a Swing card, I started with a Polished Pink base and added the Crumb Cake as my layer this complemented to beautiful Whimsy & Wonder specialty designer series paper with the presents on it as there is Crumb Cake in it for my top layer.  Using the dies from the Poinsettia Petals I added the holly leave to the front of the card over the Window Sheeting. I stamped my sentiment onto one of the Tailor Made Tags using Crumb Cake Ink and added the Polished Pink Ribbon to finish off the front of the card.

You will notice that the centre section of the card is loose and is also a tiny bit shorter that the sides this is so that this section will swing.

As you can see in this photo. I also placed one of the holly leaved on the window sheeting from the back to cover up the glue dots.

The inside of my card is layered with Crumb Cake and more of the same designer series paper and a Basic White Writing panel that once again I stamped in Crumb Cake ink. The Crumb Cake in this card is a lovely contrast from the bright Polished Pink and the lovely DSP. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and the July- December 2021 Mini Catalogue. 10. Oh, I love your swing card Diane. I also particularly like that you chose to use this beautiful DSP with the crumb cake. They work so well together as the Crumb Cake helps to give the quite bright paper a softer tone.
