I have added a stand to my card and my measurements are Australian/European.

Week 50 - Colour Creations Showcase - Soft Suede

 

Hello and welcome to week 50 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Showcase. We are at the end of our normal colours now with the last one being Soft Suede. But we will be carrying on for the next 5 weeks with the 5 New Incolors so please come back and keep checking out our creations.

Well as I said above this week our colour is Soft Suede and beautiful Brown colour and I love it. my card is using retired products and I am sad to see them go but I had made this card before they retired so I am going to showcase them so that you can see my card. 

 

So here is my card, I started with a soft suede card base and added a Crumb Cake layer that I embossed I then added my layering circles with an image form the Embrace Each Moment (Retired) stamp set using Soft Suede ink and then added so Metallic Gold gems, I also stamped my sentiment and layered in the same manner.

 

My insert I layered using the Crumb Cake and then Basic White again stamping in Soft Suede. These colours go together really well and complement each other.

#71 (21) Fan Fold Card

Hi Everyone, as I thought this project was a bit long winded I decided that I would make it into 3 smaller video so there is they are. The 1st is for the making of the card followed by the making of the Rosette and the 3rd making the Envelope Box.

Week 49 - Soft Sea Foam - Colour Creations Showcase

 

Hello Everyone and welcome to week 49 of the colour creations Showcase. This week we have Soft Sea Foam for you and though this is a colour I don't use very often I was really amazed at how lovely my card turned out. 

I kept it very simple by only using minimal amounts of other colours. I started with a card blank in Soft Sea Form and added and embossed layer using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder in the same colour, this I glued down flat. I then used some of the Gold emboss Acetate sheet and a white Stitched So Sweetly Rectangle for my feature I glued these together and added Dimensionals to that back to give it some depth. I punched out the small flowers and added the gold glitter Enamel dots to the centres of the flowers. to finish off the front of the card I punch out some Sprigs in Gold Foil, White and Soft Sea Foam. 

My insert was kept very simple only a white layer that I used the Blending brush on around the edges with my Soft Sea Foam ink pad so that it soften the edges of the card. All of my stamping was done in Old Olive ink so that it didn't look so bright against the Soft Sea Foam. #70 (21) Little Chocolate Gift Box

A great little Idea, for a pick-me up for someone feeling low. For School fates, school friends or work mates. this little gift box makes a simple card just that little bit more especially when times are tuff. I hope you will have a go. Week 48 - So Saffron - Colour Creations Showcase

 

Hello and welcome to week 48 of the colour creations showcase, This week we have a lovely Happy colour called So Saffron Part of the Subtles collection this lovely soft Yellow is really easy to work with and so I have made a fun card this week.

Ice Cream any one? I started with a So Saffron card base and added a Blackberry Bliss layer I then added a DSP layer from the Ice Cream Corner papers. With the whimsical look that I was going for I added HB2U instead of the full words, using the Pattern Play Bundle (that I'm sad to see leaving us) I then stamped 2 ice cream cones in Crumb Cake and 4 scoops of Ice Cream 2 in So Saffron and 2 in Flirty Flamingo I punched them all out using the Ice Cream Maker Punch and added them to the front of the card using Dimensionals. They look good enough to eat to me.......lol

My insert I kept pretty plain with only a white layer stamped using So Saffron ink I place a Icy Pole in the bottom corner to finish it off and just a drip from the end of the Y which I thought looked cute. I'm really happy that this set is carrying over into the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue as I think I will get plenty of great cards from this set. Week 47 - Smoky Slate - Colour Creations Showcase

 

Hello and welcome to week 47 of the colour creations showcase. We have almost come to the end of our colours except the New INCOLORS they are really beautiful and I look forward to give them a bit of a workout as well. But Today we are using Smoky Slate it's Gray and to me it's a colour for a male card but I decided I would give it a go as a feminine card instead.

I wanted to use the Forever Fern again as I really love this bundle so I used only 3 colours Smoky Slate, Basic Gray and White and this is my creation for today. I started with the White card base and stamped in Smoky Slate I only used the Basic Gray to highlight around the white card. I also rounded all the corners for a change. I added a Basic Gray bow to finish off the front of the card. Not one of my favourite cards but I really was finding it hard to work with.

My insert I kept very plain as well, I also rounded the corners and stamped with Smoky Slate. I'm please to announce that the Forever Fern Stamp set and dies are carrying over into the new 2021-2022 Annual catalogue (not as a bundle) so we will still be again to make plenty more beautiful projects with this very versatile set.
