Hello and Welcome to week 31 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Showcase. Our colour this week is Old Olive, and being green is my favourtie colour I found this one easy to work with. This is such a lovely colour green not to dark and not to light. I decided I would use the Forever Fern stamp set this week as I had purchased it some time ago and have not got around to using it.
I started off this a White card base and added a layer in Old Olive, I then took another white layer and using the new blending Brushes and Old Olive ink I very lightly coloured around the edges and then into the centre before running it through my Embossing machine using the Subtle Embossing folder. I then used the layering scalloped rectangles from the So Sentimental Bundle to cut out the panels for the front of the card and layered them using white, which I also blended using the brush and Old Olive ink. I then Stamped my Images from the Forever Fern onto these. I mounted all the rectangles onto dimensionals and placed them onto the front of the card. I added 3 gems from the Holiday gems to finish it off.
For my insert I layered Old Olive card onto White and stamped my sentiment and ferns before blending around the edges once again using the new Blending Brushes. All the items used in this project can be found in the Annual and 2021 Mini Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of these products please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.
