Colour Creations Showcase - Week 4 Blackberry Bliss

https://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=5200

Hello and Welcome to Week 4 of the Colour Creations Showcase. This weeks colour is Blackberry Bliss, we are going through the colours in Alphabetical order over next 50 weeks showcasing all the beautiful colours in the Stampin' Up! range.
This is my card for this week-:

I decided that I wanted to show off the beautiful Embossing folders with Blackberry Bliss and so I have made my card with only 2 main colours and a splash of green for the leave.
I used the Ornate Garden and Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing folders on the Whisper White Card.  I layered them on to the front of the card at an angle, to bring your eye to them. I then added another 2 layers of  circles one scalloped and one plain using the layering circles dies. I didn't emboss these. I then punched out 5 flowers using the Small Bloom punch and shaped the flowers adding the New 2020-2022 In color Enamel dots in Bumble Bee for the centres. I glued the flowers to the circle. I then punch out 2 sprigs in Garden Green using the Sprig punch and die cut 3 leaves from the Forever Blossoms Bundle. I arranged the leave and sprigs and glued them into place.
I finished off the front of the card with a Happy Birthday from the Timeless Tulip stamp set. I then coloured to thin ribbon using my Blackberry Bliss Blender pen and fashioned a bow to place just below the flowers.

My insert I kept very place just stamping a sentiment form the Floral Essence stamp set. All the items used in this project are in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of the products used in this project please give me a call, email or PM alternatively you can place your order online and put my name (Diane Furniss) in as your demonstrator.

  3. Di, what a beautiful card. Your embossing really stands on the whisper white when it is layered onto the Blackberry Bliss and you're so right - the angle of the layer really catches your eye. Thank you for sharing your project tonight and providing Blackberry Bliss inspiration with us all!

  5. I never thought to use two different embossing folders on the one card. It looks really good! Popping them on the angle highlights it even more.

  12. Wow, what a great card Diane. I love the idea of combining those two patterns of embossing folders, they work so well together. Blackberry Bliss looks gorgeous just on its own on the Whisper White and the touch of green.

  13. Your flowers are so adorable! They make me think of pansies, I think. I am soooo not a gardener, so I'm not entirely sure of the name. I just know that I like them!
