Week 39 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pool Party

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 39 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Pool Party. As the colour suggests it like the colour of swimming pool water. I think it's a really pretty colour not green and not blue. It is party of the Subtles collection and has matching Paper, ink and Blends. I have chosen to make a gift box this week rather than a card, and it is Easter themed.

My box is tall about 7 1/4 inches (18cm) and will hold an array of items I have chosen to fill mine with Easter Eggs. So I started with Pool Party for my box and used the lovely Sale-A-Bration DSP called Dandy Designs. There are so many lovely designs in this pack and they are great for all occasions.  I then punched out 2 Decorative Circles one in Pool Party the other in Basic White. I stamped the Easter Eggs from the Easter Bunny Bundle along with the Saying. and then coloured in the eggs using my Marker Pens. I then stamped the Bunny from the same set and using my blends I coloured the rabbit in Crumb Cake. I think this little bunny is so sweet. I punched him out and added this to the front of the box. Finishing off the front with some bling, called glossy Dots Assortment.

This box will hold between 4 and six of the eggs shown in this photo. I think its a really sweet little project. All the items used in this project are current at the time of upload. But the Sale-A-Bration item will finish at end of February 2023. So if you would like this DSP please be quick as stock will be running low. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about these products or the project. You can contact me either via phone, email or MP.

Week 38 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Polished Pink

Hi and Welcome to week 38 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week we are featuring the colour Polished Pink, this is one of the 2021-2023 Incolors and will be retiring in April this year. 😢😢😢So sad as I really love this colour.

I have made another fancy fold this one being called a Split Front Card or Front Gap Card I couldn't make up my mind so it's a long title...  I wanted to do something with the new Share a Milkshake Bundle and also use some of the lovely Dandy Design DSP from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue and this is the card  that I came up with.

I started with a Basic white card base and added the Polished Pink layer then the DSP. All my stamping is in Polished Pink. I stamped the glass and the bubbles after stamping off once and the outline of the glass and wording a full strength. The only other colour ink I used was Real Red for the straws. I cut the centre section of the card front using the Deckled Rectangles.

I finished off the front of the card using the 2021-2023 Opal rounds and the New Happy Label Punch and a little wink of stella for a bit more sparkle.

As always my insert is very plain only adding some more hearts along with my sentiment message. All the items used in this project can be found in the Annual, Mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogues. If you would like to know more about these product of my project please feel free to contact me via email, PM or phone.

Week 37 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Petal Pink

Hello and welcome to week 37 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week we will be featuring Petal Pink. Not one of my favourite colours and yet I love pink in general. I thought I would hunt out an old fancy fold that I haven't made in awhile and use some of my Sale-A-Brations DSP so this is the card I came up with.

This is called a Diamond Spring Card and will lay flat and fit into a 14cm (5 1/2 inches) square envelope. I started with a Petal Pink card base and added a Basic White layer and then the DSP called Dandy Designs. I also used the Sending Smiles bundle from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue and Cut out the Sending (word) I then stamped and cut out the flowers.

Then using the Banners Pick A Punch I cut out and layered my sentiment tag. Finishing off the front of my card with some Basic Rhinestones.

This card doesn't have an inside so I put my writing panel on the base. I stamped this from the same Sending Smiles stamp set add a couple of flowers. Very plain but it says it all.

All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue and the 2023 Sale-A-Bration catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or my card design please feel free to give me Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 36 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pear Pizzazz

Hello and welcome to week 36 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week we are featuring the colour called Pear Pizzazz. For me this was an easy colour as green is my favourite colour, and this is a really lovely mid shade of green. I thought I would use some of the new products from the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalogue. I love the little bunnies, the bundle is called "Easter Bunny Bundle" on page 52.

So I started with 2 of the 3 bunnies colouring them using the Blends I used light and dark Crumb Cake I also stamped the little carrots and coloured them using Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green. I punched out the bunny that matches the punch and fussy cut the others along with the carrots and the grass.

I used the DSP from the Enjoy the Journey bundle and using my blending brush I added Pear Pizzazz ink to enhance the colour. Then I stamped some of the grass onto the front section, with the contours on the DSP it gave the look of different levels of grass. I thought that my Bunny scene turned out not half bad. Just finishing off the front with a Hi using the layering circles.

My insert was a little bit more than I usually do as I wanted to add another bunny here as well.

All the items used in this project can be found in the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalogue and the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to know more about these product or the card design please feel free to contact me either via email, PM or phone.

Week 35 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Pale Papaya

Hi Everyone and welcome to week 35 of the colour creations Blog-Hop. Happy New Year to you all. Sorry I didn't join the hop last week. This week we are featuring one of the 2021-2023 In-Colors called Pale Papaya. This is a lovely creamy or vary light orange. I have chosen to use one of the Sale-A-Brations stamp sets with this card. The Adorable Owls, they are just so cute. So this card is called a front Leg Card as you can see by the photos.

I started with a Pale Papaya card base and added a DSP layer to the front from the Perfectly Penciled Series. I coloured the flowers the Pale Papaya light & Dark Blends along with Granny Apple Green and Pumpkin Pie. I then Stamped one of the owls and coloured them using the same colours along with light Crumb Cake. I cut out the circles using the Layering Circle Dies and added dimensionals to the back attached them to the front of the card. I then stamped my tag and flagged each end before attaching this to the front of that card as well. Finishing off the front with the Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon and the  Pale Papaya Opal Rounds.

I stamped the inside of my card with the Hoot Hoot You're so Cute stamp and left the rest very plain.

All the items used in the project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual catalogue except the Adorable Owls, which are a Sale-A-Bration Items and can only be redeemed with a $90AU order. Week 33 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Old Olive

Hello and welcome to the last Colour Creations Blog-Hop for 2022, we will all be back in the New Year to finish off the colour pallet. Starting up again on the 4th January 2023. But until then here we are featuring Old Olive. As you would all know by now Green is my Favourite colour so I really didn't have any trouble with is one. I decided I would use the lovely Grassy Grove Stamp Set, that you will find on page 84 of the Annual Catalogue. I started with a Basic White card base and added a Old Olive layer and then I stamped my scene on another piece of Basic White.

I started with the sun and the Blending Brushes using Daffodil Delight and then some Balmy Blue for the sky area. I then used some torn paper and the Blending Brushes to form the hills using Old Olive ink pad. Once I was happy with them I then added a little extra to give a deeper green. I stamped the tree in the same colour and using a small brush I added a little Flirty Flamingo behind the trees so that it looked like the sun shining through them. Finishing off the front with the grassy stamp and the Dear that I stamped in Soft suede. To give a bit of sparkle to the card I used my Wink of Stella on the trees as well.

Keeping my insert simple I layered some more Basic White onto Old Olive and just stamped some more trees in the bottom corner. All in other stamping was done using Momento Ink.  All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about this technique or the items used, please feel free to contact me via email, PM or phone.

Week 32 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Night of Navy

Hello and welcome to week 32 of the colour creations blog-hop. This week our feature colour is called Night of Navy, and as the name suggests this colour is a lovely Navy Blue. So I thought I would make a lovely stepper card to show off all of the lovely colours.

I started with Night of Navy for the card base and I added Melon Mambo and using Hues of Happiness DSP to show up all of the squares on this card. I also added the same layers to the square on the top of the steps and on the back of the card.

I finished off my card front with a flower from the same DSP and stamped Friend from that matching stamp set. popping these all up of the lovely Decorative Circle Punch and the Double Oval Punch. the embellishments are from the Glossy Dots Assortment. On the back of the card I added a larger square for my writing panel. All the stamping was done in Night of Navy. This card folds flat and will fit into a regular envelope.

All the products used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these product or the card, please feel free to contact me via email, Phone or PM so that I can help you.
