Week 18 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Early Espresso

Hi Everyone, Welcome to week 18 of the Colour creations Blog-Hop. We are featuring the Colour Early Espresso today and I love this colour its a beautiful dark brown. So I have chosen to make a Faux Centre Stepper Card. I am using the beautiful Abigail Rose DSP and the matching Cottage Rose Bundle.

I started with an Early Espresso card Base and added Basic White layers before the Abigail Rose DSP. I then stamped a Flower and Leaves from the matching stamped set using Early Espresso ink and coloured using the Ivory Blends. I then used the Lifter to lighten the colour. Adding these to the front of the card along with my Sentiment using the Stylish Shape dies. and finishing off this Champagne Rhinestones.

The inside of my card I layered my Basic White onto some Crumb Cake and stamped my sentiment and some more leave. Colouring the leaves using the same technique as I did for the flower and leaves on the front of the card.

All the items used in this project can be found the the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like to know more about these item or would like to purchased them please feel free to give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 15 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Crumb Cake

Hello and welcome to week 15 of the Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week a feature colour is Crumb Cake. Crumb Cake is part of the Neutrals Collection and a love light brown colour. I like it. I have chosen a card that I saw done by a few different people over the past few months, and I really loved it. It's a larger card fitting into a 51/2 inch square envelope, but when it is open it measures more that 10 inches. It's called a Triple Diamond Card.

I used the beautiful Abigail Rose Suite for this card as I thought the paper and style of this card went together so well. I used my Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers and leaves before cutting them out and mounting them onto the front of the card. I added some Brushed Metallic dots to finish off the front. When the card is standing you it has a zig zag formation.

So it stands really well. I used the DSP from the same set for both the front and back of the card. you actually write on the back of the card.

There is plenty of space here. Even though this is a bigger card I think that it would look wrong if sized down.  it does fold flat nicely to fit into the envelope.

So happy with this card that I wrote a tutorial for this card so that I could make it again. If you would like to know more about this project or the products used please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.

Week 14 Colour Creations Blog-Hop - Coastal Cabana

Hi there and welcome to week 14 of the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog-Hop. This week our feature colour is Coastal Cabana, this is from the Brights Collection. A lovely Turquoise colour and I love it. I decided to team it up with Bermuda Bay, as I think these two colours go together really well. So I started with a Bermuda Bay card base and added the Coastal Cabana layer I stamped this layer using the Happiness Abounds stamp set just to give the outline of the flowers. I them added 3 scalloped circle layers using the layering circles dies before adding one of the flowers from the matching DSP. I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set and used the Stylish Shapes dies. Finishing off the front with some Basic rhinestones.

I curled the flower and added the leaves using dimensionals. I painted the whole flower using Wink of Stella.

My insert was a layer of Coastal Cabana and Basic White card Stamping the flower outline again to match the front of the card and a simple Best Wishes. All the items used in this project can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. If you would like more information on these products please feel free to give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you.
