Hello and Welcome to my Blog. This week in the Art with Heart Team Australia Showcase we are using Petal Pink. Well this is really not one of my favourite colours. I do like pink by for me this one is a big wishy washy. Petal Pink is part of the Subtles collections. This week I have done a very simple card using the layering rectangles and the Prized Peony bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. I layered my Peony Garden DSP between Smoky Slate Card stock to give a layered effect. I then added a sentiment and cut out peony flower that I coloured using the Stampin Blend Combo pens to the front. I think it needs more but unsure what?
My insert I layered with smoky slate and white card before added a small piece of DSP down one side for extra interest.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any of all of the items used in this project please give me a call, email or PM so that I can help you with your purchase.

Di I think your card is just perfect as it it - it doesn't need any more wit all that gorgeous layering. Thanks for joining the CCS tonight!
ReplyDeleteLovely use of the Peony Garden DSP, Di; good choice to use it as your Petal Pink feature! The decoration on the inside of your card is beautiful, too. Nice job with this rather difficult colour!
ReplyDeleteI love that you have reminded us to use the beautiful papers in the Annual Catalogue. Lovely card - the DSP is such a great way to feature the colour.
ReplyDeleteA lovely card Diane. Great use of the Peony Garden DSP. I love your layering of Smoky Slate cardstock between the DSP and the addition of a stamped Peony. Gorgeous. xxx
ReplyDeleteA lovely way to use such a heavily patterned paper, Di. Looks great with the Smoky Slate layers breaking it up. Great design.
