Week 9 - Cherry Cobbler

Hi Everyone, and welcome to week 9 of the colour Creations Showcase. This weeks colour is Cherry Cobbler and as the name says this is a lovely rich dark red colour it is part of the Regals Collection of colours.

This week I have 2 cards for you all to see, my first is using the "To a Wild Rose" bundle which can be found on page 15 of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. This card started life as a Cherry Cobbler cards base and I added a white layer with 3 Cherry Cobbler strips on the left hand side. I then stamped my message onto an white card and die cut out in oval along with another scalloped oval in Cherry Cobbler and attached to the front of the card using dimensionals. I then stamped the large flower (which if a 3 stage stamp) using the stamparatus along with the leaves and then die cut them and attached to the front of the card.

I left the inside blank as I am going to write a letter to send this card to my Pen Friend in the UK, we have been friend since we were both 7 years old, even with the miles between us these days we still write letters to each other. (on Paper)

For my 2nd card once again I started with a Cherry Cobbler card base and then I added a strip of DSP from the new Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue That goes live on the 4th August 2020 this Paper is from the 'Tis the Season range on page 31 of the Mini Catalogue. I attached this to a white card and then run it through the Big Shot using the "Old World Paper" 3D Embossing folder. I then stamped the poppy from the  "Painted Poppies" stamp set and coloured them using the Cherry Cobbler Blender pens. I added my Happy Birthday from the "Peaceful Moments" Bundle using the die to cut out the tag. I coloured 3 of the Champagne Rhinestones using the Dark Cherry Cobbler blender pen and place them onto the front of the card.

Once again I left the inside of the card blank as this stage. All the items in these 2 project can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue and the August- December 2020 Mini Catalogue, if you would like to purchase any or all of the items used in these projects please give me a call, email or PM, so that I can help you with your purchase.
