Colour Creations - Pineapple Punch

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3399

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 37 of the Colour Creations Hop and this week the colour is Pineapple Punch. Wow what a lovely bright colour it is. But I did have trouble coming up with something I liked. In the end I settled for using the Dear Doily Bundle again and turned out this card....

It's a very simple card but I was pleased with how it turned out in the end. I started with a Basic Black card base and used the Pineapple Punch as a layer with Whisper White over the top, I then stamped the large doily in Pineapple Punch and the smaller doily in Black. I added the ribbon on the left just to brake it up a little and I think it works a treat.
I'm really loving this set and I think this card could look very pretty in many colours.

I kept the insert very plain as well. I think this was enough I didn't want to take anything away from the front.
All the items used in the project can be found in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any of the items used please either give me Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.
Thank you for hopping along with me this week to catch more Pineapple Punch please head over to Catherine Page here-:

Colour Creations - Petal Pink

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3367

Hi Everyone, Here we are with Petal Pink this week. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite colours as I like a nice bright Pink myself, but it's very pretty and I love it in the card that I have made this week.

I have used Smoky Slate along with the petal pink for this card and used the DSP from the Share What you Love pack. I also used the Dear Doily Bundle and the Humming Along Stamp set for this project.
I started with a Whisper White Card Base and add my layers as I went along stamping in Petal Pink and Memento ink I cut the wreath doily from the thinlets and glued this to the front of the card, I know it is quite a simple card and muted colours but I love it.

I shaped the sentiment tag to give it some dimension as I thought it looked a little flat and boring laying down. So using my bone folder to break the fibers and then place foam pad on the back to lift it up just that little bit more. I then added the gold faceted gems to finish it off.

I added 2 layer to the inside of my card to add extra interest and stamped the doilies randomly.
All the items used in this project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like to purchase any or all of these products please give me a Call, Email or PM so that I can help you.

Colour Creations - Pear Pizzazz

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3341

Hi Everyone, here we are at week 35 of the Colour Creations Blog and this week the colour is Pear Pizzazz, As you all know by now green is my favourite colour so this was a not a problem for me. I chose the Beauty Abounds Bundle (150617) for this card as it will be going to the UK in their Springtime. The card design is a little unusual as well but I just loved it. I think I will have to write a tutorial for it. It came from a YOUTUBE video that I saw from the lovely lady at Mixed up Crafts, Sam.
I used a Pear Pizzazz card base and added a layer in garden green and a DSP layer using the Share what you Love paper. My Butterflies are in Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. I think these colours go very well together.

I stamped in Pear Pizzaz using the same stamp set as this card is going to my oldest friend we have been friends since we were both 5 years old and started school together. The back of the card is in 2 sections this is the 1st and now the 2nd is below.
Plenty of space to write your message that's for sure. I love that this card also folds flat and fits into an normal envelope. I'm sure that Barbara will love it, I just wish I could deliver it in person. Maybe one day in the near future this will happen.

I did add a few clear stones to the front of the card just to finish it off. At first I wasn't sure about it but as I sit and look at it I like it more and more.
All the items used for this project can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. Colour Creations-: Pacific Point

http://whatcathymade.com.au/?p=3310

Hi Everyone,
Here we are again and we are already into February of 2019 Wow the last month went by so quick.
This week our colour is called Pacific Point- What a lovely colour blue this is. I just love it.
I thought I would revisit products from the Annual catalogue for my creation and I just love this card. I have made is few times now and you will also find my YOUTUBE video for this card (Different Colour) on my blog as well.

I don't think the photo's do it justice is looks heaps better in person. I started with a Whisper White Card and added the mat's for the front and insert in the Pacific Point and I did all my stamping in the same colour. I used the DSP from the Garden Impressions set and I think it picks up the colour fantastic.
I cut my Butterfly from the Abstract Impressions Bundle in Silver Foil Sheet and then I traced around it onto some Pacific Point card and hand cut this to make a solid butterfly to place behind.

I then attached this and the sentiment to the front of the card using dimensionals and added some faceted gems to the body of the butterfly. The sentiment is from the Hand Delivered stamp set by the way.

I stamped the inside of the card using the Beauty Abounds stamp set as I thought this was just such a pretty sprig and butterflies.
If you would like to purchase any or all of the products used in this project please either Call, Email or PM me so that I can help you with your Purchase.
